Name: Ran Wo
Tier: A Tier
Damage Required to Defeat: A Tier plus A Tier shield.
Description: Ran Wo is a former Kounese assassin from the Rime Syndicate who joined the Ash Company due to being ousted from her position in the black markets after the Kou civil war ended and Yoshiro enacted reforms on illicit substances. She became a Leshy when she accompanied Zubaidah to the second Grand Auction, infiltrating the Dungeon Beast experiments in order to gain more information on their mysterious benefactor. With a new and unusual physiology, Ran Wo mastered body manipulation techniques by herself in order to utilise the qualities of plant mimicry in disguising her tree-like form, growing various fungi and her white birch bark to create a seemingly human appearance. Her colourful dresses are really a combination of symbiotic flora, cultivated throughout her Leshy body, while her black hair is actually the dark roots from carnivorous plants that grow upon her head.
Weapons:
- The Dubious Maw:
- Name: The Dubious Maw
Tier: A Tier
Type: Organic Weapon [Man-Eating Plant]
Appearance: Ran Wo has cultivated symbiotic flora into an organic weapon attached onto her head. She has grown plant-matter into a black and white man-eating flower about one and a half metres in length, thorns lining the insides like an overgrown maw.
Weapon Tricks:- Ravenous Thorns [C Tier] - Ran Wo may feed all trait-related substances from Poisonous Fruit and Blood Roots into the Dubious Maw.
Sharpened Thorns [C Tier] - If a target is hurt by the Dubious Maw, they will also be dealt C Tier damage the next post in bleeding.

- Branch of the Bloodied Arch:
- Name: Branch of the Bloodied Arch
Tier: A Tier
Type: Grafted Weapon [Wooden Machine]
Magic: Life Magic
Appearance: Ran Wo requested that Amnet and Kihya convert the bough from an old Kounese redwood into a magic item for her Leshy body. It has been carved into an intricate machine, inserted and assimilated into her throat, and engraved with a magic circle. It allows her to attack by projecting wood chippings from her mouth, giving her access to a ten metre projectile weapon that deals laceration damage.
Function: The user pours magoi into the machine, causing thorn-lined trees to burst outwards in spherical dimensions from themselves up to ten metres in length. These thorns deal B Tier damage and cause lacerations that deal D Tier damage in bleeding over four more posts.
Traits:
- Leshy Physiology:
- Leshy Physiology:
Trait Name:Leshy Physiology
Trait Tier: -
Trait Requirement: Plot thread - Auction Purchase
Trait Description The person who becomes a Leshy becomes a wooden person that is twice the size the person was before along with gaining additional limbs and root-like legs to walk on. The type of tree and amount of leaf covering is up to the person.
Trait Effect:- The Leshy's body is made from two layers, a protective bark outer layer and a weaker sinewy surface underneath. This bark has A-tier Shield durability, but unfortunately takes double damage from heat and lightning-based attacks. Once broken it must be regrown through three posts of A-tier rest, four of B-tier, or five of C-tier
- The Leshy has four arms that are equally strong capable of doing B-tier basic attack damage with their arms. The Leshy is also equally proficient with these arms and can wield weapons in any of them.
- The Leshy's root legs are adept at running allowing them to run at C-tier speeds comparable to a beast. This allows them to go from being rooted to suddenly leaping upon an enemy. They can also root themselves within soil for C-tier resting benefits.
- The Leshy can be any class, gaining a plant themed life magic weapon for their main class that is equal to their tier and must be upgraded through its own thread with a wc equal to class rank up.
- Magoi pools and stamina are equal to previous race, but lose previous racial benefits.
- The Leshy has a weak sinewy underlayer and a protective bark shield. Their shield takes double damage from fire and their sinewy underbody takes triple damage from fire. Any damage taken from fire requires twice the tier in healing to recover from.

- Deadly Flower:
- Trait Name: Deadly Flower
Trait Tier: A Tier
Trait Requirement: Assassin, Body Manipulator and Leshy physiology.
Trait Description: After she gained her Leshy body, Ran Wo learnt body manipulation techniques in order to control her new plant-based physiology. Due to her profession as an assassin, however, she decided that she should master changing her appearance to better fit into human society, growing symbiotic flora in ways that would allow her to create human-like features.
Trait Effect: Ran Wo may grow specialised fungi and plant-matter into skin-like textures in order to disguise herself in human society, but these disguises only last until she enters combat. She may alter her features freely outside of combat and control her size between two metres and ten metres, but she can only change her size once per post in combat. This also allows her to register abilities related to fungi and plant-matter.
- Poisonous Fruit:
- Trait Name: Poisonous Fruit
Trait Tier: A Tier
Trait Requirement: Assassin, Rime Syndicate knowledge and Leshy physiology.
Trait Description: A former Rime Syndicate assassin involved in narcotics and other illicit substances, Ran Wo has a deep understanding of poison synthesis. With her new Leshy physiology, she has learnt to produce all kinds of plant-based poisons through her own body.
Trait Effect: Ran Wo can register four instances of mundane poisons based on those approved for Zubaidah, which she may use freely during a thread. When a new thread is started, Ran Wo restores her poisons to the max four instances. This allows her to lace weapons with poison as a basic action or seed them into any ability used, wherein they activate upon contact with a target.
- Bloody Roots:
- Trait Name: Bloody Roots
Trait Tier: C Tier
Trait Requirement: Body Manipulator, Leshy physiology, Deadly Flower and Poisonous Fruit trait.
Trait Description: With her understanding of symbiotic flora, Ran Wo has altered her internal biology in such a way that she secretes sap with unusual properties.
Trait Effect: Ran Wo produces an anticoagulant substance within her Leshy sap, automatically coating any user-created plants with this substance. She may also coat other weapons with her sap as a basic action. This causes all bleeding to last three posts longer and requires an extra instance of C Tier healing on top of the base damage for the bleeding to halt.
Transformation:
- Partial Transformation:
- Makkali’s Forest
Transformation Type: Partial
Cost: 4 posts max (once per thread)
Description: Using her control over plant-matter, Ran Wo has assimilated the Bough of the Bloodied Arch into her Leshy physiology and transformed into something more similar to her initial Leshy form. She barely resembles a human woman any longer, white birch and brambles bursting forth from her body, looking like wizened hands reaching towards the earth.- Traits Replaced:

Trait Tier: A Tier
Trait Requirement: Body Manipulator, Leshy physiology, Deadly Flower trait and Makkali’s Forest transformation.
Trait Description: In tandem with her symbiotic flora and magic-infused physiology, Ran Wo has altered her internal biology in such a way that she secretes sap with abnormal properties.
Trait Effect: Ran Wo produces an anticoagulant substance within her Leshy sap, automatically coating any user-created plants with this substance. She may also coat other weapons with her sap as a basic action. This causes all bleeding to last three posts longer and requires an extra instance of B Tier healing on top of the base damage for the bleeding to halt. Due to her magic-infused physiology, she may also absorb any blood which comes into contact with herself or user-created plants in order to ingest the nutrients within. This allows her to restore up to B Tier damage once per post dependent on the blood.
- New Abilities:
Crimson Thorns: Ran Wo burrows her roots into the ground, before dividing them into eight thorny plants. She may have these plants remain beneath the earth for up to four posts, restricting her movement to a twenty metre radius from her initial position during this time. She may then grow these plants to burst from the ground up to thirty metres in height, dealing D Tier damage per plant as lacerations.
Scarlet Brambles: Ran Wo expands her root in a twenty metre radius, creating a field of thorny brambles upon the ground below for three posts. If someone touches the brambles, they will deal C Tier damage as lacerations, causing an extra D Tier damage each post for two posts.
Haunted Forest: Ran Wo spreads her roots across a fifty metre in diameter area around herself, stimulating the growth of a bramble forest in the same area, growing them up to fifty metres in height. The trees grow through hard surfaces such as stone, forming a massive maze of trees. The trees can be felled with A Tier strength or basic attacks, and remain for four posts unless destroyed. This allows her to use any tree from this ability as a starting-point for any base ability.
Abilities:
- Sanctuary: Ran Wo seeds a nearby surface with white birch, stimulating the growth of a full-grown tree up to twenty metres in height and two metres in width. This tree has B Tier item durability and produces a B Tier stamina-recovery fruit, but withers after three posts or once the fruit is picked.
- Slumber: Ran Wo spreads paralysis-inducing spores in a five metre radius around herself or a plant-based ability within twenty metres. These spores last for four posts and induce A Tier paralysis on anyone who comes into those five metres as long as they stay within the radius.
- Synthesis: Ran Wo synthesises one instance of mundane poison according to those registered under the Poisonous Fruit trait, allowing her to apply it to any subsequent ability while the Poisonous Fruit trait remains active - or simply coat it onto a weapon as a basic action otherwise.
- Vajrayana’s Shield: Ran Wo disseminates fungi spores into the surrounding environment, coating herself, one ally or one plant-based ability within twenty metres with fungus-related mycelium armour. This adds an extra A Tier armour durability onto the target.
- Yamantaka’s Spears: Ran Wo releases unusual pollen into the surrounding air, before growing four man-eating flowers matching those upon her head. Each flower deals C Tier damage through bite attacks and can reach up to ten metres away. She may place them on herself, surrounding vegetation or any other plant-based ability within forty metres. She does not need to place these flowers on the same target.
