On a nice and sunny day a ship arrived in Balbadd carrying with it an ill omen for the country. When the ship arrived at the dock only on person walked off of it, a short and elderly man. The man smiles to himself as he thinks about what he left behind on the ship. If anyone were to walk onto the ship they would find that all of the crew and passengers were dead and the deck of the ship was soaked with their blood. The ill omen that the ship had brought was known as Silva Kaida.

"Kekeke. What a lovely way to start of a trip to a new country," He says to himself was he walks around the dock. He wonders what the port city of Balbadd will hold for him.

It had been just over a week or so since arriving in Balbadd. He hadn’t made himself known about, or gotten around to do much sightseeing. Just another sunny day like any other day. Walking alongside the docks, thinking about fishing possibly to try it for a first time. Many ships arriving, and many leaving just the same. Looking closely from a distance, Niklaus noticed only a old man walking off the dock, into the docks area.

Strange? Maybe, but none seemed to have took it into observation for only a single person to get off a medium sized ship by himself. Walking on, Niklaus keep to himself moving forward along the docks. Passing by the old silver haired man, looking from the corner of his eye to analyze him. Whistling as he came up to a fishing vendor.

“ What shall you get today, Lad. “

Just looking, haven’t done this before. Give me some time.

Niklaus, wasn’t really indecisive. He just dislike talking for no reason. For now he’s just going over fishing tools, and items he may or may not purchase.

[About an hour earlier...]

"Are you heading out right now, Lady Amira? I might be of use to you if you think the newbie is going to make a scene." Anku would ask, her head tilting as she watched her master move towards the front entrance.

Amira couldn't help but chuckle at the girl's gesture. "I know that you're new to this household, dearie, but I can handle this just fine. I was actually father's go-to girl when it came to retrieving rookies back in the day. I'm grateful for the gesture though, so maybe you can come with me next time."

Saddened by her mistress' rejection, Anku would take a seat near the stairwell. "I'll make sure to prepare the tea for your return. Sorry if I spoke out of line.." The girl couldn't help but feel somewhat troubled by Amira's response to her offer. She had been working as a servant for some time now, but this was the first time one of her masters had insisted on doing something on their own. It was shocking, but also somewhat impressive to her. Afterall, her previous master in Heliohapt was quite the lazy one.

Amira would sling a fancy-looking fishing rod over her shoulder, glancing back at the white-haired girl behind her. "I'm just going to spend a little bit of alone time fishing before the boat arrives with them. We have plenty of food, obviously, but it's been a while since I've done it. It just sounded like something to pass the time, that's all." With her quick explanation, the silvery blue-haired woman would make her leave.

[Present...]

Letting out a yawn, Amira watched as the boat arrived. She wasn't expecting to be waiting an extra thirty minutes for it to arrive, so she almost fell asleep while fishing. It wasn't as fun as she remembered, though it was somewhat relaxing. Perhaps, too relaxing?

Her eyes shifted towards the front deck, waiting to see her shipment make an appearance. However, to her surprise, only an elderly man would walk out from the boat. She would wait a good minute for the others, but no one else seemed to be leaving it. Something strange was going on, something strange indeed.

Amira couldn't help but overhear the old man talking to himself. A lovely way to start the trip to a new country? What could he have possibly meant by that? It wouldn't take her very long to start piecing these things together.

"Your first time in Balbadd, huh? It's quite the beautiful country without a doubt. Though, I'd like to visit more of the world one of these days." Amira would say in a clear tone of voice, adjusting the line to her fishing rod. A devious smirk would appear on the corner of her face, as if to greet a fellow killer.

Silva could feel a few pairs of eyes on him as he walks off the ship. It amused him to know that there were a few people who seemed observant and at least somewhat intelligent even though he was not sure who was watching him.

He would see a young man looking at some fish when he would hear a young, feminine voice talking to him. He would turn seeing an attractive girl with blue hair, probably an Imuchukk, smirking at her. He found himself intrigued by her devious smirk.

"Yes, it is my first time, or at least I think it is." he would say in a soft but playful tone mumbling the last part. "If you get the chance you should. My job takes me all around the world, I could let you travel with me some if you like." he would say casually flirting with her with a smirk on his face.

“ What kind of bait are you looking for? Tuna, tackle bait, minnows, or just a little rubber bob? “

You know what. Nevermind. Looks like fishing isn’t about to be for me.

Niklaus, didn’t care about the vendor. He just walked over to the other side of the dock where the mysterious boat had docked. Gripping his fishing pole by the handle, reeling it back and tossing the line into the ocean below. He wasn’t much of a fisher, but he was going fishing and he was listening into the conversation between the old man, and now silvery blue haired women. She looked quite pale in comparison to the tanned nature of citizen around here.

Amira couldn't help but chuckle at the old man's gesture. "Sorry, but I don't think I'll be jumping on the offer to travel with some strange old man I just met, heh." Upon saying that, she'd cast out her fishing line into the sea once more. She hadn't been very lucky with catching anything just yet, but that was most likely because she was so inexperienced that she hadn't even added some sort of bait to the hook.

"How about you, over there? I've noticed that you've been eyeing the two of us for a little while now. Would you take up this old man's offer to travel the world? I mean, he could be some sort of deranged killer for all we know." Amira would say with a giggle, placing a dainty hand in front of her mouth as she did.

He chuckles at her reply to his comment. "That is a wise reasoning." he would say before tunring his head over to the young man she was talking to. "Be careful when you spy on someone young man. You may end up seeing something you wish you could forget. Kekeke" He would say laughing with a grin on his face, but his eyes showd that he was serious and would kill him if he angered him.

He would laugh again at the girls comment, "Oh believe me beautiful, there is nothing deranged about me and my killings." He would say grinning not afraid to let them know what he does since these two would probably find out soon enough.

Niklaus, now found his way into their conversation. Keeping his head low, and hands even lower in case the old man got funny. Reeling back in his line from the ocean. He turn to officially address the both of them. He gave them a shrug at first, than a raise from his eyebrow. They probably wouldn’t understand his gestures, so he would have to actually speak. Leaving his hands at his side, especially his right hand close to his bow.

What do you call a Old man, and a Young lady? A unplanned mishap.

He hadn’t used one of his best puns, but it was one nevertheless. Rubbing his chin, he’d take into account travelling, and being a deranged killer. Quite an astonishing thing to openly admit. Niklaus, really felt his blood boiling, and his hands getting sweaty, and itchy.

Cough* Besides… his killing. No, I wouldn’t travel with him. For an old man, you do really seem to hit on the pale ones?

Going over appearances openly now not just in thought. Niklaus, stood a good 10 meters from the both of them, but I’m sure they could clear that gap easily? Maybe, maybe not. Best thing he could do is keep his distance, and jokes armed.

“Beautiful? You sure know how to impress a young girl, grandpa.” Amira couldn’t help but laugh at the old man’s cheesiness. While it was obvious that he was up to no good, he also wasn’t exactly giving off any sort of intense vibes at the time either. For someone who had just slaughtered an entire boat of people, he was incredibly calm. There was no doubt in her mind that he had been doing this for a very long time.

“It’s a form of art, you know? The kind of work that you and I do. I can’t help but feel admiration towards it. I can’t say that I completely agree with your methods, but I still respect them. Just ending a life isn’t enough for me...there needs to be more to it.” Amira’s already devious grin seemed to worsen as she talked about the topic, turning into some much more sinister. If she was to not cause a scene, she needed to calm down as soon as possible.

Amira watched as the boy she had called over move closer to them, finally deciding to speak up for himself. As an opener, the mystery boy decided to use an absolutely rancid pun. As bad as it was though, Amira was quite grateful for it. It managed to calm her bloodlust, while also serving as something to laugh about.

“Wow, that was something. I take it that you’re some sort of jester, yes?” Amira would respond to the boy’s silliness. The image and smell of this boy was not like that of the old man’s, he was not a killer like the two of them. He seemed to be much more innocent...someone that she could in-fact play with. A brand new toy, waiting to be destroyed.

“So, what do you call yourselves? You may call me Amira, as that is the name my father gave me when I was born into this world.”

He would nod as she talks about killing seeing that his hunch was right and that she too was a killer. He could tell that she had a little bit of experience but still had a long ways to go. "Kekeke. I agree, killing is indeed an art. An art that most people do not understand. The work on the ship I came in was far from my best work." He would say seeing the bloodlust begin to take over her not surpised that she cant control it.

He looks over at the boy. "I hit on most pretty, young things" he would say before facing the girl once more. "My name is Silva Kaida, professional assassin." he wpuld reply moving closer to her. "So, now that we are aquainted how about a smooch." He would say then make a kissy face and lean closer to Amira.

Oh my, a jester? ” He said in a discouraged tone. He felt his jokes have been offended, possibly that slick tongue of her’s was for directing insults. Niklaus, fiddled his fingers around now fluster, and even more perplexed. Moving one hand along the sleeve of his coat squeezing on it to calm himself trying to make it appear like he was uneasy, but in reality this didn’t phase him.

Y’all may address me as, Niklaus. You may be killers, but I suppose earnest, and properly mannered? Say the less. ” Copying the slick, and insulting nature to a small degree like Amira, he wasn’t going to be good at it first, but as they continued to speak, he could attempt to get better at it. Speaking of ‘say the less’, Sliva’s manners towards women, or girls in generally seemed to lack a certain restraint. Looking in how the old man openly asked for a smooch made, Niklaus stomach turn over. Hopefully, Amira had the same reaction, or even better played it out, and curved the old man once he got close enough.

"Don't get me wrong, Mr. Assassin. It's an honor to meet you, it truly is, but you can't possibly expect me to follow-up on that kiss." Amira smirked, showing off a row of sharpened teeth. She had manipulated them beforehand just in case a situation like this would arise, because to put it simply; she knows a creep when she sees one.

"All jokes aside, what brings you to our country, Mr. Silva? Got a job here or something?" Her eyes would then dart to the right, in order to get a good view of the boy. "Niklaus, huh? That's a foreign sounding name, not around from here I take it? I'm also surprised that you haven't taken off by now, knowing what me and grandpa here are capable of." Amira would let out a sigh built-up from her boredom, drawing back the fishing line in order to place the pole down on the ground next to her. She ought to bring bait next time, or else she's never going to find excitement in fishing.

The old man chuckles as he sees the girl's sharpened teeth. He assumes that she is a manipulator, he hasn't crossed the paths of many of them but he knew enough to spot one. "Perhaps at another time when we are better acquainted then my fair lady." He would say then answer her question about why he was in Balbadd. "Well you see that is kinda of a long story. Let's just say that I am looking for a man by the name of Genos. But while I am here I am open for business. So if any of you need someone dead I will be glad to do it, for a price of course." He would say before handing them both his own business cards listing how to find him. If Niklaus takes his card Silva will speak to him in a dark and serious voice, "Now a nice young boy like yourself isn't going to do anything foolish after you depart us like telling the guards that I am in the country. As he says this, he stares at him coldly as if to say that if he answers wrong he will be a dead man.
