Spoiler:

There was a sense of wonder and anxiety to Menat as she stepped off the boat that had carried her from her home, the country her mother was busy building and forging into another mark on the world for all to know of, to this new land of Kina. This was a big challenge for the young Fanalis. Not only was this the first time since her arrival in the budding nation of Meridia that she had left both it and her mother it was also an assignment from her mother that brought her to this new and foreign land of islands. As it was the girl was to be acting in the manner of a diplomat for her mother's nation, here to recruit the aid of those of one of Kina's more known clans. The Toh.

It was a lot to put on the young girl's shoulders. She had no experience in the matter of being a diplomat or anything of the sort to begin with, the way she saw it it was just another burden dropped on her by her mother. She was worried she'd make herself, and Meridia, look like laughingstocks by doing something wrong. She hadn't even known Kina existed before she was given the task! But despite her anxiety and nervousness there was a kind of natural calming air to the small port town she had arrived in. It was infectious to the Meridian Heiress as she simply looked everything around. The entire village had been built into a higher section of the land's edge, a potential safeguard for worries of flooding she would have had to logically guessed, with uniquely designed houses lining the way. Most of them stood two floors high, the rare few three, but no taller than that. The foundation was clearly that of wood with beams supporting them from the outside in addition. The walls appeared to be made of stone but not in the way the homes in Reim had been carved out. Perhaps these people had used some kind of mud-like mixture to coat some other building material when they built their homes.

Several, if not dozens, of Kinan citizens belonging to, at the very least, the village took almost immediate notice of Menat. From the difference in her manner of dress from their own was enough to tell them she was an outsider and caused them to set about whispering between each other. It really wasn't anything unusual when she thought of it. Most all towns and villages worked that way from what she'd been involved with between Reim and the plains. Turning to the sailor who had offered his assistance to the young redhead as she disembarked the ship she simply questioned him. "I'm here looking for the "Toh clan"? Do you know where I can find them?"

She sailor had been of valued help to Menat. Thanks to him it had been just a short matter of pulling her magic cloth from her hair and riding it to the village of the Toh, heading off in the direction she had been directed to. The town itself was far more impressive than the simple port village Menat had arrived in. Flower petals she had never seen before literally blanketed the town's streets. Beautiful petals of vibrate pinks that paled into white. She couldn't stop herself from bending over to scoop up a handful, further awed by the silken feel of them in her palm. She was so lost in their beauty that she had neglected to notice the elegant woman approaching her. Their conversation was a short one that began with Menat apologizing for her lack of awareness and ending with a physical escort to the home of the heads of the Toh clan.

"Greetings. My name is Menat and I come as an envoy," She paused, questioning her own use of the word and if she was using it correctly in her attempts at being proper. "I've been sent by my mother, Merrze of Meridia, to broker some form of alliance with the Toh clan. I'd like to offer you myself and my assistance in any way you find advantageous."

Course Of Action

[-] Journey To Kina

The sounds of crashing waves hit the boat's left port side. Rising up to the same height of Neph standing straight up, and silently splashed about the boat's wood, and down the side again. He hated the wary uneasy feeling of a ship at sea, but for one who was not a part of a country where else was he to turn? The young boy walked about the deck alongside the crew, and other passengers. He stared amongst the people wondering how they came to just freely transport all kinds of people into this foriegn country many outsiders haven’t really entered. It was like going to the tundra, and meeting those giants called Imuchakks. Neph knew, Aseo had a little knowledge about that race, but for now he wasn’t sure about his goals in coming here yet.

The harbor was in sight, and many people had gathered from underneath. Neph found himself scanning over the people, and wondering if he could be just like them? Blending in was easy, but accepting a new home would be hard. Could this place be his new beginning, or his end? Everywhere's a end he thought, but an early end wasn't what he was hoping for. With his belongings in hand, the young boy would get off and descend upon the streets.

The environment around him was different then what he knew. Aseo could make similar notions about how it was closely similar to Kou, but they had there own way of doing things. The idea of getting into this culture wasn't have bad, but could he make friends here in higher places, or upset there balance was also hidden in the back of his mind. Neph would walk, and sight see. From the flowers, to the soft dirt beneath his feet he could feel how pleasant it was around this area, but for how long would he know that? To him peace was the curtain before everything, and everyone showed their poker face, and real identity. “ Where should I start “ speaking to himself. Sure enough someone over heard that, and became a short guide.

Young one. If you want to immerse yourself in Toh’s Culture. Just head towards the end of this road, and make a left. you'll find our leaders home.

Neph looked at the woman talking to him at the same level. His height has taken a hit once the new body fused together, so he wasn't used to not looking down on others yet. “ Toh? Is that the clan in charge here? “ Turning his head a little surely puzzled by what she said, but he was glad she gave him the information he needed.

Yes little one. Toh. We have been here the longest, and open all newcomers with open arms, I would hope you visit the clan head soon, and don't get lost child. “

She would end her sentence, before getting dragged away. As she left in the distance, Neph waved as his back turned to her and headed towards the location she gave him. He wondered what he would find but sure enough it might be worth it. The unknown wasn't scary, but the intentions of the people hidden in the unknown was so he hadn't known what to expect. After marching along the roads, and getting a feel for the land and mountains, Neph’s gaze met the doors leading to the clans head house. From what he could see another person had appeared before him, or severely but this one caught his eye.

Her hair was crimson, and from the back she looked like a woman he met along his travels before leaving Kou for the time being. Merrze came to mind, but he wasn't sure so he hadn't said anything yet, and just kindly walked up behind her, bowing. “ I don't know what is customary here. But I have come from the Jade Mountains in hopes of finding my own place here. May I lend my body, mind, and spirit to this clan as it's sword, or shield! “ Saying all of this waiting to see what would happen next.
