New Spells for her new Magician Tier with Water bases to them.

Masking Mist


Tier: C
Class: Magician
Type: Supplementary
Range:  Long
Requirements/Drawbacks: Requires both Sound And Water Magic to cast, Alongside this the caster must sing the chant investing emotional drive into the occuring song/spell. Disclaimer, you don’t have to sing well but you have to be notably trying to sing.
”Chant”:

Scaling: For an additional 10 Magoi she can make this last an additional round.
Sustain: 1 Time Per Casting
Cool Down: 2
Cost: 20 Magoi | + 10 Magoi Per Sustain
Description:

    As she begins to chant music made by her sound based magic will begin to play using water magic to distort the sound into a haunting and chilling song as a mist flows out from her staff. The Sound magic plays as a separate effect from the one produced from the water magic. It primarily beign used to distract and disorientate the mist. By the end of her chanting the mist will spread out to 15 meters in a large circle, the center point starting at her while growing but will shift afterwards to hide her location or even going past her to where she is outside of the affected area. When it is fully grown the mist will be hard to see through but you can see others when they are roughly 2 meters away. Alongside this the affected area will still hear the music playing distortedly all over the area with nor clear source of origin sounding as though it is coming from multiple directions that change actively. Occasionally as the rift will replay her singing though this time in a more chilling and distorted manner. If she has scaled this it will last for 2 rounds if she does not it will only last for 1.





The Deepest Cut

”Chant”:

Scaling: For an additional 10 Magoi she can make this scale from a C Tier damage to a B Tier
Sustain: 2 Times Per Casting
Cool Down: 2
Cost: 20 Magoi | + 10 Magoi Per Sustain
Description:

    As she begins to cast this spell music will start to play with her Sound magic and till game a more bassy background to the music as the Water magic is added. The Sound magic plays as a separate effect from the one produced from the water magic and simply here exists to add a music effect to the main spell. Large sharp shards of ice will gather around her in the air roughly 1 Meter in size each and will form a set of 2, 1 more will be added if she scales the damage up. Each shard doing D Tier damage, 2 of them would add up to C Tier damage and if the tird is added with scaling up it would add up to B Tier Damage. It will then fire off at the given target of the spell. The sound hitting a climax as it fires off then fading away as the shards attack ends. This song being one more sad slower song until it hits its climax where it picks up a bit to sound like more of a racing heart before it ends with a fading away at the climax of the racing heart almost like a flat line.





Bubble The Pain

Range:  Short
Requirements/Drawbacks: Requires both Sound And Water Magic to cast, Alongside this the caster must sing the chant investing emotional drive into the occurring song/spell. Disclaimer, you don’t have to sing well but you have to be notably trying to sing.
”Chant”:

Scaling: For an additional 10 Magoi she can defend against one tier higher damage
Sustain: 2 Time per casting
Cool Down: 2 Posts
Cost: 20 Magoi | + 10 Magoi Per Sustain
Description:

    As she sings music will start to play with Sound magic as it is distorted by Water magic the pace of the song quickly picking up into a more racey song and a beat one could dance to. The Sound magic plays as a separate effect from the one produced from the water magic and is primarily there to just supply a musical effect. As it charges up water will flow out form her staff to form a 3 meter large bubble of water around her, if it is scaled up it will gain a thin wall of ice around it. She is able to move freely inside the bubble staring in a floating position in the center. As attacks will come in it will slow them down for her by a half of their speed allowing her to better move out of the way, or even with an ice covering block the attack while she is cushioned from the blow and even falls while inside her bubble. This will last for up to 2 posts. This can only slow down C Tier abilities or lower. Once it passes the bubble will steam away into the air with an added ice shattering shimmer if it is scaled.

Description:

    Music starts to play right away at a fast pace as she sings with her Sound magic It then will become distorted with an added Water magic forming bubbles all around the affected area of a 15 meter dome on the ground. The now occurring music will then slow drastically down as intense vibrations are sent out going through the muscles of those inside using by using the Sound Magic. The Water magic being used for more of a display to visualize the affected area. Body manipulators at C Tier or higher may be able to ignore this effect due to their skills with their own body control, this though is up to the player to decide if they have this kind of skill or even to just lessen this ability. This spell will last for 1 round unless scaled then it will last for an additional round. The song will quickly speed back up to its original racey pace as its ending before fading away.





Drowning Fear

Range:  Medium
Requirements/Drawbacks: Requires both Sound And Water Magic to cast, Alongside this the caster must sing the chant investing emotional drive into the occurring song/spell. Disclaimer, you don’t have to sing well but you have to be notably trying to sing.

Scaling: For an additional 10 Magoi she can make this go from B Tier Damage to A Tier Damage
Sustain: 2 Time per casting
Cool Down: 3 Posts | 4 Posts if Sustained And Scaled
Cost: 30 Magoi | + 15 Magoi Per Sustain
Description:

    As she chants music will begin to play with her Sound magic playing a very racey song that sounds fairly angry in a way. The Sound magic plays as a separate effect from the one produced from the Water magic and is used to just provide music for effect and to signal when the spell is in affect or about to be once more. As she finishes chanting the aoe will start out from her in a circle will form a massive amount of water that will trap anyone in the area inside water that will start to spin in opposite directions violently crushing those inside. This Aoe a cylinder of water 7m in diameter and 5m tall. Those caught inside take intense damage to the lungs in the form of torrential waters swirling in doing B Tier damage. If scaled it will do A Tier Damage instead. The water will flow out when the spell finishes though if she plans to sustain the spell the music will continue warning those around that it will strike once more at the start of the next round giving them time to try to flee or counter.

So, for the most part, your abilities seem fine but there are a few things that should be clarified or fixed. One for your costs you should list the cost and the sustain which is half of the cost, generally, you only need the scale cost when using it. As for the sustains, those are left empty unless the ability is actually sustained when in use.

Now along with those fixes after reading through your abilities it seems that the sound magics only real use is to have to the song be activation requirement along with providing nice thematics to your ability. While there's not anything inherently wrong with that I'd like to see an elaboration on how it sound plays into the combination of the abilities and attacks, is meant to be a separate effect or is to enhance the main one in a certain way?

I believe I made the correct edits but I may have misunderstood how I should have tweaked some things. If I did I apologize. I added in what the different effects in the spells relatively close to the top of each of the descriptions for I think most. I tried to keep them close to the mention of the spell types when mentioned. Most of them are just for effect though. Please let me know if I Need to change anything else and I will happily do so!

The Deepest Cut- For this ability, you listed that there's three shards of ice it seems like, C-tier abilities are limited to being split into two parts as it splits the damage, both shards would do D-tier damage adding up to C-tier damage. Remember to include how much damage an ability does in its description.

Bubble The Pain- This is currently supplementary as defensive abilities are directly blocking or stopping attacks in a certain way while this is just affecting attacks. Since it's an effect like that it can last 2 posts as a C-tier ability and it would only affect abilities C-tier or lower. Should probably only slow it down by half as well.

Loss Of Time- The wording on this one confuses me a little, if the intention is to slow people down by using intense vibrations from sound magic you can just detail that shorter and describe the area the sound effects, as its sound it would most like be in the form of a 15m sphere in diameter turning to a half-sphere if on the ground and not flying.

Thank you for pointing out the shards I must have over looked that in the ability set up. Also been a while since ive been told roughly this is too weak please boost in a move lol. I also went with just a dome on the ground for loss of time cause it was more of what i had in mind.

so here's the thread let me know if i need to make any changes, there was a time where she used one spell to attack some people so i did count down the magoi for that since i wasn't sure if i needed to there or not.
