Dukran always loved these kinds of days. The air was crisp and skies clear , perfect for heading out to do a days training. " Hm , these should do .." were the words that trailed through his mind as Dukran looked down at the leather gloves that were clipped to his belt. While being a Fanalis makes you superior in terms of physical strength , it does not give you steel skin. He wouldn't make the mistake of attempting to swing tree-trunk around bare-handed.
The spot he would be chosing today was more open. It was not directly on the side of the road passing through the wooded are , but far enough inside as to not be a distinct bother to those wishing to pass through. Let's be honest , a Fanalis swinging around big trees is one of the more unsettling sights one can expect during their travels. Dukran extended his arm down and grasped a clump of young trees that were blocking his way and simply pulled until the roots found themselves ripped out of the ground. After doing this , he threw the clump of trees to one side and set his sights on finding an appropriate specimen to use as his training tool for the day.
It didn't take long for Dukran to find a young apple tree that had grown to just a little over two meters in height and 30 centimetres in diameter. "This should do just fine." With a grin , he donned the leather gloves and moved closer to the tree. Some heaving and Fanalis strength made short work of uprooting the tree. The next challange was to remove both the crown and roots.
Dukran placed the gloves back onto his belt and slung the tree over his shoulder while he searched for a suitable set of rocks with which to ground the trunk. It didn't take long for him to find a dried up stream which sported a pair of boulders far enough apart to be useful. He set the trunt between the two , with the area just below the crown as the middle point. After doing this , Dukran positioned himself near the tree and raised his foot before bringing it down with all of his force. Being what it is , the tree did not splinter. However , it did produce a cracking sound loud enough to alarm every bird in the surrounding area. "Damn , that was loud" he trailed off with a grin as he returned to stomping his way through the fruit tree.
