However, despite that, Mei was not a person with a heart of malice or evil. In truth, the young lady was a woman who rebuked the corrupt, but due to her hand within the mass produce of fake metals sold by her family during the civil war, she was sentenced to prison time of eight years. Yet, charmed by the heroic but controversial man bearing the last name Yanaihara, she decides to join him to seek refuge within the borders of the nation, Kina. Mei has connections with the nation of Kina through her late grandfather who was a Kogata shinobi operative.
