Personality: It is rather noticeable to strangers, his foreboding nature, his bored eyes. A boy bored with the life he had lived up until now, he requires constant stimulation to feel his best. However, the slow life of noblemen did not suit the boy who was gifted with the blade. It was monotonous being cooped up within the confines of his clan estate, the Yanaihara. It was quite clear to the clan that the boy was talented, but the behavior nor values of the child fit the clan who were proud of being righteous souls. It revolted the boy that his clan could be so sure that morals were so clear cut. Janka may belong to the famed people of the Yanaihara, but his sense of morals were far more forgiving than that of his clan.
If you come to Janka with the expectations of a boy with morals of a saint, turn the other way. Janka will not play or tease people, nor enjoys being toyed with. It is fair to call him a skeptic, but a very curious soul who enjoys traveling and testing himself. Janka tends to be silent, not trying to be quite social with others, but rather, let others come to him. It is rare, but at times, certain people may fascinate him. In cases such as that, he will find himself drawn to the person to either further his development, or gain a rare friend. However, the boy will usually never try to befriend others, unless their goals align with one another, but he has yet to meet a person that fit that criteria. Janka hopes to find unique people that may impart wisdom upon him.

Likes: Janka enjoys nature, hot springs, and that which is far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Oh yes, Janka sure has the Yanaihara love for adventure. It is rare for Janka to turn down a spar too, similar that of his clansmen, who love combat to their core.
Dislikes: If he had to name one thing he loathed most, by far, he would say fish. It is a revolting food that he will never eat, unless he was literally on his deathbed. However, other than fish, the boy people who are constantly glum, detesting people who sulk rather than make an effort to revolt against their miseries with strength.
Aspirations: It is the goal of Janka to ensure his blade can cut down those who stand within his path, for his trust of others has waned since having made his departure from his clan. It is quite rare for the boy to trust those who stand at the top, so he wishes to carve his own path, and reject the rule of the famous, or the strong.
Phobias/Fears: Janka despises those who manipulate others to do their bidding, or place high expectations on those who yet not know what to do with their life. It angers him when people try to strip the choice of freedom from others, whether that be slavery, or upbringing, he loathes those who try to control others' fates. Janka wishes to be the only one who leads his own destiny, by whatever means he must.

History: In the far eastern land of Kina rested the lone plains, where worn hands toiled tirelessly, so that the people could be fed. However, the clan that led the people of this town, these country bumpkins, were none other than the widely famed clan, the Yanaihara. It was rare for the men of the clan to be naturally talented, so the times where a child was recognized to be gifted with the blade, they were prized. Yet, being prized by one's clan and people both a blessing, but a curse, as one may expect. In return for peace, the Yanaihara, had a man from their religious branch once marry a noble damsel from the disreputable Kogata. A wave of grief came over the branch which had been forced to tie the knot with the Kogata, but this union was one made from the desire to uphold the peace, not one of love. In time though, the grievances of the virtuous and noble Yanaihara clan were to subside. It was thanks to the boy whom was to be born from this union, Janka.
It was upon one boy of the Yosozume branch now to bring his people to prosper within the rising feud of the clans. However, the child couldn't bother, really. It was far too much pressure on Janka, and due to that, a festering rejection of fate was to begin to build within the boy. How could the boy risk life and limb, for others who would just mourn
