A gentle breeze floats upon the sea it rushes up to hit the sails of a ship pushing toward its destionation. A young man stands on the bow holding a rope and hanging halfway off the small vessel. He smiles and as he does the breeze moves, blowing his hair into his face. The young man using his free hand, brushes the hair from his face showing his golden brown eyes once again. The waves crash against the vessel as it gets closer and closer to the port. A few men on the deck yet to one other readying all hands for the docking. The start pulling on the lines, dropping an anchor and pulling up the sails. Aster the young man watches as his old friends and family do what all good sailors do, but he wasn't a sailor anymore he told to leave. Because of that he was leaving the ship here in the port that connected the world to the land of The Kou Empire.

As the ship hits the port the young man cant hold his excitement, he jumps off landing on the wood below, Aster waves to the people who had helped him reach this land. The young man smiled to his friends and family once last time before taking off into the crowded streets. Aster took in his surroundings, In all the traveling his family had done they had never come to Kou, and after being kicked off his ship he figured Kou might be good place for him to start seeing the world. Not as a sailor but as an adventurer.

"Woah! This place is... well its like most ports, but" he took in a small breath and then let it out in his excitement with a slight chuckle

"Its truly a marvelous place" Aster kept a grin from cheek to cheek as he looked at every building he saw, and as he saw the buildings he saw the people. There dressings where different then most he seen up to this point, but that didn't bother him in fact it just made him more excited, and in all his excitement he wasn't watching where he was going.

It was morning going on Midday. Nahvi was gettting some much needed sleep after healing from the wounds her sister caused the day before. One thing they knew she was in the city. the bad news was... Nahvi was the prey. Valuna attacked at random times as well which didn't make it any better. It was moreso thanks to the man who bought her shiny stone from her.He had given her quite the sum of money for such a tiny rock. If it really was super valuable why didn't she just keep it. The fanalis sighed as the gigantic dog lay under her like her pillow and the tiger cub lie right in her arms cuddled like a baby. There they slept at the inn, inside of their room on the wooden floor. It was how they often slept when searchign for a target. They could never stay in one place for too long or else they'd risk losing their prey.

The girl and her companions however would soon wake up. The tiger cub licked her face, letting the red haired girl know it was time to go.The Bear dog did the same only he succeeded in drenching her face with his saliva. She gave her dog an annoyed look and told them to wait for her outside the bath house whil she washed up. Like good companions they obeyed and waited. Once the girl was refreshed and ready to go, she'd mount the claymore upon her back and head out. She was right around the docks at this time when suddenly Zakad the bear dog, went wandering around. Nahvi spotted him hovering over Aster and she'd scold him a tad in front of the man.

"Ugh Zakad I thought I told you not to go wandering off like that." The dog sulked and put his paws over his eyes, trying to be cute... and it worked. No matter how hard she tried to train Zakad, she could never truly get mad at him. "Oh come here you!" She'd give her dog a big hug, nearly disappearing in his fluffy fur in the meantime. The dog would stand right back up and she'd release her hug on the dog that towered over them. She'd focus her attention onto Aster and apologize for her companions behavior.

"i'm sorry about Zakad. He's a rather curious one." She said petting him. "I'm Nahvi Corvus. It's a pleasure to meet you!"

The the breeze continued Aster felt it blow on his face. So that his hair didn't get in his eyes again he began to turn around and just his left foot hit the ground so did he. A large furry beast, had tackled him. At first Aster was in shock, then he started to sneeze as the hair got into his nose.

"Ahhhh! Get... OFF! GET OFF!" he started to scream as he could then see it wasnt trying to hurt him just sniffing his hair.  Before he could say anything else he heard a girl call to the dog.
"Ugh Zakad I thought I told you not to go wandering off like that."
As the words were spoken he could see the dogs head turn
   "Oh come here you!"
He started to get up to see the woman calling for the dog, her hair was not unlike his a bright red. He slowly continued as he looked at the woman. She barely scolded the dog but Aster didnt mind. He continued to watch as she hugged him and at one point almost vanished in his fur. Before long Aster was standing again the woman looked at him with a slight smile and apologized for he dog, and then stated her name as she pet him.

Aster smiled back at the woman standing before him, and extended his hand out to her.
"The name's Aster Rhea, mmm but you can me Aster." He keeping the smile on his face he looked over at the dog that had tackled him moments before
"Its a pleasure to meet both of you, and dont worry about him. Im sure he was curious about me." With his free hand he rubbed the back of his head and let out a slight chuckle
"Im pretty new around her so.." He stopped speaking and just smiled at the woman once more. His hand still out for her to take, not knowing if that considered rude in this country.

Boring. Boring. Boring. Boring. Boring! Nothing fun happening. No doubt, action plundered the streets. Even so, it brought him no joy. Not a single thing to do other than to wander aimlessly without a spark of some interest. Nothing met his high standards of fun. The people whom he passed all seemed rather dull and inferior. Unfortunately, killing without end ants who could only struggle rather hopelessly against him grew tiresome. The thought lost its luster and glory after a day or two. He'd know. The last town he traveled from remained almost devoid of life. Those who had survived his fun, murderous rampage decided to leave the forgotten town out of fear for their lives. Since the town barely posed any significance - rather it acted more as a hindrance than anything else - nobody bothered to actually attempt to really track down the culprit of the mass murder. Only a few people knew about the massacre anyway. It wasn't like the public would really care.

What might excite him...? An opponent... Blood... His own blood... Hee hee, let it pour. Cover the streets with red. Stain it with a mark that would set him in stone. Those vipers that carry that sweet, sharp, mind-blowing fire tackle him with all their strength. Let him have the privilege to witness the growth of scarlet red roses upon the skin of others. Let his eyes soak the beauty of the scene. All around the battle scene, everything is red and fallen. Disgust, fear, he's not searching for those emotions. They do not bring him pleasure, nor do they harm him. All he cares about is red. Vivid red. The scene depicts devastation but so long as that red exists, he does not care if he just destroyed the homeland he refuses to recall. He does not care if perhaps, once, it was a sight to behold. Blood splattered everywhere - his blood to be specific - excites him. Makes him feel alive. He absolutely loves it.

Damn wind! Making his hair go all crazy! For what felt like the hundred billionth time, he brushed his hair out of his face. His hair enjoyed posing difficulty after difficulty typically and the added factor of wind blew the problem out of the park. He swore the breeze was taunting him. If it were possible, he would have already picked a fight with the breeze. How dare it mess with his already messy hair! For some reason, the wind felt stronger near the port. Even so, the port generally carried passengers with them. Often, foreigners would appear and offer enough entertainment for him to last at least a day without growing too bored. They weren't usually too exciting, but they sufficed. However, he wanted an opponent that didn't just "suffice". He wanted an opponent that embodied Death, an opponent that gave him those delicious chills. Yeah, call him crazy, but he couldn't stand the mediocracy of the busy streets. They weren't busy in a fun way. There was a pattern that consisted through the streets. Patterns were no fun.

Screaming? And yet it did not disturb the flow of the crowd. Curious. He glanced around, searching for the source of the cry. He allowed the crowd to carry him like the wind. He grumbled discontentedly, realizing he might have missed whatever happened. By now he wandered aimlessly like before. Wait... Something caught his eye. A tiny irregularity in the flow of the crowd. Something interesting! He grinned and began twirling his weapon above his head, creating a loose opening among the sea. "Aye! Coming through!" he shouted. He grinned widely, his eyes twinkling with excitement and hope. Perhaps? Something fun? He burst into the abnormal space - only to be sorely disappointed. Nothing exciting was happening. Just an animal loving girl and a red-haired boy. The color of red flashed in his eyes. His grin shrank to a cold, jealous smile. Red. How pretty. So much more pretty than his own, full, lifeless red hair. As he focused on the boy, a strong scent hit his nose, causing him to wrinkle it. The sea. Fish. On the red-haired boy. How disgusting.

"Or perhaps that dog likes fish or something," he interrupted.

He dropped his spear to his side. He smiled loosely, still slightly interested. He might as well find something fun about them since he went through the trouble to find them, right?

Just as fast as she'd meet Aster another would appear from behind them. This man was also a new face who simply made his comment and stood there. "Oh Well Zakad eats about almost any animal that we catch or is at least fully grown. Fish however are free game for him which is why I think he likes Aster so much." At these words she'd resume her focus upon Zakad to find him sniffing the red haired human boy vehemently. He'd like his face a couple times to which Nahvi would have to stop him. "No! Zakad! You don't like strangers without permission. Your tongue literally covers the entire upper half of a regular sized adult human being!" After Scolding the dog, Kuzata, the snow white tiger popped out from the brown jungle of hair that mounted Zakad's Head. "Oh and this is Kuzata! He's blind in one eye but he's still adorable. Eventually i'll teach him how to fight and he'll be Great Beast even with a blind Eye." She'd take the white tiger cub from out of Zakad's Fur and would carry him around. He'd make purring noises as cub played with the red strands of hair that dangled from Nahvi's head. "If you're looking for a peaceful welcome though you two have found it here. However outside of this port and closer to the main city there's a slight problem." Nahvi would sigh heavily before continuing.  "Well around these parts, tensions are a little high! After all there is a Civil war about to start. Everyone in this city is so worked up over which side people are on these days." She'd sigh and pet her dog a little more. "I wish people would realize that fighting isn't always the answer." She would give the new guy an appalled look. "Oh I'm sorry I've never told you my name. I'm Nahvi Elumin Delos Corvus. However everyone just calls me Nahvi."

Aster heard someone else speak but he didn’t say anything, there was something behind what the person was saying but Aster couldn’t really tell what it was. before he couldn’t on it further the dog began to lick at his face. it was huge and it almost felt like it was trying to eat his face off. Nahvi jumped in to save him and stopped the beast from licking him further. Aster took both his hands and wiped the remaining drool from his face. he fixed his hair and then smiled at Nahvi and then the dog
"Aren’t you just a big softy" he kept his smile and saw a little tiger pop out from his fur. Aster smiled at the tiger then looked at the other person who was just standing there weapon drawn, he heard Nahvi identify herself and felt it was only right he do the same.

"And my name is Aster Rhea, but most just call me Aster. What your name" he spoke with a smile, while this person just unsettle Aster something he learned in all his travels, was how it was hard to combat those with a smile.

He listened to the girl - Nahvi - berate her dog. A great, wonderful bear. He wondered if it might be used to fight. Although how indeed would it fight? By licking the enemy to death? This large dog seemed to prefer such a method to anything else. Also, Zakad? What sort of name was that? Names were unfamiliar things. Like a whole new species to him. He understood them minimally. He heard names define a person. If such were true, then had he been a different person in the past? He couldn't really say. What indeed could he even recall from his past? He barely remembered anything besides eternal wandering. Yet he was certain he had another name besides the one he stole. He just... couldn't recall anything about it.

What a stupid perspective on life, he noted. Where existed the fun of peace? He only had one word to describe peace: boring. The sheer boredom of peace drove him to avoid peace at all costs. Not even Death successfully chased him away from the excitement of fights. Quiet boredom filled his eyes. He regarded Nahvi as nothing worth finding. Her view on war opposed his own, causing a disinterest in him. But nonetheless, he would attempt to explain why people resorted to war so easily. He thought for a moment how he might delve into an explanation. He halted. His natural impulsiveness kicked in. He found things often went better if he just just, rather than think anything through.

"Because peace is boring. There's nothing exciting about it. And, well, how would you like to live your life in stupid monotony. That and peace only provides benefits to the rich. The poor stay poor and the rich stay rich. But with war, there's a chance to elevate in the workings of social damnations," he explained.
