Interior (Job/plot)

The 1st major wonder of the world of Magi, the Architect known as Ustad, had just spent the last several months making his first child, his first building. He was excited to see something this beautiful, this astounding, this magnificent piece of architecture that only he, ustad, could create. However, there was something that seemed to be lacking in a great deal in this estate. The famed, world renown architect had to begin to work on the interior as well as the windows now.

First was going to be the windows for the bottom structure. The onion dome that was on top had windows already built into it so that was something that he could skip. Yet the base structure had none and was currently dimly lit which would make work on the interior to be quite difficult. Ustad would find himself to be quite ill equipped to making the windows so he would leave that to the workers that he had hired. They would make quick work on carving out placement for the windows in about a days time.

While the workers were making the windows Ustad the architect would begin to work on the furniture that would go in it. He would go about making a table using the granite that he had acquired from the quarry a few months prior. With extreme precision and his hammer and a nail he would begin to work on chiseling away at a large slab, cutting away until he had a thin slab that would serve as the table top. It would not end up being that long since he never planned to invite people over. Once it was done the workers would place it on four small blocks that would serve as legs making the table just a bit over a foot over the ground. This would be the type of table you had to sit on the floor to use.

He would go about the rest of the week designing counters as well as other surfaces that will serve as furniture and the like inside of the structure. The onion dome would have a wooden desk that he hired a carpenter to build since he was not knowledgeable in such things. He would not bother with glass panes for the windows since he saw no point in covering them.

For the finishing tough he would end up placing a circular pattern of red and purple tiles in the flooring. This would serve as a simple attempt to give the interior some color and life. The interior designing was not his strong suit but it was a minor effort so he decided to give it a try. His interest was in the structure itself more so than the making it pretty part.

This stage of the process would only take about two weeks to complete but once it was done the budding architect would smile but only to himself. He would pay the workers with the last of his savings before sending them all off. He was officially out of money and did not even have enough to afford food now. He would have to start taking jobs immediately if he wanted to survive in this industry as well as this world.
