Job:

It wasn't long after Cyrus had met with his Dad that the soldiers from Sasan began to harass the patrons of the casino again.  Cyrus’s father stumbled home as Cyrus was training Rokusai., hysterically screaming about the invaders that had come back to the casino. Once again Cyrus sighed. Where was the man that he had travelled the world and wasn’t afraid of anything.  He could handle this even though he didn’t want to. This was a stupid endeavour but he was ready even if it means killing some more people.  Sighing again, he walked the long way back to the casino, Rokusai in tow hoping that he would be able to end this quickly. Going back into the casino, he saw yet again, the scene of people being tortured by zealous people who insist that they are the only way forward. That was something that Cyrus could not abide by.  Like the last time, he pleaded with the soldiers to stop with this and to let the patrons go. Though they seemed sympathetic, the were unwilling to budge,
”we have a sacred duty to the kingdom of Sasan,” one solider said with clear resolve.
“You need to leave" said Cyrus, concerned at the patron at the casino “Stop hurting these people, they don’t deserve it"

Yet again, the soldiers disregarded him and continued to assault their victims. Cyrus had to do something; he was tired of standing and watching people get hurt while he did nothing. Gathering up his courage yet again and picking up his wind spear, he confronted the soldiers, he had beaten them once before it shouldn’t be that hard to do it again. Well then, if you won’t listen to me then perhaps my scythe can do the talking for me. Though he didn’t believe what he said he made it as convincing as possible and prepared for battle. So naturally, when he was propelled outside by the Sasan’s shield for the second time, he sighed because he knew that Rokusai was going to be there for him. The soldiers ran out and Cyrus stood his ground with the help of his deer.

Using his techniques from Kou he tried to dispatch the interloping soldiers, which only got him so far, yet again the soldiers walled themselves off with a defensive manoeuvre but Rokusai was their to smash though it flanking them from behind.  Together they landed a pincer attack though, not all the soldiers were defeated in that bout. Rallying, the remaining soldiers used their spears to charge to subdue his steed, a minor set back, or so he thought.  Just then another set of soldiers suddenly appeared from the darkness of the allies of Balbadd, sprinting at him with a flickering charge. Before he knew it, Cyrus was face to face with another Sasan Solider, attempting to stab him, barely dodging out of the way of the attack, he still was nicked by the soldiers lance. Falling, had to really had to focus if he wanted to fight against these new adversaries.

“I see you brought some new friends to the party” said Cyrus with a wry smile on his face despite the trickle of blood dripping down his face. A small scrape from dodging the lance.  “If the heretics know their place then, the world is good.”  Cyrus didn’t seem to have much choice, he would have to use force yet again, “they never lean do they?” he said to himself as he began to charge up his scythe with magoi  he took out the last knight before turning his attention to the black cloaked soldiers that had made his way to him. There were five of them and only one of him. As Cyrus would, he sighed at the disadvantage. but he fought on anyways.

Cyrus turned his attention to the cloaked soldiers rushing up around him using their flickering charge technique for the second time. But as Cyrus tried to dodge away, another solider who was behind him managed to use his salt in the wound, jabbing him with a knife in his lower back before plunging his lance squarely in the place where the knife was. Cyrus screamed in agony. Which, prompted Rokusai, who he thought was out of commission from the other knights to suddenly spring into action yet again to please his master. Galloping at full speed, his deer charged at the man, knocking him in the air before turning to the other shadows.  Cyrus then took the opportunity to rush at the man that had injured him so. Gathering up his strength,  He used  his headless sky to finish off the Sasan solider. With a startleing display of his power and fury, the other solider and shadows began to realize their folly. Though they had fought and trained for so long, they were isolated, fighting only each other in practice instead, this young man has seen war and has fought to the bitter end on many occasions. They saw the fire in his eyes and his sheer will to win at all costs.

Though they outnumbered him still, Cyrus and his steed stood firm. Rokusai began to charge the three remaining shadows knocking them into the same area where the last three Sasan knights were. As the stag cornered them Cyrus, using all the strength he had left, used his wind scythe to slam all the knights into the nearby wall. Knocking them out for good. Cyrus smiled before he collapsed; the poison had taken its toll on him. Though his father would have an idea of the type of poison that was used but he wouldn’t make it in time. Even though Rokusai was weak as well, he managed to haul Cyrus to the inn that his father stayed at. Gaius Argentum came running out to help his eldest son. He had watched him grow into a young man who had grown so much and had saved him twice in the past few weeks. He managed to muster up something that could nullify many poisons. Thankfully the antidote did work and Cyrus stayed in his room recovering. He was tired, tired of fighting ridiculous fights like these getting himself injured for what seemed like no reason. Still, he would do it all over again if it meant protecting innocent people, who are just living their lives, from harm. As he slept in his bed, he knew that this wouldn’t end anytime soon only time would tell if these fanatics would learn and go back to where they came from or learn to coexist with the locals. Neither option seemed likely at this point. But Cyrus hoped so as he fell back into the abyss of slumber.

Couple of things, at the start of a thread you either need to mention all item and gear you have on you either in your post or in a spoiler like your last post. Post all skills/abilities in spoilers that were used in the same post. Watch the WC too, you came a little close. I'll approve it this time with these suggestions, go claim EXP
