Entering the Kogata [Job/Solo]

Altan folded the letter she was just reading and slipped it behind the hem of her kimono like outfit, it was the letter from one of the elders of her clan, the Bey clan. She received the mission to establish a connection with one of the clans of Kina, well it was vague actually, like, they had a lot of clans… But well, Altan chose the one she thought would be good to revive the Bey Clan, hence why she was receiving this initiation mission from the Kogata Clan. But she actually felt the pressure from the leader of the clan… she seemed...cold although a smile was always carved on her beautiful face.

As for her first mission, which she received suddenly… she had to pursue this shinobi from other clan who basically betting his own life to eavesdrop on the Kogata clan, stupid move in Altan’s opinion. “I will do it.” The Fanalis said before as she gripped her bow and slipped her arrow pouch so it would hang behind her. They told her that the shinobi was injured, so Altan thought it would be easy to pursue the spy from the trace of his blood’s drop. As a ranger herself, the redhead thought she would be pretty good at this, especially in hunting. It was the matter of cornering the prey...and subdue them, no matter how. She had to be smart as well, at least smarter than the prey itself...and when she got them cornered, she just had to shoot her arrow. She got this… she knew how to do it, she did it a hundred...even a thousand times. But the pressure was on, her success would affect the decision of Kogata’s clan regarding her usefulness.

The girl began to run, but she didn't let out any sound, she didn't want to notify her target that she was coming after them. Her sharp eyes were looking at the blood on the ground, stopping a little bit as she kneeled down to touch the blood with his index finger before rubbing it with her thumb. It felt a little bit dry, so Altan had to quicken her pace, she couldn't afford to lose her prey. At some point, she kneeled down again to see if she was close enough to her target by examining his blood before she moved on again, this time, much more careful because she was already close enough.

As the girl hid herself behind the trees, she could see the shinobi stopped a bit, tried to catch his breath while trying to stop the bleeding from his injury. For Altan, this would be the perfect moment… so she lifted up her bow, taking two of her arrows before positioning them on the bow and pulled the string. She didn't need to close one of her eyes to adjust her shooting, she only needed to focus on the target and believed in herself. There was no need to count as well, the redhead only needed to stop breathing for a bit, focusing herself entirely on the shot and… she released the two arrows. Two of the arrows hit the spy’s leg and a pained scream could be heard right after that, he was unable to maintain his balance with one other leg and Altan basically hit the vital part of the leg. If he was lucky… he would still be able to walk again with two feet later on. But, that would be if the Kogata clan didnt murder him later after she delivered the package.

With a sigh, Altan approached the shinobi, although he was still trying to get away by throwing a kunai. But it was futile, he wast able to hit Altan properly and the kunai missed before falling to the ground. The redhead would use her Fanalis strength to hit the back of the shinobi’s neck, making him unconscious. As much as she felt bad for this spy, Altan tried to not think about it like that, it was necessary and she was not at fault for doing this. The redhead would then carry the unconscious spy on her back before delivering him to the Kogata clan, proving her usefulness.
