The aged and wizen magician known as Silva could feel new bound strength filling his body, one he did not even know of when he was in the prime of his youth as an assassin. This was mostly in relation to the strange physique that he gained from a magic crystal he had discovered and then once again when he had won the power of a dungeon and gained the body of a magician at least 2 decades younger than he truly was at the ripe old age of 75 now since he had first lost his memories.

He wanted to begin to put this newfound strength into some good use. He did not want to use this power for the same purpose that the Old, forgotten Silva had used it for but instead to help those in need. To be more of a supporter and someone who helps grow talent rather then someone whose sole purpose was to cut down that talent before it could make it to blossom. And his skill set from now own would relate to all of these newfound beliefs.

All of his magic types now besides his first were suited for support and disruption spells which is what his new focus would be. He would no longer be using the Shou family’s residence for concern of getting the children there caught up in the middle of his spells. Instead he would go some a small hilly area that would appear to be vacant for the most part, excluding a few frolicking forest critters. This would prove to be a suitable practice ground for the elderly man.

First though, would be him sitting down in the grass to meditate and plan out what these spells would do. The ancient being knew that this sort of thing, skills for combat, took a lot of patience and cunning in order to make something that will be versatile in combat and not just one use type of spell. Having an arsenal of attacks is good but when they are limited to certain requirements or situations to use then that limits your potential greatly. No it was best to have spells you could use anytime, even if there was a risk of inhibiting your own allies.

These spells would be best against groups of people but would also work well one a one versus one type of combat. They will end up being domes of magic that will not attack the sense so much as reduce or completely negate the senses them personally. The best form for these spells would be in a dome that was 100 meters in diameter with the aged teacher in the center of all of it. It would be much more of a convenience if he pulled all of the negative affects together which would be a huge save on casting time as well as for his magoi reserves. The only real downside to this, which was the main reason for not doing it this way, is that combining the effects would weaken each on individually and make it all the easier for those caught in the dome to overcome these short comings.

The initial dome would be the one that is most important. It should not be something subtle but in your face and loud, a starting move that would take everyone by surprise and fill them with uncertainty or hesitation. That would be the initial function for the Hear no Evil spell. Taking away the use of site by negating all possible visibility would cause even battle hardened generals or strategists to find pause in their follow up actions.

He would just need to envision how exactly he would go about in handling this spell. Perhaps what would prove to be easiest for the old man to envision would be a thin layer of light magic that would create the shell of the dome and prevent any light from entering it by completely absorbing the light that would hit the dome making it pitch black underneath this layer of magic. Of course there was always a chance of someone with a powerful light or magic spell or tool that could break through the darkness but that would only be part of the dome since most would not have such a wide range spell of light. Now this would also affect the old and aged caster as well but there were always ways that he could circumvent this drawback.

He would stand up, grabbing his staff as he begins to prepare for the actual casting of the spell. He would start off small, channeling his magoi through his staff, using it as a medium or a catalyst, before slamming it into the ground. His first attempt would result in what would be a 5 meter dome of weak magic that would just cause a fluttering dimming affect. He would spend about 2 days working on this, each time creating a dome that was a bit darker until it managed to completely obstruct any light from entering the interior of the dome.

The magician would spend the next week working on the larger, fully functional version of this spell, the one that he would actually use. At first it was dim and full of holes, one time a nearby bird landed on it and shattered the entirety of the amalgamation created by the rukh. But by the end of the week he would finally have achieved his goal, a dome of magic that was as dark as the abyss underneath.

It took longer than he would have liked but he was not a prodigal genius at this, he had to put all of his work he could muster into making these spells. SO it was to no surprise when he was done training that he would sit down sweating, needing to take a break before he even though about what the next spells would be capable of doing. In fact he would go to the tent that he had made and sleep to prepare for more training.
