Minku Tao [NPC]

Description: He wears a jaguar head as his crown adorn with feathers. A bronzed saw blade gripped tightly in his right hand and gold shield decorated with fur and feathers. Around his neck a specialized pendant. Tattoos covers his Torso, legs and left arm. A thick bold yellow ink covers his left arm and left side of his torso. Jaguar paw prints tracked across his legs and left side. He stands at a whopping 6’11 300 lbs. Minku Tao has a sturdy build accompanied by body builderesk muscles.

His voice low and assertive. He isn’t not rude, however given the reclusive nature of his small tribe it’s become hard for him to mingle well with any outsider. He’s kind to his tribe, but viewed as a savage to every passerby. He has no hestitation in attacking someone in their territory. He is a battle seasoned warrior. He’s battle Savy and is a great tactician.

Appearance: The blade is made of bronzed metal osmium. It has jagged edges. The blades ‘spikes’ look akin to a Jaguars Teeth. The weapon is 80 cm in total length.

Trait Description: Through the training of ones pain tolerance and years of fighting the beasts of the wild Minku Taos body has built up a tolerance to pain.
Trait Effect: Minku Taos body has hardened allowing him reduce the damage sustained from B-Tier or lower ranked attacks by one D-Tier.

Description:

Holding his shield in his left hand with his weapon in his right Minku Tao attacks  his target. If they are initially defending Minku Tao breaks their defenses using his shield. He then attacks his target with a vicious horizontal attack with he weapon. If his target isn’t defending he stabs forward wkth his weapon, while using his shield to counter any attack.The attack will deal only D Tier damage, and the Shield can only block a D tier amount of damage. Unless, the ability is sustained.

The only thing I have to say to this is that Tank doesn't really work as a trait on this site mainly because we don't have health pools. It would be more beneficial for this trait to act as damage mitigation rather than a damage threshold increase. Think like the Imuchakk racial trait where damage below B-tier is reduced by one D-tier. So you're unable to be harmed by D-tier cuts and bruises and C-tier damage is taken as if it were D-tier instead.

Also, for the C-Tier ability, it's Offensive and Defensive. That being said, there must be a reference in the ability that says he deals D-Tier damage when he attacks and can only counter D-Tier damage with the shield.

It's been brought to my attention that I missed a couple things during my grading. First off, the ability needs to be listed as Offensive and Defensive. Secondly, you have two abilities in one: a fully offensive ability with two hits, and a offensive/defensive version which blocks and attacks. You need to pick between shield bash followed by an attack or the attack while holding a defense simultaneously. The requirements should also have some kind of physical tell or stance he needs to meet before he can execute.
