THe noble architect known simply by the name of Ustad had recently came across a large supply of magical tools that were given to him by his master while he was in Balbadd when he completed his apprenticeship. He knew roughly what they were and did but had never had the chance to use them before. His master had retired as an architect and with Ustad as his last but not best student he decided to gift him these tools.
He was currently sorting through these items when the door to his abode would suddenly swing open with great gusto. He would turn suddenly with great annoyance at the disturbance that has decided to grace his path this day.
Standing in the door was a man, presumably merridian and wearing a dark blue button up shirt that did not fit the style of the region and a straw hat on top of his head.
"Greetings tis I! The great sculptor of these lands! Josser Tabaq but you my friend can call me Joss since we are friends after all" The glasses wearing man would walk into the residence of the sculptor before he even had a chance to say anything and would look around.
"Ah! I must say Ustad my friend that you do have a talent making fine architecture. Although I will say that it is disgustingly plain as far as color goes. I am not much of a painter but we must change this if I am going to continue living here!"
The architect would be flabbergasted as this so called artist had just intruded inside of his domain and then promptly went to critique his art then mention about staying here.
"Listen here! I do not know who you are but you are clearly not an architect or you would know that color is unnecessary and drab. It takes away from the magnificent designs that I made. Also why do you mention about living here? I have made no such offer and as this is my building no one else can force a nuisance such as yourself upon me"
"You are correct friend, I am not an architect as you protest. But I am right in what I say, if you go about it in the right manner the color and designs you add will not distract but accentuate what you have already made. As for my residency here, I have decided that myself and there is nothing you can do to stop me. I have heard of the architect that built his own residency without informing the builders guild and then broke into a man's home who killed his wife and repaired said residency before charging him for. From what I have heard you seem to be greatly entertaining and i am sure i will find a lot of inspiration living here so here I am."
Ustad would be taken a back and find himself at a loss of words. What the other artist had said about color was in fact true and not something that he had thought of. He hated to admit it but the advice was useful. Add to that Ustad did not like dealing with troubling scenarios and could tell that would be what he was facing if he continued to try to get rid of the intruder. He hated the mere thought of it but it seemed less of a hassle to let him stay then to remove him.
"Fine but stay out of my room and I do not want to see your art all over the house. I find sculptures to be tedious and do not deign to see them daily."
Joss would not be listening to any of this as he brings in a bag of his art supplies as well as two blacks of marble he had resting just outside of the house and out of Ustad's View.
"Great now I will say that I have an idea for the both of us to collaborate on. Since I am ana architect that stands above all others I want to show that with installations that stand above everything else. And who better to help then the crazed architect who clearly seems to have big plans of his own?"
"As much as i hate it already it does intrigue me to attempt this, making architecture that is elevated higher than all others so why not"
With this the art fellowship of UStad's and Joss's has begun to take shape/

- Joss the Sculptor:
Name: Josser ‘Joss’ Tabaaq
Tier: D Tier [Plot NPC]
Damage Required to Defeat: D Tier + Borg
Description: A former student at the Magnostadt academy, Joss dropped out because he had learnt everything he wanted. Proficient at Water magic and teaching himself Strength and Life magics, he went back home to Balbadd and set up a sculpting workshop in the capital’s outskirts. After years of sculpting, however, Joss decided to travel across the world - because why not! - and met Ustad and Dasom. He now wants to create and display a sculpture at the highest point of every country to showcase his work to everyone in the entire world!
Joss is quite the eccentric - surprise, surprise - and loves his sculptures more than anything else. If he sees some inspiration, he will often stop whatever he is doing and start sculpting at a moment’s notice! It might have been this trait that made his Magnostadt professors so frustrated. Joss has such a charming personality, however, that nobody can resist laughing at his jokes. This has been useful in his line of work, as he can easily talk a potential model into working for him without much hassle. Joss has a high opinion of himself as well, both in terms of skill and looks. While it is true that he is rather handsome, with well-kempt hair and a wicked smile, his taste in fashion is often outdated or bizarre. He has a love for the fez in particular, but will go hunting for new hats whenever he travels to another place for the first time.
Weapons:- Starter Wand:
- Name: Point Plank
Tier: D Tier
Material: Oak Wood
Appearance: This wand is actually a modified potter’s needle, around 14 centimetres in length, with a mahogany handle and a variety of point sizes. Perfect for cutting off lumps, improving uneven rims and casting magic!
Traits:- Look At Me, Babe:
- Trait Name: Look at Me, Babe!
Trait Tier: D Tier
Trait Requirement: Be Joss
Trait Description: A charismatic man with looks and charms in spades, Joss makes people want to listen to him - and often model for him as well. As his fame and artistic prowess grows, it will become hard for people to ignore his requests!
Trait Effect: Joss can distract other NPCS and even get in the way of PCs. He can also persuade NPCs to listen to him, making them more likely to agree to whatever is being asked.
- Let’s Sweeten The Deal:
- Trait Name: Let’s Sweeten the Deal?
Trait Tier: D Tier
Trait Requirement: Be Joss
Trait Description: As charming as he is, Joss needs money to keep his travel budget from reaching zero. Ever anxious about his, he will leverage his status to get even just one more dime out of a contractor or client.
Trait Effect: When brought into a job or assignment, Joss will grant an extra 3,000 huang (equivalent to the human bonus) as long as he helps in some way.
- Damn, Ain’t That Fancy:
- Trait Name: Damn, Ain’t That Fancy!
Trait Tier: D Tier
Trait Requirement: Be Joss and have the Plot NPC status
Trait Description: Even if he dropped out, Joss has learnt some tricks from the Magnostadt academy. In particular, he has learnt how to modify his sculptures and other structures with magic.
Trait Effect: When brought into an assignment, Joss may work a magic circle equivalent to his tier into part of a structure being made. He may only do this once every two months and the spell in the magic circle must be approved before the assignment - and must be one of the magic types he knows.
This trait and the NPC himself will upgrade to C Tier when the following condition is met: Joss must partake in one job or assignment of his tier in a country where he has created and displayed a sculpture on the highest peak of that country. He will upgrade to B Tier when he does two jobs or assignments in a second country doing the same, A Tier with three jobs or assignments in a third country and Omega Tier with four.
Abilities:- First-Class: Joss points his wand towards a location within 30 metres, producing an ice sculpture with Water magic. The sculpture will have the features of his most recent model with dimensions dependent on the model (but no larger than 3 metres tall and 2 metres wide). It will also have D Tier item durability, lasting until broken.
- Second-Place: Joss thrusts his wand downwards and moulds a block of earth up to 4m x 4m x 4m within 20m into any form he wants with Strength magic. It can deal or receive D Tier damage before dissipating.
- Third-Rate: Joss swipes his wand and turns a surface under 15m long and 10m wide into a frozen ice sheet with Water magic. If someone steps on the ice sheet, their speed will be reduced by one tier and their movement difficult to control, travelling from one end to the other.
