For a long period of time (about 6 and a half years) everything was good, nothing horrible happened, his family lived in happiness, This changed however, when a man named Mel Ju, who hated magicians, started to hate his father specifically. His father was targeted, and Mel started to gain followers in his statements against Magicians. Until eventually, Mel's group tried to kick his father out. One of the members of Mel's group, tried to assassinate his father. His father, in surprise, used wind magic cut his eye and knock him out (All in one motion). The member, when he woke up, scurried away. But ended up reporting it to the government of Kou (or whatever order is in charge). Mel, twisting what happened, ended up framing his father for attacking an innocent citizen. And was sent out of the kingdom for 3 months to reflect. Tai's mother, who was labeled a traitor for helping a supposed "terrorist", acted in anger. She wanted to use her rank in the nobility to banish all of them. His father, however, being peaceful. Said not to and not to resent him. Because he had his reasons. Tai's father supposedly went back to Magnostadt. His mother, who was not a magician, agreed with his father that they should separate for the time being, as it would be easier for her to not get accused, and for his father to not have to watch out for his mother as a magician while being targeted by some. And as a time to reflect. Tai, however, was told by his father to find his own path. And not follow someone with bad credit. Tai is still considered part of the nobility, but has some dirt on his family name. His mother, unable to follow his father, decided to disappear without a trace in anger. This brings us to today, Tai lives back and forth between Kou and the Jade Dragon mountains. He trains with the small magic abilities his father taught him as a kid. However not too many people know about as Mel's group might brand him as strange, weird.
Role-Play Sample: It was a cold evening, the busy streets of Kou bustled about as it usually did. Tai sat in a tree in a small park/garden area. He watched as small children ran around, chasing each other, without a care in the world. Tai sat and meditated, calming himself and listening to nature. Suddenly, a loud rustle could be heard, Tai opened his eyes to find a masked figure jumping at him, holding two knives. Tai tumbled out of the tree just in time to dodge the attack. His attacker slid across the dirt and stopped themselves as they  came in contact with a bush. Tai took a sturdy branch from the ground and threw it at the attacker. A jagged edge of the branch connected with the attacker's thin mask. The mask shattered, revealing a man with a sinister grin. With dark, hollow eyes and a thin scar that went past his right eye. "Miss me?" the man said with a cackle.
