Job Name: Reliving Glory Days (Repeat)
Job Rank: D-Tier
Job Location: All Major Cities
Job Rewards: 50 XP, 3000 Huang
Job Overview: An old soldier is drunk at the local tavern, telling bawdy stories of his better years. The customers are getting annoyed and the tavern keeper wants him out. Either escort the man home and listen to a story or put him out of his misery.

Drinking good wine with friends was always an enjoyable past time for Liber even when he was a slave, but alas tonight he was intoxicating alone and without even an acquaintance to keep him company. The former assassin sat solitary by a fire to keep ward from to cool night air coming in through a tavern window sipping at a small goblet whilst looking at the other patrons with a dash of envy. Many had come to drink with companions and work mates and there was a general atmosphere of merriment to which he was merely an outsider to. A spectator unfortunate enough to be to new in town to really know anyone just yet.

There was one factor that was putting a damper on everyone's mood however and it was the incessant ramblings of an old man who had one too many cups of ale or wine. He insisted that everyone listen to tales of how he once fought as a captain in Reim's navy and fought off all manner of sea beasts. Tired of the old codger's reminiscing the barkeep sighed and called out, "Anyone willing to take this fossil home for the night? He's been here since morning and I doubt he's gonna pay his tab till he sobers up! I'll give whoever helps out some of the money he owes me."

Recognizing his own personal need for coin and finding the wallowing in self pity to be making the wine taste bad, Liber rose his hand to the barkeeps offer and accepted the task of carrying the old drunk to his home. The fanalis walked over to the man and lifted one of the drunkard's arms over his shoulder. "Alright, lets get you back home tough guy." Liber grunted as the old veteran finished singing a marching song he claimed made the men fight like barbarians. "Thanks, his house is just down the street, it's the one on the corner to your right if you take a left out the door." The bartender advised and with those directions, Liber headed out the door bringing the old man along with him.

As Liber carried the old man home he rambled on about an old battle against Heliohapt which he had apparently been the only Reim survivor of, "You see kid, it wasn't like these peaceful times! When the those dark skinned scoundrels started pushing into the Western Front, everyone was called to enlist who had an able body and a good sword hand. It was my first battle that day, you wouldn't believe how many guys pissed themselves. Not me though, I knew how to fight, got taught every day by ma father. Anyways, the first squad I was in got dispatched to retake some small outpost that was supposed to only have a handful of Heliohaptan's in it. But when we got there we were ambushed something fierce. Arrows fallin from tha' sky like rain drops. I'd have been done for, but my cap'n tackled me to the ground. Guess he couldn't stand seein' a young boy with a bright future go down like that. Anyways, he took about a dozen arrows I probably should've. I still took a few of em to the chest but they lost enough force going through that captain tha...Blwaagggffspppt!" The old man paused and turned to the side before vomiting. Liber wasn't sure if it was from the memory or from the booze. "Uggh...where was I? Oh, yeah! The best part! I kissed my wife on the nose instead of the lips. It was one heck of a funny wedding! in his drunken stupor the man had tangented into a completely different story for some reason.

Liber reached the old man's home and sighed relieved as he opened the door and turned the geezer over to his wife. "Sorry for the trouble dear, he always gets like this on pay day." The crone apologized and then dragged her husband inside by the ear. With that done, Liber would return to his own temporary home, an inn room that was just as lonely as the tavern. At least the next time Liber goes drinking he can count on a bit of money coming his way.
