The golden magician of sound would be busy cooking up the next stage of his plan for introducing the sumo stable of his to the world of kina. His plan was focused on two different end goals for this. The first being publicity, the name of Shou and El could not spread out if they do not have matches on a regular basis that remain entertaining to the audiences. Having a steady flow of matches would also end up increasing their renown as well as their rankings in the realm of the sumo. However, this was not his only focus. There was a sort of animosity between the two of his students, the aspiring sumo and the wandering mercenary. El had seen himself as the superior student due to the fact that he was larger and had actual combat experience. While on the other hand, Shou did not like how his fellow student treated sumo as if it was something easy that any foreigner could do. This has brewed some strife between the two of them and Silva thought that this would probably be the best way to make them become friends and throw away this wall that stood between them. So overall the plan was for this exhibition match to help solve two of the problems that have popped up for the self made sumo stable.

Silva would have them practice with each other while he set up preparations for their match in secret, not wanting his students to figure out what was going on. These practice bouts would not be intense as they were meant to drill in the basics and not be about going all out to decide who was the best. However, against the desire of their teacher they would keep track of their wins in the practice matches. El had the higher amount of wins but despite this Shou had a more consistent rate of winning. This would show that while el did in fact have superior strength and ability in combat but Shou had practiced daily since he was initially taught by his master and he used that practice to succeed time after time against stronger wrestlers. Yet with each loss both had grown more eager to prove their worth in the sumo world and to prove themselves the better student.

Silva would go through the normal channels of the sumo world to spread word of his students match but would also do so in other methods such as word of mouth as well as flyers. Word would spread quickly since both were starting to become popular names in the world of this sport. Shou was an up and coming rookie that was winning matches without a single loss yet despite his age being well above normal for a sumo. As for el he had been given the name of a demon and was quite well known as a mercenary from beyond this country and seemed to be dominating with his ginormous amount of strength. So with all of this in mind the match was starting to stir up quite a buzz amongst the citizens of kina.

He would announce the upcoming bout to his students mere days before the official date of it. They would look quite a bit surprised by the mention of this. They could not fully understand the reason behind their teacher having them battle each other. They came close to having a match against the other a month or two ago during the rookie tournament but was unable due to El losing in the semi finals to his opponent.

The middle aged sumo would look a bit concerned and confused at the announcement. “But teacher, why now? Shouldn’t we focus on general matches and improving our rankings against other sumo?” The golden man would just smile before giving them his reply “That is exactly the reason for this match. People will be gathering from all over just so that they can watch the two rising stars in sumo battle it out. Also I have noticed that you two have yet to treat each other like friends or at least fellow students. I want you all to use this as a chance to manifest all of this animosity into the battle and get over this grudge you two have against one another.” They would look at the other before nodding, they felt a bit ashamed about the fact that their teacher was able to catch onto this so they would give this their best shot to bury the jealousy they both hold for the other.

It was finally the day of the match and both students were currently in the process of entering the state of minds that they needed for such a match. Shou was trying to steel his nerves and to pump himself up while the living mountain of a man, El was energetic and excited about the match seeing this as a shou of his energy and strength to his teacher. For both men this was a chance to advance further into the world of sumo wrestling but each for their own varied reasons. Shou’s was mainly to become a successful sumo and someone that can support his family better than as the farmer he previously was. On the other hand El’s was to use the power of the Yokozuna tom change how they handle certain things in the government, not to change the government though just to use his influence to help the people of kina. Silva supported both of their reasons but he did have the same ideals as El and it was in fact the old man who gave El the idea that the Yokozuna could help this country as they listen to the Yokozuna.

As the match was about to start Silva would have both of his students move to their respective sides of the ring. They would go through the normal rituals for a sumo match, throwing salt around the ring, warming up with their steps and bowing to one another. The ref would take his position to give them the start signal before moving to the edge of the ring. As soon as the match starts the two large men would charge at the other in a matter of seconds.

They would both slam into each other attempt to shove the other back. Shou would find himself start being pushed back by his opponent who was not only larger by probably a 100 lbs but was also stronger physically than any opponent he has faced in the ring, beginning to see the true difference in their starting bases as sumo. Shou would use Get Down! to grab the man’s arm and try to yank him down. El would react with mountain’s body which would make him extremely difficult to move not allowing the smaller wrestler to throw him off balance. This would leave the middle aged man opened as El grasps his massive hands around the arms of Shou using his demonic grip. He would lift the shorter sumo in the air and start to walk slowly to the edge of the ring with the intention of dropping him outside of it.

Shou would struggle as he could feel each step as if a clock ticking down to his demise. He would struggle the whole time, trying with all of his strength to break free from the man’s grasp. Since his arms were not fully ensnared he could just barely use One day I'll be Yokozuna! to push himself out of the man’s grasp. The audience was hooked in this match. They were sure that the mercenary would win this yet the small older man was putting up a great fight then any of them expected. Several of them had seen his matches or at least heard of him and knew he was lucky in his matches but expected that was all and that his luck would run out today. None knew about the sheer amount of work and soul he had put into this. Or the amount either of them had put into this sport. Both of them were going all out, putting their spirits against the other.

Once freed he would stumble a bit but retain his footing as he quickly goes on the offensive which would be met in equal force from the living mountain. Both knew that the only way to win this would be through forcing the other back with strikes more so than throws or carrying. Strikes whose sole purpose were not to hurt but to force back. Silva would be watching close with a large smile on his face. This was entertaining, watching these young folk give something like this their all. He did not know who would win but was invested in the outcome either way.

Shou would use sumo strike which would be weakened due to the nature of El’s hardened skin. El would meet in return with a palm strike of his own which would send a shock coursing throughout Shou’s body causing him to take several steps back. Shou would not be out yet although he would feel a trail of blood run down from the corner of his mouth. He would need to put his all into this and surpass his limits if he had any hopes of beating his fellow brother of the stable he was in. El would send out another palm strike which would be countered by another sumo strike The force of this strike would cause El’s striking arm to fling back knocking him just the slightest off balanced which is what Shou was waiting for, the smallest of openings. A succession of 4 quick sumo strikes would be thrown out at the giant, each pushing him back.

El in an attempt to stop the momentum would use his mountain’s body to steady himself before striking out again just to have it blocked by shou’s I can defend too! which would absorb the blow. El had made a mistake and put too much into the strike which caused his center of mass to be further than it should be. Shou would move his arms with quick decisiveness and grab the large man’s striking arm using his get down to attempt to throw the man once more. This time due to the stance he was in El would his the ground with a massive thud that would actually make the ring and audience shake just from El’s massive size.

Silence, that was all there was for seconds as everyone stood in disbelief. None of the audience was even sure when they got to their feet during this match. They would suddenly burst into cheers as Shou was declared the clear winner. Silva would no longer be smiling at this though. It was great that shou won but what would happen next was the part he was focused on now. El would look up at the smaller, middle aged man with a look of pure shock before letting out a bellowing laughter that drowned out the cheers of the onlookers. Shou would smile as he helps his fellow student up, it was clear that any animosity between them was gone. While losing was something no one wanted it was something that was necessary in situations like this.

Silva would smile seeing that they were on good terms for the first time since El joined the stable. He felt relieved that he could continue teaching them to the best of his capabilities now without any jealousy.
