Job Details:

Aseroth, sitting inside a bar alone and by himself, drinking some apple juice in a beer mug nonchalantly looking around the small bar with his back on the counter and arse in the stool. Speaking to the barkeep, " Have you heard any good word about a new job? " he' speak in a cheerful tone looking to get a little extra huang for personal reasons. Barkeep replying with " I hear there was some  bandits attacking a mine shaft in a near by town, a inn in trouble with a wizard and some more rebellion issues mostly. " replying to Aseroth, cleaning off a small beer mug with a old rag looking at the back of the red hair and golden eyed man. " Hmm, that inn sounds fun, where do you think I'll find it, umm mister?? " asking for the barkeep name and the inn's location.

" Its Reggie, but that's besides the point, I have a good friend there in the small little residents being terrorized, could you go help them? " replied the barkeep to Aseroth. His blood boiling at the though of heading out of Kou to fight, discover, or solve a issue beside inside the city. " Alright, I understand wh-...? " speaking to him as the barkeep cut in quickly saying the name " Aleswell Inn, is a small little bordering town for kou, should only take a few hours to get there. " the barkeep moving down the counter to another customer. Leaving a few haungs paying for his apple juice with a tip for the information, heading out the door into the moderate weather of Kou, the sun risen high showing its noon time. Walking the street, his sword Baël, rocking at his side back and forth with a swishing noise , each step making a tapping noise as well traveling toward the gates of Kou.

Arriving at the gates in serval minutes, Aseroth chatted with a few guard than headed out on the path told to him from a fellow guard walking the path to get Aleswell Inn, hearing it's near a ruin called Caractacus. Not knowing what that ruin was, he only got more pumped seeing this as an opportunity to test his skills in the outside world. The rocky nature of the path becoming more and more rigged and narrow as he walked, the forest getting dense as well leaving little shine from the  noontime sun. Taking in the beautiful scenery Ign nature as he'd travel through the woods, trees covered in moss, vines dropping through small gap clearings and small bushes big enough for hiding behind. The path clearing up and expanding once more, the glass looking firmly trimmed as he got close to a large clearing showing up in the distance.

Aseroth dragging his feet across the dirt, seeing how rough and hard the ground beneath him was, standing in the middle of the clearing. Scanning the scenery a small plot of crops and what seemed to be in Inn and a dark house presented themselves surrounded by small tree covered hills tops. Jogging 5 m/s over to the inn, stepping on the porch making a large creaking noise with one step. " Hello? " was all he said taking note of the surroundings.

The reports concerning the Haunted Inn had drawn the interest of one Aquila Lukios. At first, the gossip she had been overhearing seemed unimportant and boring. She had nearly given up on her quest to find something fun to pass the time when they had changed the subject. Such news they possessed, she had not been aware of before. As such, it caught her attention. Because she had little to go by, she interrogated the gossipers and a few (unlucky) people who happened to be around. They did not hesitate to give Aquila the information she desired. They were kind enough to spill everything, but most importantly, where the haunted inn was located. There were many things they blabbed that was of no importance to Aquila, and after she had extracted information from her sources, she sped off to reach the inn before the sun ever fell.

The door of the inn had swung open easily. Aquila was offered no resistance when she made her appearance. Considering her dramatic nature, she was quite disappointed to discover silence meet her arrival. Not a single soul seemed to be present, much to her confusion. She was certain that the inn's business would have slowed thanks to the rumors. She hadn't expected that it would completely halt! Somehow or another, it never occurred to her that the inn would completely lose business, thanks to the so-called magician who had even turned himself invisible. She had imagined a few remaining people. She hadn't expected complete silence and a seemingly abandoned inn.

Or at least, that was her first impression on the inn. But as she began to slink her way around the building, she felt the supernatural at work. All around her, she gradually became more sensitive to the almost unnoticeable signs of others. Even if it seemed liked it at a quick glance, all around Aquila were invisible people. She began to catch the signs of their movements as they attempted to sneakily move around her. Her eye caught little signs of movement. The air around recent action seemed to change slightly in appearance, something that took great observation skills to notice. She was young and impatient. With her intellect, came a sense of arrogance, and with such arrogance, came a sense of superiority to others, and with such sense of superiority, came the habit of rushing important things.

She did not expect the tale of the haunted inn to attract any others. So when the creaking noise alerted her of the newcomer's presence, Aquila had almost flinched at it. She quickly composed herself, not wanting to appear ruffled by the surprise of someone new arriving. Aquila being Aquila was slightly annoyed that it was a man - one she had encountered before no less - that stepped through the threshold of the door. Slightly disappointed, Aquila debated on revealing herself to Aseroth. Thanks to her location hidden in the shadows, Aseroth had yet to notice her. She was tempted to just stay in the shadows forever until he left, but she ultimately decided against it. With a frustrated 'huff', she slithered silently into the center of the room to draw the attention of the Fanalis man to her.

"There are people around us. You may have not noticed them yet. They're invisible," Aquila explained.

Instantly taking in his surrounding as before, noticing Aquila dead center of the inn. His eyes widing to her speaking at first, having to play it back in his head twice to take it in, walking a few steps passed the door. Looking at the rusted boards benethe him than back up at Aquila thinking up a few words to say in greeting the female from pervious altercations in Kou streets. " Nice meeting you again.. Madam Aquila, you seem quite well informed about Aleswell Inn, if I may say " speaking to her while gazing around wondering when the invisible people would start attempting to ask for assistance as his contacts said they did. " Could anyone inside here possibly give us the directions of this wizard? Well 'us' if your welling to work with me Aquila? " asking if she wanted to team up together.

Pacing around the room thinking of strategies for the wizard knowing this is a unknown factor he hasn't experience before. Bumping into a fairly tall person turned invisible easily knocking him over as he paced hearing a large thud happen as an stool fell to the flooring of the old wood. Aseroth, quickly apologizing for knocking him over awaiting Aquila responce as he got a small map from a invisible person whom walked over to him which gave out the wereabouts of the wizard to both him and Aquila.

Aquila was somewhat irritated that the man, Aseroth, would even consider him even important enough to even suggest working with her. Aquila's standards were high. They were harsh, judgemental, and only showed kindness to selected few. Which, by the way, Aseroth was not included in said selected few. Oh, he could only dream of being considered highly by her. Aquila possessed unreasonably harsh feelings towards him, but she refused to admit this, not even to herself. She was one stubborn girl who seemed to be always denying the truth. Aquila wouldn't admit it herself, but she was frightened of the truth. Deep down, she knew her opinions were foolish and childish. Perhaps they were created out of the fact that she missed a huge portion of her childhood.

The map, she speculated, was sure to be of much use. It showed them where the wizard resided. She understood that the old man (because all wizards are old) occupied the ruins nearby. The battle scenery was sure to be interesting, she speculated. Her eyes twinkled with malicious intent. She did not bother hiding her bloodlust. She would openly admit that she was quite excited. She hoped the magician could put up a fight; else she would probably leave the match midway through battle. If something couldn't meet her expectations, she did not usually bother with them. Aseroth seemed to be the exception, of course. She didn't hope to highly, for very little challenged Aquila when it came to battle. She was quick on her feet and a ready fighter. She assumed the same was for her now partner, Aseroth. If not, then he was useless to her.

"If this map truly points to this wizard, then we had better get going, yeah?" Aquila pointed out impatiently.

Responding to Aquila. " Yeah, let's leave now before it becomes dusk and night time becomes his advantage " turning toward the door and walking simply to walk outside. " Aquila, umm I think we need some like kind of colored powder, or red dirt to throw on the invisible wizard to help us better attack him " Speaking to her as he continue to walk from the inn, toward the dirt path. Looking down at the map following the path marked which leads to the ruins, while awaiting Aquila respond. ' Inivisble Wizard... sounds tricky and bothersome alone.. I just wanna get this over with ' thinking to himself.

Aquila moved at a languid pace, a calm smile adorning her. Her eyes sparkled mischievously, also amused by the other's conclusions. Surely that was to turn invisible as well. It only seemed fit. The magician appeared to possess the ability to turn more than one object at a time invisible. They'd have to be on their guard as well. If they were to turn invisible, they would perhaps harm each other while aiming for the old wizard. She didn't worry too much about herself, and it was mainly Aseroth that she fretted about. She was suspicious that he would only be a hindrance to her. Well, all she could hope was that he didn't get in her way. That would be a pity since it meant she would have to waste her energy on him.

"I doubt that will be of much help. The wizard could just make that invisible. Now be ready! We're not too far. If you're not careful, you may just become the next invisible victim," she warned Aseroth.

Indeed, they were drawing nearer to the ruins, according to the map given to them. She couldn't help but suspect the map to be faulty. So far, Aquila kept her mouth shut about it, however. If the map did indeed prove to be misleading, it would be a lesson to the Fanalis boy. Don't trust everything someone says. People are inclined to lie and be false. Such was the cold view of Aquila and one she hoped she might teach Aseroth. And yet, despite all her nasty thoughts, she barely seemed to be treating Azeroth cruelly. And despite what she might be saying to herself, perhaps she was founding a companionship with the other. No matter the case for her strange kindness (or at least what she would consider to be kindness), Aseroth somehow or another managed to reach Aquila in ways predetermined by fate. Even so, she despised him just the same.

"Quiet now. He's invisible. Won't do stomping around when an invisible enemy lurks," Aquila hissed under her breath to Aseroth.

They crept before the ruins. It was a seemingly honest place, and yet, suspicion ran deep through the assassin. Aquila's eyes flitted rapidly, searching for any telltales of movement. She could dismiss most as animals, but some caused her to dart silently to a hiding spot. She did not pay any heed to the man who had traveled with her to the ruins. Her intentions were focused upon the magician and how she would uncover his precise location. And as it was, her ears detected the low guttural growling. The dog who had so foolishly growled at her would certainly regret it upon their death. Aquila assumed this was the dog that so loyally followed his master around. Meaning the magician was in their midst. Or rather-

!!!

Aquila rapidly spun around, dagger in hand. She felt her attack meet with something. She heard a pained yelp, immediately knowing it was the dog who had rushed towards her. When she yanked her dagger back, it was covered in blood. She huffed, upset that she had used her precious dagger on a mere dog. What a bad dog the wizard's pet was. Perhaps bad blood ran through his dog as well. Oh well, she sincerely hoped that the magician didn't expect his invisibility would be any use if he was going to make that much noise. She glanced at Aseroth and wondered if he was aware of the approaching magician. Oh well, Aquila decided she would not alert him. There was a chance he was aware and she'd ruin it all if she said anything. She would act as a bystander this time. She wished to assess Aseroth's fighting abilties. Especially against an invisible enemy. She hoped he would do well, as he was a Fanalis. His senses would guide him, if only he would use them.

Aseroth looking back and forth, once at Aquila than at the pooled blood of the dead dog. Turning around closing his eyes and unseating his blade listening for the slightest movement besides Aquila ducking behind a object. Calmly assessing the situation at hand, hearing small foot steps getting closer to them. Opening his eyes once more than whispering over to Aquila crouching down besides her. " Cover your ears if you don't want to hear this, Alright? Alright" calmly nodding his head, stilling listening in to the small tapping of the wizard coming into the clearing invisible from site.

Breathing in taking in a large amount of oxygen, moving his arms up to expand his lungs capacity. Roaring at the ground, cracking it underneath pressure allowing him to use a sonar wave like method to locate the Wizards position. Leaping high into the air forward and diagonallly, the wizard had stagger for a couple of seconds due to the road and created enough noise in the hurried stop to allow Aseroth to find him more accurately. Lightning shoots from his staff around himself in a small 5 meter radius charred the ground around him as Aseroth yelled "Cross Delta!!" from above the small radius Flipping forward from the air, wilding and violently vertically flipping downward with his blade slicing into and than effortless through the wizards staff cutting into his skull and through his body scatter blood across the place. A late spelled casted as the staff broke and delayed a lightning bolt that shoot and hit Aseroth in the stomach pushing him back instantly as he'd have already cut through Ancotar, leaving Aseroth on the ground momentarily paralyzed and suffering great burn wounds on his chest.

Coming to his feet slightly holding his burned chest as blood oozed out and onto his arm as he held it. Looking over to Aquila speaking "Easy work.. kind of? Hahaha " speaking carelessly as his blood lust pumped his adrenaline making the wound seem like nothing for the short time being. Limbing over to her, later leaving the cave to return to the people of the inn and explain they killed Ancotar. They  cheering in joy as a few of them begun to already appear to being restored to their former physical appearance. Accepting the reward as the hurt Aseroth kind lend against Aquila for support noticing it possibly going to bug her. "Aquila, we brought joy to these people, really makes me happy kind of... rather fight but... " cutting his sentence short, cringing at the pain in his gut.
