Hohotaro would find the tunnel to be rather rough in texture; it was made of wood, just like a majority of everything else in this area. If he continued to slide his hand across the wood he would eventually get a splinter. The tunnel itself wound around, left and right, before coming to a complete drop-off. This drop off was a bit spacious; the area around him was somewhat open, when compared to the tunnel-like root structure he had been going through so far. The drop itself did not seem to have an end that was seeable, and if Hohotaro were to send down a bit of the moss he had collected down the hole he would eventually see the glow it provided disappear.

Just a short amount of time after he found the dead-fall Hohotaro would be able to hear a slithering sound from behind. Should he turn to check, there would be but one sight awaiting him:

Peak-a-boo:

Four strange creatures began climbing down the sides of his surroundings. Two to his right, one to his left, and one that had dropped straight down in front of his only exit. Soon, if Hohotaro did not act, his exit would be blocked by all 4 of the beasts.

The creature in front of Hohotaro immediately strode forward to attack, striking at Hohotaro with a Claw in an attempt to harm the Imuchakk warrior.

It would be at this moment that Solomon found himself facing the backside of a Behir.

OOC:

Hohotaro is 1.5 meters away from the Behir blocking his path, Solomon is 3 meters away from that same Behir.

Hohotaro peeks down toward the drop-off and tried to use his method earlier to see if this drop have a bottom. The luminescent moss just got swallowed by the darkness below. Hohotaro looks around examining his surrounding making use of his glowing suit to illuminate it. He looks over towards the far side of the hole and throws a moss towards it. He even looks up if he can see a light coming from above. After examining his surrounding Hohotaro for a short amount of time he turned around when he heard slithering.

In front of him is some sort of large snake but with a dozen legs. The creature throw a claw attack at Hohotaro and he responded by unsheathing his C-Tier Hook Sword and clashing it with the claw attack. Hohotaro chops the claw off and follows through cutting the creature itself.

Hohotaro then saw 3 more of these creature blocking his path back into the ravine. He slashed on the creature closest to him vertically in an attempt to disembowel it and open up it's under belly.

If Solomon fails to kill the remaining Behir Hohotaro then unsheathes his other D-Tier Hook sword and swings across the other Behir, Hohotaro doesn't care if the behir clash with it using it's claw, Hohotaro would power through it and hopefully kill the behir in the process.

Then Hohotaro would bisect the last one with his C-Tier Hook Sword. Similarly, even if the Behir clashes with it or surprised by it he would power through it in hopes to kill the behir in the process.

"That was scary haha... This place is really starting to feel like what people outside say haha..." Hohotaro laughs awkwardly.

Hohotaro slits one of the Behir with his hook sword and cleans it's insides. "Do you think this thing might be edible?" Hohotaro then proceeds to wear the Behir over him as a coat. Now Hohotaro is a bloody glowing behir swamp monster. "Rawr! I'm a monster haha!"

Hohotaro looks over the drop off again. "Do you think there might be treasures down there? Well... if I'm someone who will hide a treasure then dark ominous and spooky would be the best place to hide it right?"

Hohotaro picks up a Behir and dropped it in the hole listening for some sort of movement or any sound that would create.

If he hears nothing Hohotaro would then proceed to carefully scales down the drop-off using his hook swords.

In a moment Solomon found himself behind a Behir which he did not know of such a creature so too him it just looked like some large snake creature with many legs. But he would immediately think of Noirs pet Haku and Lances’ fox mount. “A DUNGEON BEASTTT!!!” he would yell out to Hohotaro. But by the time he they were all killed, “Damnit, I wanted to make one of them submit to me and be my pet… W.e I’ll find another one eventually.” He would shrug when asked if he believed them to be edible as he poked them with his foot, “You could try but they may be poisonous.” Solomon would ignore Hohotaro as he wore it and acted so he would have the time to cut a claw off from one of them to put into his back to keep as a keep sake. He would then turn to see what Hohotaro was doing with the hole decided, “eh” and jumped down into the hole prepared to use his magic ring to create an onyx wall if he had to before falling to far or protecting himself from what may be at the bottom. He would use the illuminating moss he was wearing to allow himself to see and if he hit the bottom of the hole with no issues he would then laugh and say, “What is taking you so long Hohotaro?” and would then continue to look around as Hohotaro climbed down.

Hohotaro's Hook Sword struck against the creature's claw, which didn't stand much of a chance when it came to resisting the force of the Rampaging Unicorn Horn's power. With his proceeding with a full on cut into the creature, it collapsed to the ground. It was at this point that the other creatures closed in on Hohotaro, as the Imuchak had decided to hold his ground instead of run into the tunnel. Attacking from each side, Hohotaro was only able to just barely keep up with their strikes; this was, in all likelihood, due to them arriving at a staggered rate. One creature raised its arm up as Hohotaro cut across it vertically, and the creature fell apart in two as its blood sprayed out against Hohotaro. The blue liquid ran down the warrior's body even as he turned to swing at another Behir. This one brought up its Claw in an attempt to stop it, but the claw did very little and Hohotaro's continuance and forceful push brought the blade through this creature as well.

The last Behir hesitated as Hohotaro had just slain 3 of its companions with short work. The final strike caught it before it could react, and Hohotaro was able to cleanly bisect the creature with little effort. Dropping the creature below, Hohotaro would not hear anything until approximately 15 seconds had passed. At that point, he would hear a splashing sound, signifying water below. It was definitely a long drop down.

As he began to scale the side of the roots, he found his Hook Sword would work exceptionally well in digging into the side of the roots and giving him a hand-hold. Even so, Solomon's jump from above brought him down much quicker than what Hohotaro would be able to do with just scaling; Solomon had gravity to help speed him up. 10 meters passed in the first second. By the 2nd second, he had dropped 30 meters. By the 3rd second he had dropped 60 meters. It was now getting dangerous, and there did not seem to be an end in sight.

Imuchakk, being a race that was well acquainted with water, knew that even if they fell into water it would still be deadly if it was from a far enough fall. Using his Heart of the Mountain, Solomon was only just able to get it to form in time to catch him; even though he was able to do so, he still felt minor pains in his body from where he landed.

OOC:

Solomon, take D-Tier damage to at least 2 limbs of your choosing for the fall, or C-Tier damage to 1 limb if you would like to just land on one limb really hard before the other limbs followed.

Hohotaro felt really good that he was able to single-handedly kill the four behir that appeared. Hohotaro looked at Solomon with glee as if waiting for some kind of praise from the companion. What he see was disappointment. And heard Solomon say  “Damnit, I wanted to make one of them submit to me and be my pet… W.e I’ll find another one eventually.” And shrugged.

Hohotaro thinks. "Well maybe you could've told me that if you arrived sooner." as he cuts the Behir pretending that nothing was wrong.

Hohotaro dropped the Behir corpse down the depths and started counting. "1...2...3..." Hohotaro is still counting as Solomon was taking the Claw of the behir. "12...13...14...15" Splash... Hohotaro heard a faint sound coming from the depths. "Fifteen counts huh... This hole is very deep we should climb down carefully." Hohotaro said as he carefully ascends down the side of the drop-off.

Hohotaro heard Solomon going. "Eh..."  and sees him jumping down the hole. "Hmmm that's a good swan dive 8.6/10" Hohotaro thinks as he remembers the diving game they play in Imuchakk. Another 3 seconds later Hohotaro heard a slam sound. Hohotaro grimaced at the sound and thought. "Well... I hope Mon is as tough as he looks."

Hohotaro scales down the wall as quick as he could letting go of the wall and using his Hook Sword to slow his descent. He sees Solomon rubbing his nipple on top of a Black wall he made. Hohotaro just shrugged and continued down the wall. He does the same thing until he reach the bottom.

"Hey Mon!" Hohotaro said as he resurfaced from the water. "THAT WAS AWESOME!!!" Hohotaro raised his hand and laughed. Hohotaro lay on top of the water and paddles around Solomon. Hohotaro was glad  that he is now in his favorite place. He regained all his energy as he is on water once again.

"So yeah... should we follow the current? It would be easier to swim that way haha. Come on Mon! Let's race!" Hohotaro started swimming as fast as he could frog style with the current on top of the water not needing to hold his breath for now.

As Solomon fell he immediately thought to himself, "Well damn this was a terrible idea." He ended up catching himself with his onyx wall but he was falling to quick he ended up crashing into the onyx wall chest first taking D-Tier damage to his nipples and then falling to his side slightly taking D-Tier damage to his shoulder. It would end up cracking the wall but it would not break right away it allowed him some time to then begin to grasp the wall as Hohotaro did, he would then break the wall when his grip was firm to the side of the hole and would scale down into the darkness. Once he reached the bottom he would he would not enter the water, and as Hohotaro came down he would see Solomon rubbing his nipples as they were in pain. He was being quite cautious of the water as if something may be in it. He listened to Hohotaro while still being cautious of what could be in the water below them, he he had to he would climb the walls next to them to avoid anything below, "We should probably follow the current as we do not know how long it could go for and we would be assisted by the current in maybe finding air before we drown.... I hope you can hold your breath."

After speaking for some time they would come to the conclusion if water was all that they could see they would enter the water and would then swim down looking at what they could see and follow the current in search of a new path. If any danger fell before then Solomon would be prepare with his axe and his ring once more.

Both Hohotaro and Solomon would find the climb down to be quite long. If either of them were paying a great deal of attention to the distance, they would know that their descent was over a thousand meters. A drop from the height that Solomon had jumped from would surely have been fatal. Even a less attentive individual would have noticed that it was a long dissent, well over three hundred meters. Grasping their way down the roots, sliding down here and there, the time it took was just barely less than an hour. Yet, at last, they were within a their best element; water.

Their search and caution beneath the water produced results that advised them of the safety of their surroundings, for now. There was no true current here that they would find; simply still water. The two would begin swimming, and would be able to tell that there was a slight left turn as they swam. Continuing their efforts, there wouldn't be anything particularly outstanding. The length of swimming was long, even for that of an Imuchakk. Another half hour passed, and if Hohotaro was looking he would be able to find the holes in the wall of roots that he had created from his sword earlier. It was a dead-end.

OOC:
Considering that Hohotaro is dropping into the water and saying Solomon is already there, I am assuming that Hohotaro's speed doesn't exceed Solomon's.
Solomon has taken 1 D-Tier to his upper chest area, and 1 D-Tier to his right shoulder (as it was not specified, I have chosen for you).

Hohotaro excitedly swam the waters. After a while of swimming he noticed the same holes Hohotaro have made descending the root. "Well... that's really disappointing..." Hohotaro incredibly regrets his decision to go down the ominous hole. Not only that there is nothing to see here but they almost died during the descent.

"So Mon... I guess there's no where else to go but up?" Hohotaro tells Solomon as he rest and regain his energy. Hohotaro popped some berries in his mouth and gave some to Solomon. After a while they feel rejuvenated and rested Hohotaro began the climb to the top following the holes he made earlier. "Let's go."

If they start getting tired on the way up Hohotaro would ask if Solomon can do the black wall thing so they'll have a platform to take a rest and eat some berries and jerky that amazingly was wrapped so well that it didn't get wet after they went swimming. After recouping their energy they would start the climb again.

"I really wish we could fly..." Hohotaro comments while they carry on climbing the 1km wall.

If the climb is uneventful. After a while of climbing Hohotaro would rest as he wait for Solomon to catch up to him. They would again try to regain their energy before venturing out into the ravine.

Solomon would swim around with Hohotaro and find himself not as much disappointed as Hoho seemed as Solomon was only here for seeing nature and the different wonders as is, and he did finally get to see a new beast of sorts but they were slain rather quickly. They would both feel slightly rejuvenated, and Solomon would sigh as he looked up to the path they would have to re-travel. If they did get tired on the way up he would create a wall for them to rest on till they were fully rejuvenated. He would be able to stick to Hohotaro quite well having a decently larger reach, but they would both traverse back to the top and make there way back out of the ravine if nothing was to impede them.

Hohotaro and Solomon both would find themselves climbing their way back up the wall. An exploration mindset and the willingness to travel where others may not normally do so was certainly a strong trait within the Imuchakk, but it was not always the best of choices. Hohotaro may have learned that not all exploration was fruitful, but what he truly took away from that would be up to him; there was still some value to be found in such trips, after all was said and done. Just as the trip down was difficult, so too was the trip up. There were no natural footholds, and it seemed that as they got further up the tree's roots had healed at a fast rate, requiring them to create new handholds and footholds once they got more than half way up.

The dead bodies were still where Hohotaro and Solomon had left them, and there didn't seem to be any changes in the tunnels itself... Yet when they got to the entrance of the tunnel they would find a horrifying sight; littered across the ravine that had formed when the water left was a number of Behir that seemed impossible. If either of them though very hard, and had a good memory of the holes that were scattered across the ravine walls, they would find that the number of Behir corresponded with the number of holes by a factor of 4. That was to say, for every hole there were 4 Behir. They were milling about, some of which seemed to be chewing on multi-limbed creatures that Hohotaro and Solomon would not recognized, but were known as Thri-Kreen in the dungeon. There was approximately five meters between any 2 of the Behir, and they seemed to be milling about.

The portal was still open on the opposite side of the ravine that they had appeared from. Hohotaro had a decision on how to move forward from here onward...

Hohotaro and Solomon sat down and rest as soon as they climbed out of the hole. "Well that was a bust haha!" Hohotaro laughs as he stretches his hand and rest after the long climb. "At least we get to go for a little swim eh?" Hohotaro lays down and recovers his lost energy. He still have a tinge of regret. He took out his pack of berries and started eating. "It's a little disappointing that we haven't discovered anything down there. But I just can't ignore my itch to go to the unknown haha! I guess exploring is it's own reward huh?" Hohotaro says trying to rationalize his decision as he recoup his energy.

Once they are fully rested Hohotaro goes towards the opening of the hole. What he find there makes him want to go back down to the hole. Behirs... behirs everywhere. It's good that Hohotaro chokes up because he might have screamed on the top of the lungs because of that sight. Hohotaro taps Solomon's shoulder and said. "Wait here I have an idea."

Hohotaro went back to the drop off point. After a while Hohotaro came out running into a sprint with the upper half of a behir covering him like a coat. "Let's go Mon! Haha!" Hohotaro says to Solomonon as he charges out towards the ravine full of behir.

He takes a beeline to the portal. If anything attacks him on the way he would use his hook swords to clash with the attack. He would be careful that his swords won't break. If he thinks his swords are starting to break he would sheathe it and use his limbs for clashing.

If he reached the portal he would go on a full dive towards it.

Walking almost out of the hole they could see many Behir filling the ravine, it stunned Solomon for a second and it sort of made him happy since he wished to tame one of them. He knew however to do so in this many of them would be the same as committing suicide. He would immediatly follow Hohotaro as he realized what he was doing, dashing almost inches behind him, he knew that they would have to run and hope to the heavens that they make it too the portal. Solomon would prepare his Rampaging axe to clash with any attack that may come onto them and also prepared to use his wall to create walls underneath there feet to speed there retreat if needed. As they ran if they made it close enough to the portal he would say, "Dive Boobie Boy DIVE!!" as Solomon would push Hohotaro as he dived as well. And if successful on making it too the other side he would immediatly say before standing even, "DAMN! I wanted one of those" He would then lift himself up to see where they would stand, "Maybe there is another beast of sorts I could try to capture here." He would say as he turned to also check on Hohotaro.

Hohotaro would find his disguise working against the first four opponents just momentarily after his initial charge. This was simply a shock factor, however. It was evident after much of any sort of look that Hohotaro was not moving anything like a Behir, and that the individual behind him was not disguised at all. As they passed the first four, one of the creatures screeched and alerted the rest of the pack. Two seconds had passed since they ran from the entrance towards the portal. As they charged forward, the four Behir that they had passed began to follow in the chase while the two Behir that Hohotaro and Solomon were just passing through attempted to attack Hohotaro with their claws.

The blades clashed against the claws, digging deep into their bodies as Hohotaro continued charging forward. His choice of starting his exit with a running start was wise; he was already moving as fast as he could, working his way forward to the best of his ability. Dead ahead there were five Behir on the right and two on the left, but it did not seem like there would be enough room for the group to threaten Hohotaro and Solomon all at once. Even so, Hohotaro would find himself clashing up against one claw on his right and two claws on his left, destroying even more Behir in the process. Two more seconds had passed.

It was at this point that the Behir that were following behind Solomon and Hohotaro caught up to the two Imuchakk due to their faster speed. Solomon was struck in the right and left shoulders with a Claw attack; the prior blow on his right shoulder was just bruising before, but with the addition of the claw attack a wound opened up upon his shoulder. It began to bleed, though it did not seem like it was life-threatening. The two were in the final stretch, with just four more Behir in their way. This was a tough battle for the pair of Imuchakk, and Hohotaro's maintenance of his sword's durability would prove to cause him a bit of pain. Four clawing attacks struck out at him as the two made their way to the portal. One on the left, followed by two on the right and lastly one from the front. Without trouble he managed to destroy the one on the left, but his weaker weapon was on its last leg and so he avoided using it in that manner for the rest of the fight. His right sword was still going strong, and Hohotaro managed to strike down two of the remaining 3 that were directly in his way. The issue was the last one attacking at the same time as he dispatched the second to last one, and his sword was already busy. Using his fist, Hohotaro's attack had such a great amount of force behind it that the creature's arm began to collapse in on itself like a crushed can, though not before the sharp claws managed to cut into his fingers.

Hohotaro was not the only one dealing with the Behir, as the ones behind the group had managed to stay 'in touch', so to speak, and two of which struck at Solomon's back, each scratching in a different spot against the Imuchakk's backside.

But that was all; they managed to make it to the portal without any further difficulty.

The Scenic Route to Treasure [Hohotaro + Solomon] - Page 2 RaoeZ5L

The two would find themselves in another forested area, this time with large trees and stones with a strange language written upon it. These letters were only slightly smaller in stature than that of the Imuchakk Solomon. There was a set of stairs made of roots on the left, going up and leading to a narrow path that the two could stand on, side-by-side. To their right was a doorway, though no door, to one of the stone buildings that seemed to have a tree growing on top of it. Straight ahead was a stone pathway, narrow and winding, that lead to the only other building within the room. It seemed suspicious, as if it was beckoning the two to go there. Before they had an opportunity to continue forward, however, creatures began rising from the ground. On their side, there were 3 Root Hounds and 1 Spriggan that seemed to form from the ground up. At the same time, on the opposite end, there were another 3 Root Hounds that they could not see but, more importantly, an additional Spriggan and an incredibly large being; the Spriggan King. Though it was unlikely for these two to know of what these creatures were, a killing intent that manifested as a heavy pressure was pushed forward towards the two.

There would be no taking it easy, here...

Hohotaro appeared on the next room panting from all the running and the adrenaline high leaving his body after going through a ravine filled with hostile enemies. He didn't know how many he killed, he already lost count. Honestly he was scared, all  he could think about at that time was running and surviving. He looked at his left hand seeing the minor wound the enemy dealt to him and he just brushed it aside. It's not life threatening and his hand is still functioning like normal.

Hohotaro composed himself and put back his normal happy facade before he turned around to check on his companion. "Haha did you see how cool I was back there?" Hohotaro swings his sword around as he turns. But Hohotaro face turned grim as he saw the state of Solomon was in, he have bruises all over his body and a visible wound on his right shoulder. "Hey Mon... are you alright?" Hohotaro rushed over to Solomon's side to closely examine the wound. Seeing the wound Hohotaro thinks that it should be at least covered. He reluctantly took the bra tied on top of his head and winced as he tear it so that it would be a makeshift bandage. He twists the cloth in an attempt to dry it before he covered up the wound as best as he can Hoping that at least it'll protect the wound and he might be able to use his arm freely without much pain. "There as good as new! Let's go!" Hohotaro says as he points toward the path in front of them.

Just as Hohotaro pointed forward enemies started appearing in front of them. "Oh great more of them... really?" Wood like humanoid creatures appeared from the ground with dog like creatures beside them and also on the other side just beside the building. Then also beside the building at the end of the path rises a giant. "Yeap we're definitely fucked..." Hohotaro steps back a couple of steps away from the enemies and said. "Yeah... so do we agree that we don't want to fight that huge thing over there? Right?"

Hohotaro looks around for another way. Maybe there is a way to avoid fighting the enemies in front of them. He saw a path on their left side with stairs made from a root of a tree. He pokes Solomon and said. "Hey that path looks promising and definitely less deadly... Want to check it out?"

Hohotaro would go to the stairs careful that he won't get inside the attack range of the spriggan and the root hound.

"I did not do so cool." Solomon said as he struggled to lift himself up from the ground, he felt the damage done as he ran but now that he was out of that danger he could feel the sensation through his arm shoulder more then ever. He would allow Hohotaro to bandage him with the bra they picked up from the market previous to coming here, "I cant call you boobie boy anymore if you don't have that." Solomon would say.

As more creatures appeared Solomon would reply to Hohotaro, 'Were fine, but i'll follow the path you wish to take." Even though Solomon said this with the damage that was just done to him if he could avoid it he would, but the chances of that were slim that and there were more beasts of sorts, his urge to wish to capture one flowed through him and almost made his reply to Hohotaro an entire different thing.

Following Hohotaro they would go to the stairs careful that they would not get inside the attack range of the spriggan and the root hound, but he was also cautious, if they were to begin to attack them Solomon would use Molten Spill directly under all of them creating two pools if he had too, then if they would attempt to jump out of the pool Solomon would also use Onyx Wall to block there escape route. He would also use his Rampaging Axe Basic Attack to clash with any melee attack that may be used against him and any ranged attacks he would attempt to use Onyx Wall in hope to block for himself and Hohotaro. Now that Solomon was hurt he would remain much more cautious throughout the journey.

The Root Hounds and the Spriggans did not simply wait as Hohotaro and Solomon made their way to the stairs on the left. They began to chase. The two Imuchakk were much closer to the trees than their opposition, however, and they found themselves scaling the 'stairwell', which looped around the tree in a clockwise fashion. The stairs began as stone, but soon changed to tree roots as they continued forward. It was at this time that the three Root Hounds managed to get to the bottom of the steps; Solomon's proactive attack burned all three in one go; they began burning up, their roots and vines losing their luster and turning into black charcoal. They let out a death screach, causing the Spriggan to move forward and investigate the situation directly. When it saw the pool of lava it waved its hand towards the steps. New roots began to form on the steps beyond the pool of lava, and a new Root Hound appeared with the Spriggan's use of its Nature's Wrath.

Hohotaro and Solomon would find themselves unaware of what occurred down the stairs, as it was far behind them. Instead they would find a dead-end overlooking the the stone pathway that lead over an expanse of a hole and towards the 3 root hounds, Spriggan and Spriggan King that were waiting before a portal. The drop was about 30 meters, and the fall would be enough to cause bruises if they decided to jump, so long as they rolled with their jump.

Unbeknownst to the two, the Root Hound began making its way up the stairs while the Spriggan remained where it was. The root hound would not get to them yet, as the two had a good head start.

No matter how careful Hohotaro and Solomon was in trying to avoid a fight with the enemies they still charged towards them. "I guess we have no choice. It's either kill or be killed. We are not fast enough to outrun them, if we want to survive we have to fight them head on." Hohotaro thought as they raced towards the stairs on the side of the tree.

Three hounds managed to catch up to them as they were running up the stairs. As soon as they are able to reach the base of the stairs the ground beneath them turned into a pool of lava and the enemies immediately turned to charcoal. "Woah Mon! That was awesome. You really burned them good." Hohotaro gives Solomon a little praise as they race towards the top of the stairs but all they saw there was just another dead-end.

Hohotaro looks down and sees a 30m drop. He know that if he jumps from that height he will get a few bruises or worse. He looks at Solomon and said. "Uhm... Mon... do you have any idea so we don't die? haha...." Hohotaro tries to lighten up the mood but his own fear and tension made the joke fell flat.

While Solomon is figuring out how to descend the drop without dying Hohotaro would stand guard cautious whether if anything approach them from behind. If the hound caught up to them and attacks Hohotaro with any ability he would parry the attack with his bare hands and with the same motion give a counterattack kick towards the Hounds side in hopes to kill it. If Hohotaro fails to kill it and it attacks again Hohotaro would use his Hook sword to block the attack and try to kill it with another kick from his other leg.

Hopefully after Hohotaro kills the Hound he would follow Solomon down. Hohotaro see what Solomon did to go down towards the ground and he mimics it exactly so that he would also go to the ground safely rolling on the ground.

Using the momentum from the roll Hohotaro would stand up running towards the winding path and following it to the other side of the chasm doing a full on sprint.

Five seconds would not even go by when Hohotaro asked if he had an idea for getting down, Solomon would immediately use Onyx wall coming out of the tree slightly angled towards the ground about half way between where they were standing and the ground. He did this so they would not be hurt and they could run down the wall towards the ground to not lose any speed as well.  Solomon would immediately back up slightly and run forwards leaping to his wall then to the ground to a sprint towards the other side of the chasm.  He would use his axe to clash with anything that may come towards him in surprise as a basic attack and if he were to make it to a crossing of sorts he would then turn in search of Hohotaro, he would wait for him to reach the crossing before making a pool of lava with Molten Spill to block the path from followers.  In the time he waiting he would also use Weapon Basic Block to protect himself.

As the pair of Imuchakk continued to run, Hohotaro would find himself free from assault as Solomon provided assistance in jumping off of the height they were at. With the Onyx Wall in place, the two made good headway towards the ground and found themselves safe from harm. The continued run forward was called out upon by the Root Hound that they had left behind; a howl that sounded like the rustling of leaves reverberated throughout the immediate vicinity. This sound seemed to somehow tip off the Spriggan, as the creature began moving from the base of the steps where the lava had begun to disappear. The root hound would work its way back down the tree carefully, taking its time to get on the same level as the two Imuchakk and its Spriggan ally.

The two of them would make it to the winding trail before they were closed in upon by the Spriggan. There was a good twenty meters between them and the creature as Solomon placed up a Molten Spill, blocking off the path once more. Turning back to the winding trail, they would find themselves on a similarly sized path as before; enough room for the two Imuchakk to walk side-by-side, but not too much more space; a total of 3.5 meters in width, it was. As the two continued moving forward they would see three Root Hounds approach from the opposite side, with the Spriggan that they had not yet faced bringing forth Nature's Wrath. A fourth Root Hound showed up, moving with the rest of the pack to intercept both Hohotaro and Solomon. It seemed they would meet up at a 5 meter diameter platform that was halfway through.

Each of the four Root Hounds lined up side-by-side, and each fired a vine out; two aiming at Hohotaro, and two aiming at Solomon as they attempted to get both Imuchakk Rooted. Solomon would find it easy to defend against the individual vines that shot out towards him, knocking them aside with his axe as he did a Weapon Basic Block. Hohotaro, on the other hand, would find himself wrapped up with a pair of roots if he didn't respond quickly.

Worse yet was the second Spriggan, which had made its way across the pathway with the rest of the Root Hounds.

OOC:

No damage was dealt this post round. You have blocked off 1 Spriggan from behind with the molten area, but in front there are 4 Root Hounds and 1 Spriggan in wait.

The path to the arena is 3.5 meters in width, with the Arena itself being 5 meters.

The only abilities used by the players so far are Solomon's Onyx Wall, Molten Spill and Weapon Basic Block.

Spriggan2 has 3 posts until its summon is off of cool-down.
Spriggan1 has 2 posts until its summon is off of cool-down.

Hohotaro must deal with 2 C-Tier strength abilities coming his way, which have the status effect of 'body bind' and immobilizes him for 3 posts unless he does something about the roots.

Question from Hohotaro about the distances from the Spriggan and the Root Hounds and themselves, answered below:

I don't know where you guys are, since you only said you were moving forward towards the Root Hounds (further down the path = towards the Root Hounds). Distance from them is up to you, but they wouldn't fire their roots until you were within 10 meters.

The Spriggan is 5 meters behind them. I will add this to the OOC section of the post for clarity's sake.

Hohotaro would use his hook swords to block the incoming attacks from the 2 root hounds in front of them.

He would then defend Solomon’s back from the coming threat behind. Once the enemies reached within 10 meters of them he would charge towards it. He will be readying his Hook swords to parry the incoming attacks from the pair. If Hohotaro successfully parries the hounds attack and he is also close enough for melee range he would use that opportunity to strike the hound with a kick.

If the Hook sword parry was spent up Hohotaro would use his arms to parry one attack that might come from his enemies be it the hound or the spriggan else he will use the remaining parry his hook sword defensive stance ability could do to parry the attacks that might come.

For every parry he does. Hohotaro would use it as an opportunity for an attack towards the attacker if it is within range. Be it for the spriggan or the root hound. Because that’s what he learned from his friend Ruri. Use all the chance your enemy is off balanced to give an attack because that way you would have a better chance of hitting them.

Hopefully Hohotaro would be able to kill the roothound. If he didn’t kill the roothound with his counter attacks he would back down and get ready to defend Solomon’s back.

If he managed to kill the roothound he would start charging towards the spriggan. If and only if the spriggan shoots Hohotaro with another binding thorn would Hohotaro use both his Hook Sword to slash the attack. He would then attack with only his left elbow followed immediately with his left shoulder.

If both attacks hit, Hohotaro would then take his stronger Hook sword in his right hand and slash it at the spriggan an attempt to decapitate the its head from its body and kick it down the chasm just to be sure.

If he was able to kill the spriggan Hohotaro would return to Solomon’s side and follow him. If not he would stay in front of the spriggan to prepare for it’s next attack.

Solomon knew at the point he could probably rely on Hohotaro to have his back, so as Hohotaro charge the enemies behind him Solomon would focus on the spriggan and root hounds in front of him. Immediately Solomon would start with using Molten Spill once again but this time he would have the center of it based on the spriggan rather then the hounds, hoping it would catch some of the hounds anyhow but Solomon knew the main threat was the humanoid figure. Solomon would then take the opportunity as the lava formed to begin his charge towards them, using a Basic Attack with his rampaging axe to clash with anything that was shot towards him or that attack him. Then once in range he would then jump into the air lifting his axe above his head to use Quake  attempting to smash his axe down upon the nearest root hound that escaped his lava. He would then look to any other hound and target the one nearest to him, using his rampaging axe to Basic Attack attempting the lope the beast in half.

If all of the enemies on his side were dealt with he would look to Hohotaro, "What the hell is taking you so long? Use some of the techniques you have learned I know you have some that you have yet to use." he would say before seeing how he held up, if it was still not dealt with on his side Solomon would begin to dash over preparing to use Basic Attack to help defend him and himself and when seeing an opening to smash down with his axe. If there were still Root Hounds to deal with on Solomon's side he would stay and continue to fight relying on his axe to defend himself and attack as a Basic Attack, however if it was the spriggan still alive he would use his Basic Attack to clash with anything he could not dodge, but he would not be defensive at all he would mostly be offensive attempting to always get close to the spriggan in attempt to chop off his head with his axe using Basic Attack.

Hohotaro used his superior strength to resist the root bindings that came for him, defending against them with his twin Hook Swords and keeping them from coiling around his body directly. Not having forgotten the enemies they had left behind at the other end of the bridge, Hohotaro chose to turn and face them. It was not an immediate battle upon his hands, as there was still some time before they would reach him...

Meanwhile, Solomon was fighting the Spriggan in the back of the group of Root Hounds by creating a base of molten lava beneath its feet. The Root Hounds had already begun moving forward, frustrated that their rooting techniques hadn't worked and each of the four wanting a Bite out of the man ahead of them. They were thus unaffected by the lava pool. The Spriggan was too slow on the uptake, however, and found itself in contact with a pool of molten hot lava. It screeched and began running forward, simultaneously casting a One With Nature in an attempt to have it land 14 meters behind it once it reached the end of the lava pool. It was not quite so successful, as it was only 12 meters behind him when the orb of energy sent a healing pulse across the field and healed the Spriggan its dire wounds that had burned away at its legs.

More importantly, Solomon was in the middle of a melee himself. Each of the four hounds wanted to take a bite out of Solomon, the first two being sliced in half with his Axe even as they bit down in a futile effort to resist. Solomon jumped into the air, and one of the Root Hounds jumped after him only to be met mid-air by a Slam-Dunking Imuchakk who bisected the creature made of roots in twain. The last of the Root Hounds paid no heed to its allies having died, and also attempted to bite at Solomon, only to fail as the Axe cut into the creature's teeth and split that one in half as well.

The Spriggan, now only 4 meters away from Solomon, added its own might to the fray as it shot a Thorn towards the Imuchakk, aiming for his midsection just above the groin...

By the time Solomon had engaged the third Root Hound, the Root Hound and Spriggan from behind had caught up to the group. The Root Hound came in to strike at Hohotaro, Hounding him, only to be met with a Defensive Stance. The follow-up of a kick was effective as the creature's roots exploded outward, leaving only half of it remaining. The Spriggan seemed to take exception to this, and shot a Thorn out towards Hohotaro who performed a Double Slash to defend against it. The damage from the thorn seemed to be neutralized as Hohotaro continued running forward, but a side-effect struck the Imuchakk as the sap from the thorn splashed against both arms, immobilizing them completely. His momentum carried him further, and it was his left shoulder that struck the beast which cracked the creatures chest open and sent it falling down the expanse.

He had managed to take care of business behind Solomon, but now all that was left was what was ahead.

OOC:

Spriggan2 has 2 posts until its summon is off of cool-down.

Solomon managed to kill 4 Root Hounds this round, though his weapon took 30 damage in the process. It is at 70/100 weapon hp.

Hohotaro didn't take any damage this round, but both of his arms are immobilized for 3 posts unless you guys do something to remove that sap.

There is 1 Spriggan and 1 Spriggan King remaining as your opposition.

Solomon still has to deal with a Thorn ability coming his way.

Solomon could feel the thrill of combat as he chopped down and thru the different hounds, everything was going well and he could not help but hold a smile on his face as he found it entertaining, he did hate killing such wondrous creatures but since they were the ones to attack him he was not going to just sit and take it. As he looked over to where the pool of lava was he would notice that the spriggan had survived and was now shooting off a thorn spear, about 2 meters in length towards Solomon. Everything was going great with his axe at this moment so if Hohotaro did not make it in time to block the attack he would continue to use it, the using his body to swing down hard as a Basic Attack to clash with the thorn spear. He would notice that Hohotaro was close behind him if he did not make it already for the block and coming towards him, he would leave the rest of the spriggan to Hohotaro to then remove any sap that may have covered him and limit his movement while Hohotaro attacked Solomon would use another Basic Attack if needed to get the sap off him whether that be with his teeth, feet or holding the axe in his mouth while cutting the sap that or he would use the nearby lava in attempt to burn it off without burning himself knowing that the consistency would most likely become less solid if heated he would do what ever would be quickest.

After all the sap is gone and if Hohotaro had successfully kill the spriggan both Solomon and Hohotaro would sprint for the portal, it is not as if they did not notice the King at all but he had yet to attack so they both had probably believed that if the King was docile to best leave him that way or at least Solomon had thought that, just by seeing its size. As they sprinted for the portal if the King did happen to attack them Solomon would use Onyx Wall to boost himself forward to dodge the attack and get himself to the portal as quick as possible, if he had anything that he could not dodge or that would make him stop his sprint he would the use his Rampaging Axe to clash with what it may be as a Basic Attack.

Hohotaro would find that the lava would quickly eat away at the sap, removing it from existence even as the last bit of lava shriveled up. Hohotaro was not free in time, however, to defend against the Thorn that struck against Solomon's Axe swing; in fact, the Imuchakk would be able to see the thorn going for Solomon as he ran towards the pool of lava. When the ability collided with Solomon's axe, Solomon would feel the vibrations from the sheer weight and strength behind the attack. The downward force of the Imuchakk's swing deflected a majority of the sap in the same direction, keeping Solomon from being in the same exact sticky situation that Hohotaro had found himself in.

Instead, Solomon would find his legs completely covered in the sap that was released by the ability, and his Axe seemed to have a crack in it. Even so Solomon worked on clearing the sap from his legs with the help of his axe. Before long, the man would find himself capable of moving.

But first there was Hohotaro's movements. He loyally worked towards protecting Solomon from the Spriggan. The green creature raised its fist in the air, intending to slam it down on the man who was before him. Before the fist could fall the familiar sight of Hohotaro's back filled Solomon's vision and the standing Imuchakk rose his arm and parried the attack away.

The creature darted backwards at the arrival of Hohotaro, as it was out-numbered at that point. Now, 10 meters away, it prepared itself for the next round of battle...

OOC:
Hohotaro was able to use the lava and not Solomon for 2 reasons. Any ability lasts for a maximum of 1 post of the player. This means that at the beginning of your next post, the ability is over. Hohotaro posted before you did, allowing the lava to exist. The second reason is clashing; the lava clashed against the C-Tier sap. Since two C-Tier abilities clashed, this reduced both abilities to nothing.

Solomon: C-Tier damage to Solomon's Axe from an ability deals 50 weapon damage. Axe is at 20/100 weapon hp. Sap struck both legs. Without using abilities it will take the entire post to remove the sap from your legs. You are free to act in this upcoming post.

Spriggan2 has can cast its summon next post.
Spriggan King is still there. Sprinting past the normal Spriggan is not yet an option, as Solomon will not have recovered use of his legs until the beginning of his post.
