Job Overview: In a country of wartorn cities and towns, a small and quaint village of people are hit by a famine. Taking action, a young boy named Trently makes an effort to help quell their hunger. By tying a trade deal with a large trader of crops, he could allow for the flow of fresh foods to better enter the starving village but he must first entice the trading company with a deal. The boy will need to figure out what the people of the village have to offer to the traders. To end the famine, he will come up with a deal the trading company will not want to decline.
The cruelty of war and its terrors swept through Kou, bringing bright red blazes of fire to wherever it went. The destruction reached far and wide. It affected everyone somehow. However, finally, after long and gruesome campaigns to end the rebellion, Yoshiro Zu were to have done it. In mere weeks, the war were to come to a stop. With very small pockets of resistance trying to continue, but nowhere near the scale it once was before the last battle. Peace had begun to ensue, but the affects of the war were felt nearly all across the nation. Trently had to help the people of the empire recover. "Just wait, I'll be there soon.." Preparing to set out in the morning to deliver some food to a starving famine struck village, Trently were to clench his fist tightly and hurry. He was loading his carpet up with some food, hoping to get to the village hopefully by the afternoon. His carpet stocked up with all the essential food rations, and some boar meat, Trently sat down at the front of the carpet and lifted off from the ground. Trently had to be careful the food did not fall off the carpet during flight to the village. With the map to the village in his right hand, he looked closely at where to go and would start flying there. Some of his guild that are awake waving farewell to him, Trently smiled and flew off into the air. He appreciated the support from those assholes. However, they were becoming better people than they were before. Trently was content those former bandits were improving and getting their morals right.
A windy morning was welcoming Trently to the skies, giving him some trouble flying, but he cared not and would brave the condition for the starving people's sake. His blue locks of hair wavered in the winds violently as he flew the flying carpet, facing the persistent gusts head on. Trently had to fly lower however if he did not want any of the food to fall down onto the ground below. Grasping his carpet tightly by its edges, he were to try to fly under the trees for some protection from the great winds of the land. As he were to lower his carpet, some food were to be blown off the carpet from a sudden gust of wind. This was bad! He had to quickly retrieve the lost food! Pursuing the dropped food, Trently flew his carpet after them and begun looking for them on the ground before any animals may get the chance to take it. He were to find one of the of three of the packaged food rations but the others must have been blown a little farther away. Picking up the food rations of rice, Trently placed them back on the carpet. Flying around to locate the rest of the food, he were to notice a deer trying to eat one of them. From his sheath, Trently drew his katana, and scared the deer away. Sprinting up to the rations, he retrieved it and put it back on the carpet where it would not fall very easily. Now all that what was left to find was a small we bag of apples. Looking around him and in the nearby area, he could not find anything though! Trently had no clue where it had went. Perhaps it was somewhere in the trees, he thought. So, flying up near the tree branches and searching closely with his eyes, the young man were to see it! It had gotten stuck on a small branch as he imagined. Anyhow, he were to have retrieved and found every lost food ration and place them back onto his flying carpet where they would not fall again easily. Careful as to not fly too high again until the winds stop blowing so hard, he were to fly his carpet low for the time being.
In his hands, the map and route to the village were to be observed closely. The miracle worker was nearing his destination, and it was coming time to set foot in the village and see how bad this famine in the village truly was. A nervous sweat running down his forehead, he could only hope they were okay. It was tragic that a lot of the empire was like this, poversh and starving. Trently would do his very best to help his nation recover from this civil war that had plagued it and its people. Flying to where the village lies on the map, he were to see a half of a mile long village atop a mountain looking out before a great forest with a river nearby. It had a small unused and relatively barren fort located within the village. Perhaps the small fort was used temporarily by the rebellion during the civil war. It could be of use if Trently wanted to set up a stronger guild presence in this region. A small city was located on the other side of the river, a good few miles from here. It could be a nice trade route. Anyhow, enough of looking at geography. Trently would observe the village from a bird's eye view for a quick moment before coming down to the ground, seeing the situation.
Standing up from where he sat on his carpet, he were to set his foot within the village. A young villager came to meet Trently and ask him if he is from the guild that he had just gone to by to get help. The guild leader responded with "Yes, and I have brought food for the cause!", undoing the tie on a large bag of rice. Trently were to show the young man what he came with and would be giving to the village for the time being until he solves the village famine. The young man were to call the village together to be given the rations of food Trently has brought with him. It was quite bad it would seem, as many of the village was quite skinny and thin, some looking like near skeletons. This was worse than Trently anticipated. However, he would help the village with this famine they have found their people in and not stop until it is solved. As a mountain village, much of their income and food may have come from hunting and fishing by the river nearby. They say though that the river nearby was overfished by the rebellion when they had set up a fort here. Not only that but fish alone did not provide all their nutrients they required to be healthy. Animals had begun to become very scarce here as well. A lot of their main sources of income gone and rarely any fish to catch for a while until the fish repopulate, they were having a lot of issues acquiring resources to sell and trade. Trently was astonished it had got this bad, all cause a small part of the rebellion had stationed their men here. He will need to explore the nearby area to look for resources to profit off of. Meat and fish were not cutting it anymore it appeared.
The village eating, Trently smiled. He were to first start exploring the mountain to see what could be done. Perhaps there are minerals that can be collected from this mountain region. With an almost untouched mountain close by, deposits of ores and minerals may be present in the area if he looks hard enough. This is a very rocky and iron heavy terrain, it could be a good area to mine for ores. Trently had ventured lightly through this rough and barren mountain region at one point and seen metals a bit farther back where he came. If he can find anywhere to mine some minerals a mile of here, he could start a mining and trading company in this area. Trently would set out on an expedition to find a large ore and mineral deposit worth starting a mine here. He were to tell the village of his proposal for them to begin mining for him for huang if any good areas to begin a mine can be found around here. They were to agree if working for him meant a good pay. Trently assured that he would pay them fairly, and great if he can find profitable ores and minerals to mine. As he were to set out, he were to begin prospecting the mountain and its minerals. Trently found that the farther he traversed into the mountain terrain, the more valuable minerals that he were to find. By fate, this mountain was truly holding precious minerals! How could they not have ever seen this? It did not even take quite a lot of walking from the village, only a mile far. They were so held up with fishing and hunting but precious metals to profit from were right here all along! It was settled, just like that! He were to begin a trading company and trade these precious metals for profit! Trently could relocate some of the guild here to help start the trading company. The empty fort shall be claimed by Trently and his guild and repurposed into a trading outpost for the guild and company. He were to better merge the company and guild later into one greater guild, focusing around mercenary assistance and trade! Trently would not dawdle around however, the young man had to get to work and set up a trade agreement with a company if he sought to get this poversh mountain village back in shape! Upon news of this grand discovery, the village were to begin calling this guild of Trently's "Miracle" and thus the name of the guild was established. The village were to begin helping Trently excavate the precious metals from the mountain in the coming days, receiving a pay from Trently's guild. A path were to be paved out toward the mine for traveling from back and forth from and to the mine, and like that the village were to be hired by Trently's guild. A couple days later, Trently were to have begun trading his first caravan full of metals consisting of largely iron and silver, with some gold. He were to be able to now pay the village pretty well, helping them get a trade deal that exchanged a portion of the metals mined for crops and food, ending the village famine.
