“You talk a big game, but I’ll make you eat your words!” This man had the nerve to taunt the King, and Lagi was definitely relying on the power of his dragon about now, but El drago was the result of his training as a Dominance beast user. He wasn’t going to let up, El drago fired off the attack once more, sustaining Roar of the lightning Dragon in order to engulf the magician with the incredible blast of Lightning magic. Since it was a tractor beam el drago had full movement of control while firing the blast, and used it as a cover to change the range between Crim and himself. El drago moved down to adjust, three meters down in altitude and four meters forward towards crim, making his altitude 22 meters and the dragon being 21 meters away from Crim. He hard capped the movement and made it precise, the specs of distance wouldn’t change anymore from el drago and lagi from what they already did unless Crim moved in such a way to close the gap or further it away.

Also, hiding in the attack that was 50 meters large and wide was a great way to counter Crim’s line of site. El drago didn’t need his max speed to make this adjusted, and this was under the presence that not much would change in distance from crim since he had to deal with the omega tier assault without his brog, maintaining focus with his spells and being grounded was the hypothetical solution, and this is what El drago was counting on. Utilizing shock throne gattling, el drago was going to pile on aggressive pressure onto the magician by continuously beaming electrical cube after electrical cube at the magician at a quickened pace in a barrage, putting up the pressure until all 16 of the 1.5 cubes hit the target. With the sum amount control, even if evasive maneuvers were initiated, Within the range of 50 meters, El drago had a bit of leeway with this technique.

This would leave El drago and Lagi to be a bit tired, but they was hoping it would be worth it.

Garret grinned beneath the mask he wore as Lagi shouted down to him. The Dragon Emperor fired off a similar attack as the one from before seemed to begin to charge towards Garret. Immediately, the magician-swordsman hybrid activated his Floating Body Alleviating Technique, magoi flowing through the entirety of his body and giving him the speed he needed in order to avoid the blast of lightning centered upon him.

Kicking off the ground, Garret's lithe body twisted in midair and he hoofed it 26 meters away from the point he was at before. He had to be careful about attacks, and showed prudence in this matter by dodging the opponent's attacks in this case. Just as before, the electricity arched throughout the air, charging the air with its static aftershocks. Lagi did not relent on his attack; he had used the prior attack as cover to move forward, though perhaps he did not notice that this worked to his advantage as well. Garret jumped forward five meters, and the Dragon Emperor fired off a new barrage of attacks. Running in a circle around his opponent, Garret's new position changed before any of the man's electricity bullets could strike him. Watching El Drago, and the barrage of meter long cubes of electricity, Garret zig-zagged if it looked like the trajectory of the electricity was being placed in his line of movement.

The battle was intense, so far, but as he still couldn't effectively reach the Dragon Emperor he did not yet retaliate.

Lagi starts at 22 meters high and 21 meters horizontal. This makes Lagi and El Drago 30 meters away from Garret. This means that his Omega ability will take 1 second to reach Garret; using an A-Tier ability, I avoid requiring a reaction time and I am able to use that full second to move, which is 25 meters. The attack hits the ground at the point of Garret being 50.09 meters away (outside of the range of an Omega-Tier ability), and Garret moves a little bit further away. Garret gets back into range of Lagi's attacks, by 5 meters, and uses his speed of 25 m/s to cover more than 1 meter distance for each bullet that is aimed at him (it is fired in a barrage, not a burst, so I would only have to dodge individually).

El Drago missed, but he wasn't going to give up. The dragon utilized his own speed of 25 m/s and tailed Crim, maintaining his altitude but following after him to the  being 20 meters in the air but sped up quickly so that the distance could at least be 20 meters. Assumingly, if Crim was 5 meters back into range, his distance away from El drago would have been 40, dodging left and right  from each barrage.  Due to the fact that it was claimed that Crim was only a little more than 1 meter away, a second before the last dew dodges, el drago made his movement change in order to be 20 meters in distance away. Afterwards, El drago was just as fast as Crim and matched his pace to Maintain that distance no matter what crim did,  because they were the same speed and drago already covered the 25, so as log as they were moving similarly  at the same speed, that distance won't change with el drago's intent on maintaining it for his attacks; as well as his intelligence regarding past battling experiences to adjust to the situation accordingly. while the game of cat and mouse continues, El drago sustained Shock throne Gattling in order to  fire off a burst this time  in the form of a four-line  square, 4 electrical cubes in each row, 4 rows in total moving at  30 m/s  in order to at least damage crim.

Lagi was starting to feel his eyes bleed and the effects of the bond he shared with his dragon. El drago was eating his stamina away, and thankfully, only Lagi receives the punishment for it.

OOC: Ari made it clear that since I'm like a battery to the beasts, they can't access a magoi pool without me. There is no detail stating the beasts have to take the low magoi and bleeding eyes etc, penalty, since I'm only a stipend to el drago in terms of magoi,  Lagi will be taking all negative penalties from it.

Concerning Shock Throne Gattling, 2 cubes were aimed at Crim's right arm, 2 for his left arm, 2 for his right leg and two for his left legs, then 4 for the midsection  and 4 for the head.

Garret had managed to dodge the last series of attacks that came towards him, primarily due to the large distance between the magician and the Dragon Emperor. A normal being would not have been able to do the same; the speed, strength and suddenness of the attack was on its own level. Only the strongest of techniques would be capable of standing against it. Hasan... Your training continuously pays off. Just as he thought that, Lagi and El Drago both zipped forward, closing the distance between Garret and the Dragon Emperor.

He will force me to do more than simply dodge... Or so Garret thought. The man stopped short of the range necessary for an undodgeable attack, and as the electricity moved in on him he sustained his Floating Body Alleviating Technique and ran. The strength of his movement left tracks behind, as the man didn't bother attempting to hid his movements during such an intense battle. Especially not when their lives were on the line with such high-stakes combat.

Though he was able to dodge the electricity, which subsequently slammed into the ground, El Drago retained distance from the Magician. Just as the Magician was able to dodge the techniques of his draconic opponent, Garret knew that the reverse would be true as well. At this time, there was nothing he could do to strike at the opponent. Garret would patiently await his next move, continuing to keep an eye on the pair of opponents before him.

OOC:
Magoi/Stamina: 290/350

20 meters away, divided by 30 (the m/s of the attack) = .66 seconds to get to Garret. Garret, using his speed buff, has .66 seconds to move. .66 times 25 (m/s of Garret's movespeed) = 16.5 meters. The attack is, in total, 6 meters wide. If it was centered on Garret, as it seems to be, Garret's berth of escaping the attack leaves him an extra 13.5 meters (he is much further than necessary). At worst, if an edge was aimed at where Garret was standing, and Garret misjudged and went the wrong way, it would still collide upon the ground at 10.5 meters away from him.

El Drago's attacks weren't working and it was quite apparent that he needed a change of plans. Right now, Crim's speed was the problem as of yet. He was bating El Drago into using more Magoi of Lagi and he was concerned that his partner didnt have much left in the tank. This needed to stop, he needed Crim to slow down enough so that El dragon can have a good enough chance to actually attack the man. So el drago actually moved upward at 25 m/s in a diagonal sense backwards until he was 40 meters in the air again and 40 meters in distance away from garret. El drago caught on, his speed wasn't forever, and El drago's speed was more natural. It was unpopular, but the dragon was going to wait out Garret's speed boost while keeping a safe distance from retaliation.

Garret watched as El Drago backpedaled, so to speak, away from Garret. It was quite a fair distance; neither fighter was attacking in a heated match, which was readily apparent based on the chess-like strategy the two employed. Lagi's style preferred safety while attempting to attack. Garret's style preferred responding through moving in the gap between the time that the two provided him.

The defensive is all I can do, unfortunately... Garret lamented the fact that his Magic Carpet was not responding to his commands, never having experienced the issue in the past. His occasional and overt attempts had not been fruitful to this point. He considered the moves left available to him as the opposition eyed him down. Reaching into the folds of his voluminous robes, with both his hand holding the Exuro staff, as well as his hand holding the shield, Garret's arms were free from sight for just a moment. When they returned, it was apparent that Garret placed his Exuro Staff upon his side and drew out Desceld, a powerful blade. He still held his shield in left hand, and sword in right.  The man looked well-equipped to slay a dragon.

With this, he imagined things would get a lot more destructive.

Forgot to add in a request; it is my understanding that the 'No Flying Carpet Rule' was implemented in order to make sure that one player didn't have an advantage over another player by being able to fly 25m/s without using any magoi/stamina. At that time, it was in place because there were no answers to that at the tier of characters that were interacting with each other.

As you can see in this fight, however, there are no reliable ways for Lagi or I to come into combat with each other. If this combat does not end, one way or another, within the next 3 rounds of posts, I would like to request a similar ruling be made. One, for consistency's sake due to the prior ruling of no carpets, and two so that this battle can end.

Either a ruling that forces El Drago to the ground, or one that gives me the use of my Magic Carpet in this battle would be perfectly in tune with the nature of the ruling made previously.

As soon as Crim sopped moving with the apparent indication that his ability that allowed him to move fast was over and done with, El drago decided that it would be best to see if he could get a little more out of Lagi before ultimately deciding if it was a wise choice to continue the battle or not. Within a split second, El drago moved towards Crim at 25 m/s, changing to the desired distance if 15 meters in altitude and distance away from the magician. There was only one go to ability that El drago had in store with all things being considered, the wise dragon ended up using drago estique. El drago generated and launched two electric orbs in the vicinity of garret, each cube was .5 seconds away from each other. Instead of exactly at garet, they were mote towards the ground in order to cause a separate amounts of an aoe spread.

However, El drago's movement was more of a drive by attempt to drop attack and sore out of counter attack range, he maintained his top speed after dropping off the attacks and soared back into the 40 altitude and 40 meter range afterwards. The dragon was mostly in and out, but his main objective was forcing garret to answer him. In general, it was a U shaped attack pattern with the initial dive to get into range for a fast attack and looping up in an evasive way

Garret frowned as the electricity came down upon him. He looked up into the air; the ability quickly descended upon him, striking his body and causing the electricity to flow through his system. His teeth were stuck, gritting, as his body refused to respond to his thoughts. His mind still worked, and he could still see what was going on around him as his eyes followed El Drago, but he was otherwise helpless to any attack that could come his way. ... This feeling is definitely unique. I've had resistance training to shocks before, but never anything on this level... He marveled at the continued show of power that El Drago and Lagi displayed, the two working hard at fighting their opponent.

Still, neither of them seemed to want to come close to Garret. At least, up to this point they didn't. All of that could change very shortly, considering the circumstances.

Of course the magic carpet exception is only for this fight, silly. The only reason I mentioned it is because, based on your combat style so far, your plan is to remain out of my reach for the entire course of the match while not being able to hit me with anything yourself. I don't want a fight that lasts 3+ months because you refuse to get anywhere near me. Also, most of Crim's fights have been booed historically in the Coliseum, so I'm totally down for that as well :D. It would fit his norm, which would be ironic and amusing considering the circumstances.

After it a confirmed that El drago had shocked Crim, he simply resigned. " We resign, start the next match now!" El drago would say without any sort of time to be wasted. Even tough he would continue the fight normally, Lagi was speechless for a very long time and he wanted to tend to his partner. El drago too so much magoi that Lagi couldn't even talk anymore in fear that it'll suck the last bit of his energy. With El drago eyeing Lagi, his eyes were bleeding and he was slumped over. The only acknowledgement was his tight grip to hold mobility. It was a baton pass, and the fanalis was Next. All he had to do was close the gap as fast as he could with his fanalis speed and stab crim in the face. But can he do it? Was there any sort of way that the Fanalis can enclose 70 meters in time before the fights over.

OOc: Start the next match immediately! Garrt doesn't need a post because he has opening post. He doesn't need to eat through estique by letting the turns pass. Once proxy post, he has opening post, which gives Endolf a little over two turns to get to him in time. Go endolf, RUN!

Seeing the dragon protected his king by forfeiting themselves was truly a heartbreaking moment, the legendary beast lowered his pride to protect his human, his master who now couldn’t barely move his body and crying blood from his shut eyes. However, it seemed that his last attack worked on Crim as the hooded man couldn’t move his body and it might last for a long time depended on how strong he was to release himself from the immobilization. Lagi seemed to have a plan that would give advantage to his comrade who would be fighting next since it was clear that he couldn’t fight any more in his current condition. So even though Crim couldn’t move himself to celebrate his victory of this round, Pierrot happily announced his win by dancing around by done nothing to release Crim from the binding.

It was called a team work if the clown could say, so without waiting any longer, Pierrot announced the next fighter from Team Gray Rukh. He was a fanalis who didn’t look strong enough compared to this immobilized hooded man, however he might have a hidden power and high intelligence to make use of the advantage that Lagi had given to him. Endolf would then find himself standing exactly 70 meters away from Crim and the moment Pierrot rung the bell, the battle would immediately start.

Garret watched as El Drago forfeited. It was primarily concerned with Lagi, who seemed exhausted from winning several consecutive fights; an impressive feat, to say the least, of anyone. The electrical current held him in place, and it did not seem as if the hosts of the tournament had any intention of giving him time to recover.

This is not a surprise. It is, after all, a team tournament... As he thought that, a burning sensation crossed his chest. Hanging from a chain, pressed up against his body, a small charm began to work its magic. The magical energy from it coursed through his neural systems; it was a charm designed to remove a number of afflictions from the body, mind and soul... Though it did take time to be usable once again.

Garret, now free from his paralysis, cricked his neck back and forth before setting sights on the newcomer. Winding up both of his shoulders, he mentally groaned. A Fanalis... He would begin by keeping a strong eye on the fellow, and approach slowly with his sword and shield in hand. When he got close enough, Garret took a single horizontal swing at the man with Desceld. The swing was from Garret's right to his left, aiming to bisect the opponent from the waist if the opponent did not move beforehand.

Endolf hadn’t been paying attention to the matches so far. The whole thing had been going on for far longer than his attention span was willing to allow and eventually he had simply started finding other things in his team’s waiting area to occupy his time with as he waited, only paying attention when his teammates rotated out. It seemed his team had been on a streak from as much as he could gather. Two of his teammates had fallen, but so had two of the opposing team’s members as well. Now the man who had been leading them in victory had seemed to have withdrawn from the current fight and without warning the young Fanalis found himself in the arena.

For the moment his Resentment remain clipped to the back of his waist, only for him to use his empty hands to unclasp and unravel the chain bound around his right wrist, the golden metal covering his left hand catching a glint as he moved it. Once ready he would draw his sword in a backhanded hold, the man he was set to face advancing slowly as he did so with sword and shield prepared. The redhead allowed his approach, knowing firsthand how detrimental taking the first attack could turn out to be, and decided to be the one to counter if he could while still advancing at his own pace. By the two met it began like a strike of lightning. The opposing fighter swung his blade in a sweeping motion aiming to split Endolf at the waist but the Fanalis was nimble and dropped down to the ground with only his free hand keeping him from making full contact with the arena floor and allowed the weapon to simply pass over him as he kicked out to try and sweep the man off his feet.

Endolf would use his momentum to launch himself back into a standing position and follow into a Pommel Strike against the man, the bottom of his sword aimed for the dead center of the shoulder of his foe's sword arm.

Garret frowned as the opposition ducked under his attack. As expected... Fast. His opponent kicked out with his foot, though Garret would not quite let that kick strike him. Under his voluminous robes, Garret's foot was already in movement as Endolf's foot approached within 30 cm of his feet/legs. Garret clashed against the motion meant to take his feet out from under him with Sea's Horizon. His opponent had relied upon his body's capabilities when dodging Garret's first attack; if it was a Human or Imuchakk that had done so, they may not have been capable of avoiding the attack. It seemed the opponent had also relied upon their body's basic capabilities when attempting to strike at his lower half. This attack, however, was one backed by technique and training.

When Garret's foot made contact with his opponent's, it would show devastating effect; the strength of it would break the bones in his opponent's foot, making him incapable of standing on it.

Immediately after the kick, Garret would jump backwards and place some distance between the two. His opponent was nimble, and faster than him due to the differences in their race. How will he react to this..? Garret watched for any movements from his opponent, his eyes open wide even as his face was hidden behind a mask.

If his opponent attempted to strike Garret with the Pommel of his blade, Garret would bring up his shield Spritely Plague Shield to intercept it.

Of course it wasn’t going to be that easy for Endolf. Nothing ever went that easy for him. Instead of getting to strike his opponent’s shin or ankle with his kick like he had been expecting his foe did such a simple action as lifting his foot up out of the way. Just as it seemed he was about to slam his foot right back down in an attempt to break the Fanalis boy’s the seal on the palm of his golden gauntlet began to emit the traditional oceanic blue light that tended to herald in the crystal clear waters that would typically surround Endolf in a defensive sphere. However this time his Barrier Wave wouldn’t be anything oversized but instead would simply create a protective outline around the redhead’s form.

Of course this technique didn’t offer the boy total protection and the waters were only able to dampen the amount of force that would impact his foot before splashing against the ground around them altogether. With a grunt and a grit of his teeth he knew that his foot would most likely be fractured but that didn’t bother him too much. He had suffered fractures in battle before and fought on and this time would be no different. Though he was disappointed in the fact that he had to play a trump card like his gauntlet so fast into the fight.

Thankfully his opponent had decided to lake a small leap back and put some breathing room between the two and that was perfect for End. Getting back to his feet caused the boy a bit of pain, a sign that his foot had definitely been fractured in some way, he took the chain hanging down from his right wrist and brought the clip from it up to attach it to his Resentment as he had done dozens of times before. In a second it was secured and Endolf would launch into what he hoped would be a surprise attack. All it took was a few movements of his arm before his sword and chain would begin whirling around until it became what could only be described as a Sphere of Swords that pushed out all around the youth to a max of 5 meters to strike everything it could.

It was as expected from his race that the Fanalis was able to keep up with the hooded man, Endolf’s quick attack and action probably the factor that made him able to stand still… but the question was… until now? Pierrot chuckled, he wondered again if the Fanalis would be able to actually land an attack towards Crim or smart enough to drain his energy for the favor of the next fighter from his own team. The redhead was going to kick the hooded man but Crim who was much faster than him managed to land a roundhouse kick, damaging Endolf’s feet/leg after the process before some kind of water dome appeared around endolf. As soon as he landed the attack, the hooded man jumped backwards but the clown stared at the Fanalis as he took the moment to swing his swords. Would Crim be able to dodge it…? He would have to wait and find out.

OOC: Garret’s kick which is 20m/s would be faster enough to reach 30 cm before the 15m/s barrier wave could cover Endolf in 100 cm. Surely, Endolf's foot would still get hit by Garret’s kick based from the attack's speed

Endolf's attack moved towards the Magician, and his muscles almost moved reflexively to clash against it. Before Garret had an opportunity to move, however, the attack bit into his shoulder, striking the bone. "Ahhh!" Garret shouted out, pained by the attack. He had been vigilant, but did not view the attack as life threatening...

In the end, he had underestimated the pain he would feel from the attack. Regardless, Garret jumped backwards some more, putting a total of 10 meters distance between the two. Letting his sword slide a few centimeters into the ground, he switched the side he held the sword and shield. He found it much easier to simply allow the shield to hang off of his arm than it would be to control a sword with a wounded limb.

Of course, during this time Garret remained vigilant to his opponent's actions, ready to respond at a moment's notice.

But Endolf wasn’t going to give him that satisfaction and instead made sure put all of his weight on his right leg as he did is best to leap forward up to six meters. Garret had just finished changing sides of his equipment as his opponent came dashing forward. The slash from earlier had ripped right through his robes, revealing white flesh and red blood that soaked his clothing. The wound was neither superficial nor life-threatening, but the constant throbbing pain reminded the man that this battle could potentially be to the death. His senses were widened, and his arduous training had worked his body's reflexes to the absolute limit.

When Endolph attacked, Garret was ready. His legs were in place, and he watched for that brief second of time that Endolph encroached on his space. He covered half the distance I covered in a fourth of the time... The thought was a passing one, and hardly the primary thing on his mind. Just as the man passed the six meter mark, Garret saw his hands move on the 'chain' that held the attack. Having a similar weapon of his own, Garret knew that this attack would have the range to strike him. As the blade came descending down upon his head, Garret's shield raised up with the movements of a Simple Block. The destructive force of the man's attack was suddenly backed by magic! It was certainly unique, in that Garret did not believe he had ever experienced a concentrated attack like it in the past.

Once again his opponent exceeded his expectations, damaging the shield in the process. His use of the defensive item allowed him to mitigate most of the damage, though. The strike reverberated throughout his arm, agitating the nerves which screamed out to him in pain. Garret grit his teeth and used that pain to focus, although his arm felt numb. His shield arm dropped, exposing his upper body and head, though passively protecting his thighs, groin, hips and right arm.

Garret responded to the attack with some swordplay of his own. Taking a modified fencer's stance, Garret angled his body to a 45° angle of his opponent and dashed forward to close the distance. His opponent was wounded as well, and would not be able to easily maneuver. With his sword held from the center of Garret's side, the magician angled his blade upwards from the parallel plane of the ground to a similar 45° angle, aiming towards his opponent's collar.

When he jumped forward, leaving a meter and a half between their two bodies, Garret aimed to score a slash across his opponent's right hand; specifically, the wrist.

The Fanalis was truly a fighter that should not be underestimated by anyone who was fighting him, he was a truly strong fighter and a smart one as well. Something that Pierrot had not seen in the fight yet, until now. He smirked when the Fanalis managed to make his opponent bleeding because of his previous attack but it looked like the red lion didn’t want to slow down at all as he began to attack Crim at two directions at once, not even taking his time to breath. Lucky for the hooded man, he could use his shield to block the attack aimed for his head. It would be bad if it hit his head, although it might gave Endolf a very good advantage to give the victory for his team. However, he didn’t notice the attack on his left side and the whip of pure water managed to hit him, dealing damage towards him before he could have the chance to use his shield. But Crim didn’t plan to slow down as well as he aimed to slash Endolf’s wrist.

OOC: Whip of water hit Garret’s left side, giving him C-tier damage there. His shield would be unused as well and would still be 300/300.

Landing back to the ground, 4 meters still spacing the two fighters apart, Endolf would collapse on his left knee from the pain of his broken foot shooting up his entire leg upon landing. It was certainly a hindering aspect that made this fight harder on Endolf than he would have enjoyed at that moment. Still, it looked as if his opponent would need a moment or two to recover from the thundering impact of his sword against his shield held with his already wounded arm. A thought passed through Endolf’s mind, his currently crouched position could be useful for the moment. He doubted his foe would take into account the possibility that Endolf wouldn’t try to rise back to his feet.

Before he could act the hooded figure moved forward to take the offensive himself. With about a meter and a half still left between the two the Fanalis felt he should ready a defense. Pulling back on his right arm he drew his sword back into his hand, a tactic he had practiced many times over when he was still using leather straps and only more so once he had replaced them with the chains. As the cloaked figure’s sword came slashing towards his right wrist, obviously an attempt to prevent the boy from being able to use his primary sword hand much longer, he himself brought his blade up to meet the oncoming weapon and block it.

Following up Endolf did something else that, at least he hoped, would be unexpected. His left hand, still empty, balled into a fist seconds before shooting out towards his foe’s chest as his good leg extended him towards the mysterious fighter. A hopeful attempt to punch him in the breastbone, or even better the heart.

Garret knew the magic was coming, and imagined it would strike him one way, but was taken surprise as it struck his left side. He could feel the pain on his left side, but still went through with his strike. Garret saw the man pull back on the 'chain' that was connected to the blade, and knew there would soon be an interception of his strike. I need to finish this...

Hasan had taught him a lot in their time sparring, and while Garret was capable of keeping up with the martial artist, it was only with his full strength that he could compete against the man. ... Now! As the blades clashed with each other, Garret allowed his hand to slide down the hilt of his sword, letting it drop to the ground as he seamlessly moved his left hand to his right hip. In one fluid motion, as Endolph began to move forward, Garret performed the art of the River Splitter. The draw of the blade, Nidhogg, was quick; quicker than basic reflexes would give a chance to respond to.

As the fist approached Garret, the Magician's mind worked in a flurry, his sword's blade clearing its sheathe much quicker than the encroaching threat of his opponent's attack. The strength, power and speed of a magoi infused attack was of the highest caliber, though Garret's level of skill did not allow him to reach the heights Hasan had. He has shown his talent for combat. I suppose it is time to show my technique. It is now time to see the strength of his training.

Garret did not believe his opponent would be able to defend against this attack.

Garret's attack is being drawn from the hip. His attack is meant to bisect Endolph's punch and continue moving through his body, removing his head/part of his shoulders in the process.

I really enjoyed our fight ^_^.  Your attacks were clever, and I enjoyed them quite a bit. If this post spells your character's defeat, best of luck in any fights in the future that you decide to do.

It all happened so painfully fast. The Fanalis fell to the arena floor with a cry of agony shaking the entire place. His punch had never gotten to connect with his foe, instead now his entire arm was missing. Nothing but a bloody joint at his shoulder where it should have connected to his now missing limb. The arm in question was in its own pool of crimson on the ground. The redhead could only pant and try to stabilize himself from the pain of having lost his arm to the mysterious fighter. Using his one remaining arm he tried to get himself back to his feet, falling once more as the pain from his broken foot shot up his body to meet the pain from his amputated shoulder.

“I….forfeit.”

The final words from the fighter before he passed out in the middle of the arena.

“Ahh… this one is interesting but he couldn’t surpass his opponent…” Pierrot mumbled to himself when he saw Garret slashed Endolf’s arm, making the poor young Fanalis to lose an arm. Blood burst from there and the chopped arm was sadly laying on the ground, resting on the pool of blood. His consciousness quickly fading right after he said that he wanted to forfeit, making there was no other option to decide the result of the battle. The clown stood up and announced, “The winner is Crim!” The audience would cheer for the hooded man, hyped up because of the great fight being shown to them. Then they would see Endolf was covered with swarms of butterflies, seemed to have healing power before it restored his arms before it lifted the Fanalis to the podium. The next fight would be the final fight as there was no one left in each team, so if one of them won, the winning team could be decided. “From Team Gray Rukh, the last member… the magician with blue mane... Yakuroro!” Yaku would find himself standing in the arena, exactly 70 meters away from Garret.

OOC: Garret/Crim won this round and get to post first! Please post within 48 hours or Yakuroro will get the chance to post first~

Being teleported onto the battlefield was a startling experience. Yakuroro had been sitting comfortably on the sidelines watching the battle play out thus far. The intellectual found little entertainment from a setting like this. His memories of time spent in the Reim coliseum gave the entire affair a foul taste to the Imuchakk's tongue. However, his role on the team had been clear to him from the beginning. Yakuroro's job was to be the anchor of the team. An immovable obstacle to hold on as the faced the edge of a bottomless cliff known as defeat. He knew not what sort of consequences or rewards awaited them at the climax of the arena. Only that the price of victory would be less costly than that of failure.

The self awareness allowed the Imuchakk to view the previous fights with a keen eye despite his lack of personal interest. Though he didn't know most of the fighters on the team, they had all given a worthy effort. Especially Lagi and Endolf. Yakuroro noted how much stronger Lagi had become when compared to the mere boy he had trounced in the coliseum a couple years ago. The finalis fighter had earned great praise from Yaku as well considering that he had fought so hard and well against an opponent who was able to stand on par with the destructive force of nature the El Nagi king had brought to bare. Quite frankly, the magician felt that he was out matched by his own teammates in both power as well as determination. He was in a state of admirance when his consciousness registered that it was now his turn to fight.

So there Yakuroro stood, a great many meters away from the contestant that had just defeated Endolf. This distance was no good, Yakuroro didn't want to fight Garret right away. There was a matter the Imuchakk wanted to discuss first. Hoping to engage in dialogue, the blue haired giant strapped his staff to his back where a greatsword also rested. Yakuroro then slowly raised his hands up in a universal gesture of non-aggression. In this manner, Yakuroro would attempt to slowly stroll up to Garret until only 10 meters rested between them. He would monologue as he got within earshot, ending his words as he ended his approach.

"That was some magnificent fighting!" The familiar of a proud warrior's grin was emulated on Yaku's face as well as the tone honor and respect towards another. "It has been a long time since I have witnessed such a grand battle. You seem to be an honorable fighter. In Imuchakk, one such as you would likely be able to pass our rite of passage into manhood despite being a human. A feat not many can brag about! Bwahahaha!" A burst of heart laughter would ring out as Yakuroro casually went on to get to the point of his words.

"I would have liked to fight you when you were well rested. It brings me shame to face a warrior like you who has already used so much magoi while I am fresh. Please forgive me if you feel this is looking down on you..."

Assuming he had not been interrupted or attacked up till now, Yakuroro would then slowly reach for his staff and then toss it to his left side 10m away from himself. The distance was enough that an Imuchakk like him would struggle to run to retrieve it before being cut down by an enemy attack. Yakuroro would then draw his greatsword and hold it at a ready stance in both hands, the blade held in front of him angled up slightly with the tip held at Garret's chest level. "I will fight you like a warrior Imuchakk should! Without my staff I can not use powerful magic. Shall we settle this with steel instead?"

((Ahh, dramatic theatre~ What fun~ Alas, if Garret just wants to start fighting, I'll simply retcon my actions at the point he interrupts me. No hard feelings if that's the case.))

Garret readied himself for a fight as his opponent approached. Not wanting to lose out on initiative, Garret walked forward as well. When ten meters were all that was between the two, his opponent stopped. Following suit, Garret took a stance of his own to prepare, sheathing his blade and hovering his left hand over the blade sheathed on his right hip. Instead of breaking out into immediate combat, however, his opponent began to speak.

Garret was somewhat familiar with the Imuchakk peoples. The praise the man had for Garret's strength was considerable, considering the Imuchakk had high standards. It was then that the man was taken aback; Yakuroro turned out to be a magician, as well. The tossing of the staff to the side made Garret suspicious. Is he a Magician? If so, was it born talent? And does he perhaps have a wand, as well? The first instinct was to do the same, however Garret was a bit more cautious than that.

"Your praise is flattering. I am not insulted by your decision to throw down your staff, as I welcome a martial challenge... Forgive me for not starting slow. The last fight was intense enough to have my senses pushed to their limits, and I'm afraid that if I let that feeling go, I will not easily be able to grasp it once more." Garret would watch Yakuroro's movements, his eyes unblinking. Dashing forward into a job, Garret closed the distance by 2.5 meters in the first second. He was carefully watching the opposing magician's body. If Yakuroro attacked Garret with the Greatsword, an imposing weapon by itself, the magician would clash against it with the River Splitter. If the attack did not come first from his opponent, Garret would begin running forward, moving at a 45 degree angle to his opponent's right while maintaining a 45 degree facing angle to Yakuroro. Approaching at the same time, once Garret was within a meter of his opponent he would use River Splitter.

The plan is River Splitter to clash against an attack, if you choose to do so... Or in the event that you do not, then it is River Splitter once Garret gets within 1 meter of you. Nice backdrop to the fight :D. As an OOC peak into Garret's mindset, Garret does not plan to use Magic so long as it isn't used against him, lol. Ideally, he wouldn't have pride to put on the line, but he can't help it in this case : ).
