A black haired man was just finished to help delivering ore to local blacksmith as he unlocking his inn room and went inside. Home sweet home… He murmured under his breath and headed to sit on the bed before he grab his Katana and the cleansing tools. The man looked at Guren with an admiration while opening the sheathe slowly, he was proud of his beautifully crafted Katana and never went anywhere without it near by his side. He spent quite a long time to clean his Katana, but after he finished, the day still has a long way to go since it was not even dark yet even though the dusk had set in. Tenma closed his eye slowly and leaned his back on the bed, thinking what he should do beside sleep early and play a musical instrument. Well he knew he always could do this thing and he was in the mood the have some right now, so he sighed and stood up, heading out from the inn after taking his Katana along with him.

As soon as the swordsman arrived on his favorite tavern in town, well, thanks to his acquaintance for telling him about this nice place, Tenma pushes the wooden door and entered. He raised an eyebrow since the scenery inside the tavern was quite unusual for him, Not so many people here… He lifted his hand and scratched the back of his head lightly before heading to the nearby table and took a seat. Usually the place will be full at this time and he could only pick a seat near the counter, but today was different as only several people enjoyed their drinks and no one else was there. He chuckled mentally, closing his eye again for a second and wondered, This is unusual... Will something interesting happen today…? Heh… He quickly revealed his golden orb when the barmaid approached him and asked what he wanted to order. The one eyed man gave the woman a playful smile without any special meaning behind it and was ready to order until the woman suddenly blushed hard and stuttering, making the swordsman wondered what had happened. He would stand up and bend down to grab the woman’s hands lightly and lifted her up, “Are you sick, milady?” He moved his face closer to the barmaid, wanting to check if the woman has fever or not but was stopped by the lady herself. She asked Tenma to let her down and clearing her throat, slightly averting her gaze and asked what the man wants to order. “Hmm… I’d like 5 bottles of whiskey and a portion of Kofta. Thank you, milady.” He sent a smile again towards the woman and watching as she quickly bowed down before walking away with a red face. Hmm… It’s quiet… He looked up at the ceiling and reaching for his flute, then he started to play an instrument to accompany everyone who enjoyed their drinks in the tavern.

Another day, another bottle of wine. He was by no means a wine connoisseur but with his travels he was able to experience the many tastes of Kou, Reim, and so on. But that wasn't the only thing he got tastes of, having taste of the cheaper and heavier ales. But back on topic, he reached the country of Heliosapt, to get information for himself and his shattered memory though it didn't mean that he wasn't all that thirsty. He was able to get into the city with the greatest of ease, with a huge caravan going into the city, he place a mask on and blended with the people without having to pay the toll and wrapping his shield and sword in wrapping to make them look as if they were just farms tools. He looked to the sky for a moment then continued his walk into the city and it was crowded as usual.

He took the time to memorize the shifts of the guards and how many would guard at a time. After doing so, He takes off his mask with a slight yawn, last thing he wanted was to look too suspicious. "And to look as any other person I should drink." He said out loud as if he was already intoxicated. A few people laughed, others avoided not wanting trouble, and so he walked into the bar. He ordered himself a drink, in fact a few of the larges size. While looking around awaiting for something to happen next.

Lestacia walked into the bar with Hiro, staff at her side. She wore a red dress this time. Lestacia had the money to pay for everyones toll so she just waltzed right in. She had enough money to do whatever she wanted. She could've splurged it all on clothes and jewelry but she had a goal in mind, so for the time being she was saving it up. Examining the room Lestacia realized the place was dead, except for a few drunks, dancers, and common folk. Lestacia was mesmerized by the dancers movements. They were better than she was. Better than her by far. Regardless of the fact the music was getting to her. The Dancers saw her subtle movements and dragged her to the floor.

"Oh no...I-I-I couldn't." Lestacia said attempting to pull away however the dancers were pretty persuasive. So Lestacia ended up dancing anyways. She jumped and twirled with the dancers as she switched partners left and right. One boy got really close and made Lestacia blush red. The dance was over for her after that. She straightened her hair and sat down at the bar next to Tenma, twisting her hair and wiping sweat off her face. She panted heavily. She'd never danced so much before in her life. She watched the other dancers however and it brought a smile to her face. Today had been a fun day. She got to fight bandits, go to a bar with Axel, and to top it off, she danced like there was no tomorrow.

Lestacia's staff fell down and hit Tenma who still playing the flute. She gathered it quickly as she wiped a bit of sweat from her forehead. "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean for that to happen." She attached the staff onto her back and introduced herself. "Hi I'm Lestacia nice to meet you."

Today was one of the few days that Kaveh's to-do list didn't exist at all. HIs mother had all of the groceries that she needed and was feeling fine enough to be up and taking care of all of the house needs on her own. This was a bit of a relief for Kaveh. He could finally take a day and devote it to himself. It was his "day off," so to speak. The magician made his way through the streets of Heliohapt and found himself in front of the tavern that he usually sits down at for a drink or two. A small smile formed on his face, and he casually strolled into the establishment.

Kaveh's cloak hung from his shoulders as he watched a few of the people moving from the bar to the lobby's seating area, and vice versa. There seemed to be an unusual sight in the tavern this night though. There was a group of women and men dancing on the main floor. Kaveh chuckled at the dancers as there was a girl among them that seemed to be dressed quite differently than the natives of the country. There was another man a few seats down at the bar with red hair and unusual clothing. More tourists, it seems. He thought to himself as the younger girl sat next to a familiar frame. Without another thought, Kaveh sat next to the red headed foreigner and looked straight at the bartender, but his words were directed towards the red haired man to his right. "So where are you from?"

He never thought his music would bring a life to the tavern, making some people brought out their musical talent too and made the tavern become more lively even though not like its usual lively. Some ladies approached him and motioned him to come on the stage so he could continue playing his flute while those ladies dancing happily which he gladly refuse by shaking his head lightly and gave those girls a bright smile. He would rather stay on his spot and enjoyed how he played the instrument. He raised an eyebrow as one of the dancer pull a little blonde girl on the stage and made her dance as well, he decided to not question it any far and closed his eyes while kept playing the happy instrument from his flute.

Tenma noticed the young girl sat next to him and was amused to see the girl panted and sweating heavily, but he still continue to play his flute until the girl’s staff fell down. With a great reflex, the swordsman instantly stopped to play his flute and lift his hand up to catch the staff. He then smiled at the girl who quickly gathered it and wiped her sweat again, asking for apologize as she did so. When she introduced herself, Tenma smiled brightly, “Are you okay, milady?” He asked softly, closing the gap between his and the girl’s face to check if she was alright or not. Then he continued, “My name is Tenma, it is a pleasure to meet you young lady.” He reached inside his coat to take a handkerchief and carefully use it to wipe sweat on Lestacia’s cheek before handing it for her, “You can use this, it’s clean.”

He then saw a familiar figure sitting next to the red haired man and he stood up before calling, “Kaveh?” He would gave them a friendly smile and said, “Join us here! And the red haired man, you can come to join us also. Let’s have a friendly drinking round, eh? First round is on me.” After saying that, he would sit back and gazed at the young girl, wondering if she could drink or not. "Can you drink, milady?" He would then give her a worried look before taking a bottle of sake and sipped some.

It's been sometime since Hiro visited a tavern or even a place of relaxation. Hiro often wondered what he did in his spare time in the past other than drink or train by his lonesome. From the looks of things he weren't much different from others in this world. It was a luxury in itself just to be able to do this now that he thought about it. As trashy as a tavern seemed to be it was filled with life and people who only wish to enjoy themselves, despite the battles they may face in their daily lives. They came here to drink and meet new people whether it be a friend encounter or not. He continued to quietly drink by himself until heard a familiar voice. "Lestacia?" He thought, "why is she here? Does she even drink?" Hiro didn't know and was slightly surprised by her arrival.

He looked back to make sure she was safe for a moment and saw that she was making a new friend. She was a bit too friendly for her own good, but he was here if anything were to happen. He let out a sigh and quietly went back to drinking. His silence was disturbed as a young man made an appearance and asked where he was from. It took him a moment to realize that the young man was speaking to him since he was more focused on his drink. After taking a long chug and lowering his cup, he was about to answer but was cut off by another voice. He looked back to the voice and let out another heavy sigh. It was the boy Lestacia was talking with.

At first he was going to ignore him and let the girl make new friend but after an offer of free drink having travel all this way. Might as well take him up on his offer, Hiro looked to the young man to came to speak with him first and with a wave of his head signaled him to follow if he wished. He walked over to Lestacia and took a seat next to her remaining silent then ordered a drink under the mysterious' man tab and continued his drinking giving the young man a nod and a raise of his up as thanks.

Lestacia was suprised at the mans kindness. He not only accepted her apology but he also gave her his handkerchief so she could wipe the sweat that lied upon her face. Lestacia thanked the gentleman. "Why thank you mister Tenma." It was rare to find a gentleman, let alone one in a bar. Alas Lestacia's shift was about to start and she didn't want to be late for starting work. She eye'd the bartender and he held up five fingers signifying she could have 5 extra minutes with her friends, she smiled and shook her head. It was better she started working now than later besides, Tenma seemed to know someone else at this bar who showed up. He'd have company, it wasn't like she was going to leave him alone. So she excused herself from the table and walked into the backroom. There she put her street clothes into the locker and her work clothes on.

Lestacia's Work Clothes:

She tied up her hair and walked out to take over the current bartender's shift. At least she could make extra money doing this. Although the missions she went on did pay out quite a bit. Regardless she was working now and had to tend to the other guests who had taken up on Tenma's generous gift to those who were already in the bar. After serving the other costumers, she was finally ready to take the orders from Kaveh , Hiro, and Tenma. "Sorry, I don't drink sadly. Since it's a slow day today we can still talk with minimal interuptions." She smiled and brought out an extra bottle of Sake. "This one's on me." She said smiling as she washed some of the glasses out.

Kaveh's chocolate eyes traveled from the bartender and his assortment of alcohol behind him to peer at the red headed man out of the corner of his eyes. He quietly studied the man's form and committed his facial features to memory. Foreigners were common. People would often drift in and out of Heliohapt. It was easy to spot them. Their hereditary traits were almost completely different from the natives'. Kaveh himself was an example. While his skin was no longer pale, due to living in the sun-loved land, his complexion still wasn't as tanned as the men and women of Heliohapt. His hair also differed strongly. While the natives' hair was white or a silverish gray, Kaveh's was a chocolate browh, matching his eyes. Even still... this man was setting off an alarm in the back of Kaveh's mind. He had heard rumor of a group of people with red hair whose legs were as strong as steel and were as quick as a bolt of lightning. He... No. His eyes... they aren't red. He thought to himself, trying to assure himself that one of the Fanalis weren't in this tavern. If that were true, this wouldn't be the best place to be.

While the red magician was silently analyzing the stranger, a familiar voice rang throughout the tavern. Kaveh could only chuckle. It was the exact same way Tenma called to his other friend when he first met them. Oh Tenma... He thought as the man loudly offered to pay for Kaveh's and the red haired man's drinks. Kaveh was a little disappointed as the man stood. He could see the man's lips part for only a second, as if he were going to respond to the magician's question. Luckily, the man motioned for Kaveh to join them. Kaveh's eyebrow raised as he stood slowly and let his cloak fall over his arms. He made his way at a decent pace, following the man and joining Tenma at the table. As they approached the spot, one of the girls that Kaveh noticed dancing before left Tenma's side and made her way to the back of the tavern. As Kaveh sat down, his head was in the direction of the girl and slowly turned towards Tenma. "Tenma... were you flirting with that girl?" Kaveh's famous smile was quickly found on his face after his questioning.

He would wait patiently for Tenma's answer and whenever the one-eyed swordsman would seem to finish explaining himself, Kaveh would turn his attention back to the red haired man. He's a silent one, huh? Strange... Kaveh's thoughts began to wander again. A tourist that didn't seem interested in speaking with people from Heliohapt? Even stranger, a tourist not wanting to speak to people who obvious weren't from Heliohapt?! It was a suspicious sign to the magician. Kaveh was a master at not letting his face show what he was thinking, though. The smile that he gave Tenma was still on his face, as his attention shifted. "You never answered me, by the way. It doesn't matter... it was rude of me to ask something like before introducing myself in the first place. My name is Kaveh Issa. Its nice to meet you."

Before he knew it, the girl from before had emerged again. This time, she was wearing a strange maid outfit. What...? Kaveh blankly stared at the girl for a moment as she set the bottles of sake down on their table. Kaveh's confusion faded almost instantly. "Thank you, miss!" Things are starting to get weird around here... He thought to himself as he sat with the visitors.

Tenma was more than delighted to have more people joining in the table, as he believed that the more is merrier. When the red haired man and Kaveh approached the table, he smiled warmly, motioning them to take a seat. He raised an eyebrow when the young girl beside him stood up and went to the back side of the tavern, making him wondered if Lestacia work in this tavern. His guess was true as the girl came back but with different appearance, she was wearing a cute looking maid costume but he didn’t bother to call her again to join because he thought she had to work. As the magician suddenly asked him a question, Tenma laughed a little, amused about the reason behind the magician’s question. “Just being friendly! Did that look like flirting?” He chuckled again, knowing he was not actually interested in romance right now and never mean to flirt with some ladies. Well, he was pretty much a natural sweet-talker, he knew that himself and he had good relationship with some females in his past but not intended to have a romantic relationship. He was a very simple man though, he still could fall in love with someone but it was not in his thought and not his primary priority right now.

The young girl suddenly approached their table again, bringing an extra bottle of Sake which was Tenma’s favorite. He would then stood up and bowed a little to the young girl, saying a thank you with a smile carved on his face. Without hesitation he will pour the sake for Kaveh and Hiro, then to his own cup before lifting it and said, “To Miss Lestacia for this delicious Sake…” He would look directly on the girl’s eyes before sipped the liquid in his cup and sat back again, motioning the young girl to sit down to id she want. After that, his eyes gazed at the red haired man, “I can see you are not a native, may I ask where are you coming from, Sir?” he would then sip his cup again before continuing, “Oh, my name’s Tenma by the way.” He would wait for the red haired man’s answer before looking at the magician, giving him a friendly nod and asked with a smile, ”Anything new, Kaveh?”

He was far from home; where ever that was, the warrior close his eyes for a moment thought of the most recent clear memory he had in mind. He had awoken to a field surrounded by the dead, the smell of burning grass and blood. His vision blurry but he could see that he was on the outskirts of a village near the city of magicians. Not too long after, maybe a few weeks to a month, he met up Lestascia and Axel. With another drink of his free ale. He placed his drink down for a moment and let out a sigh from their insistent questioning of where he was from. Though they were more entitled to some sort of answer since one of the two asking bought him a drink. As he was about to speak, one of his traveling companions appeared once more in an outfit that befitted her but surprised him none the less. He took another drink and then stared at the little girl.

When did she even get a job at the bar?! They made their arrival only a few days ago. Lestacia's youth and hard-working nature was a pleasant surprise to the warrior. Traveling to a new place and able to find a way of income right away. His mood lightened even more when she brought out another bottle of sake which he happily, poured each of them a glass full and raised his glass. "I am Hiro, let this be our first drinks of many." He said trying to avoid having to talk about himself. After the little toast that he made he chugged his entire glass and poured himself another then again chugged the whole thing. "Can you boys handle your drink?" He asked with a laugh.

Lestacia blushed a bit. This maid costume was a joke, for all the new employees a hazing ritual of sorts. It wasn't like she was forced to wear it every day. Maybe if she made Hiro speak it'd move conversation of her mode of dress to something else. She nudged the boy with a light smile as she carried a tray in her hands. "Go on Hiro Introduce yourself." For the first time since they got there he spoke, but it was of liquor. She pouted. "Hiro, don't make me have to limit how much you drink." She put 3 bottles on the table just in case. "If you waste all your money on Sake, Neither me or Axel will lend you any."

She was telling him off in front of everyone now. Setting the platter down behind the counter she got a new one and watched the others as they drinked. Although she was younger than the man, she knew how drunk he could get. Sometimes it felt like she was the adult and he was the child. She took a seat by Kaveh but closer to Hiro. "As he said before that's Hiro. He was nice enough to accompany me on my journey here with another person." Lestacia smiled to them and introduced herself to Kaveh. "By the way I'm Lestacia, from Magnostadt." The purple mage sighed and rested her head on Hiro's shoulder. "Don't act so shy Hiro, thats my job." She smiled at him smartly. Really and truly she didn't care how much the man drunk but the same could not be said for her manager. This was going to take a chunk out of her payment.

Well it was a start. Kaveh was glad that Hiro finally introduced himself. He could overlook the obvious attempt at changing the subject from the man, so long as he got some kind of information out of the foreigner. His name is Hiro and he feels uncomfortable talking to us about himself. Interesting. Kaveh thought to himself as he reached out for his cup and took a swig of the alcohol. Between Tenma's ale, and the young girl's gift of a fancy kind of wine, Kaveh had a feeling that the group of men were going to indulge in an almost frightening amount of alcohol. I'll have to stay sober... sorry guys. The magician thought to himself as he toasted with Hiro and Tenma before taking another swig.

The next thing he knew, the girl was sitting between him and the red haired man. She seemed to be scolding the obviously older of the two, Hiro. Kaveh couldn't help but chuckle at this scene and take another sip of his drink. Tenma's voice soon caught the magician's attention and Kaveh found himself looking over at the one-eyed swordsman. "New? Not much really. Just been trying to to help my mother, still. Yourself?"

After answering the swordsman's question, he heard the girl speak up once more. She introduced herself and the land which she hailed from. This caused Kaveh to raise an eyebrow and take an interest in the girl. "From Magnostadt? Miss Lestacia... would you happen to be a magician?" Even Kaveh knew about that nations affinity towards magical beings over humans.

Tenma laughed happily and lifted his mug to the redhead, “Can you, handle your drink?” He gulped down the entire thing in his mug and put the mug back on the table. He was amused when the girl scolded Hiro, to be able to saw such scene was very interesting for the swordsman. The girl was very brave with her act and Tenma laughed a little but quickly stopped himself, asking Lestacia for more Sake, “I would like to order 15 bottles of Sake, Miss Lestacia.” He felt like drinking a lot today and having another man who likes to drink as well was going to make his day better, but then he held himself when Lestacia said that to the man and just smiled. “Well, since tonight is on me, you don’t have to worry about your money at all. Unless you cannot drink too much?” Tenma chuckled.

As he lifted a bottle and poured the Sake into his mug, he would gaze to Kaveh, “Same. Not much happening. But how’s your mother?” Tenma looked at the magician with a warm smile but if Kaveh was observant enough, he would notice that there was a hint of sadness there. And it was true, the swordsman missed his family, so much to the point that the feeling began to engulf him into insanity. Deep inside, he had this dark thoughts, he thought what if he killed his mother… will the magician become the same as him? Will he curse the world? But no, he closed his eye and gulped down the alcohol, forcing himself to stop thinking about it. He could see the magician having this similar vibe as him in the past, a person who loved his family a lot and was ready to do anything for his family. Well he didn’t know for sure if the long haired man was truly a person like that, but he just wished that he wouldn’t be like the one eyed man when the time came. We don’t need more people like me…
