Job Name: Withered Leaves
Job Rank: B
Job Location: Mt. Raiji
Job Reward: 200XP | 15,000 Huang
Job Prerequisites: Pledge yourself to the Hinamoto or the Shikizui
Job Overview: A trusted oiran has reported that the Toh clan have been amassing forces nearby a Hinamoto military camp at the base of Mount Raiji. You have been ordered to accompany the oiran and infiltrate the Toh commander’s camp. You must either distract the patrol outside while she replaces his orders with fake ones, or directly deal with the Toh commander in his tent.

Toh Patrol:

Toh Commander:

Silva, the former assassin turned aspiring teacher, was heading to a meeting spot once again. He had been told that he was to meet up with an oiran who had information that was important for the future and safety of the Hinamoto clan. He could sense the urgency of the request and decided to go with the upmost haste. He did go and retrieve his student Shou as well feeling that this would be a good chance to train him in the field a bit. Shou was eager to go on another mission with his trainer/coach however he was quite nervous. He still remembered what happened last time he was on a mission for the Hinamoto with Silva. He was blindfolded in a labyrinth and had to fight and defeat some unknown creatures that he was unable to see. He was terrified during that but he had trusted the man that was his coach and had become a more skilled sumo wrestler because of it. He was certain this would make him a better sumo as well.

Silva could sense the nervousness from his middle aged student, "You do not need to be worried Young one, as long as you stick close to your trainer yo shall be okay. You are constantly becoming stronger so you this will be easier for you than the previous mission was." Shou would nod feeling himself calm down some. He was not completely sure but the middle aged man could feel something different about the older man. When they had first met he could feel a blood lust from the assassin and some kind of uncertainty as well. Yet now the old man seemed more certain about his way of life and seemed a lot calmer than before, no longer having the feel of a killer. He would smile to himself glad to see that his trainer was more still at heart than he was once before.

They would make it to the meeting spot, a cherry blossom tree in the middle of a field. Standing there was an oiran, supposedly the one that they were supposed to meet up with. "Greetings, it is a pleasure to meet you." the elderly man says, shou bowing in turn. "Thank you for coming" she says as she bows in response. "I am sorry for the inconvenience but I must ask that you wait for a short while. You see there is another person coming, a Representative from the Shikizui clan, and they should be here soon" She would say almost apologetically. Silva would nod and sit on a nearby stump while clutching his staff that looked more like a walking stick most frail elderly would use. Shou would stand as he waits, watching the birds that were flying around. It would be quite interesting for the former assassin to meet someone from another clan here. He was not sure if it would be an actual clan member or someone like him, who was hired to help the clans in this country. Either way it made sense due to the fact that the Shikizui clan was now an ally of the Hinamoto clan.

"Brother, I think I should come with you." A silver haired girl plead to the older man, wanting to accompany him. But as the man stared at her with a warm smile on his face, the girl couldn't help but to took a step back and looked down, emmmmmyes fixed to the ground as she lost for words. "I can do this alone, I will be fine, Rui Li. Stop worrying, okay?" The one eyed man tried to calm his companion down, well, she could be quite handful sometimes... but Tenma didn't really mind, she was just expressing her worry and that was normal. At least not like that guy... yeah, the one eyed man would be getting headache listening to his never ending nags. But it was perhaps his fault as well for, you know, messing around, but Tenma was not sorry, at all. He found it quite amusing when his assistant began to have his own breakdown moment although Tenma would rather run off to somewhere if the breakdown moment began to be uncontrollable.

After making sure that Rui Li had fully calmed down, the swordsman would head out to the place where he will do his next mission. There was a reason why he didn't want Rui Li to come along, it was not because he didn't trust her, but it was because he knew the mission would be dangerous. He couldn't risk her live... so it would be better if he went alone, because he was not sure if he could protect her if things went south. Tenma would wear his hakama though in this mission, not bothering to even wear his usual attire. A fox mask can be seen covering his face as he walked to the meeting point, his sword hanging on his left waist. 'Accompanying an Oiran, eh..? Interesting.' The man smirked behind his mask. They said she was a trusted Oiran... the one who held a lot of important information that would definitely help the clan in the future. He wondered why they would target the Toh clan though... were they just randomly choosing which clan should be 'attacked' first? Or if there were some other reason behind it.

Once Tenma arrived at the meeting point, which was a cherry blossom tree in the middle of the field, he would scan around the area and saw 2 men, one was a middle aged man and the other would be a much older man... with the oiran they were supposed to meet already waiting there. He would walk closer towards the crowds, "Greetings." Tenma bowed himself, smiling even though his face would be hidden behind the fox mask. "I apologize for being late, I am a representative from the Shikizui clan." The man wouldn't bother to give out his real name, not now, he didn't really trust all of the people standing in front of him right now actually... not yet. "Please call me Hua Yang." The swordsman said as he put his hand on his chest while slightly bowing, showing respect. "Should we begin the mission now?"

The elderly man would notice as the representative from the Shikizui clan, a man from the looks of it. He had a sword as well which probably meant that he was some kind of warrior like a swordsman. Besides that he could not tell what nationality this man was or anything about him due to the fox mask that he was wearing. He would smile at the man. Silva was just wearing his normal clothes which were more traditional to what people in Balbadd would wear while Shou was wearing a robe and his muwashi belt.

He would speak as he watches the man, a bit curious in this swordsman, "It is nice to meet you young man, I am Silva, Silva Kaida. And the man over there is my student Shou. I am a magician by trade and my student is a sumo in training."He would say trying to be truthful about his skills since that would make it easier to plan and work together. He would keep looking at the man almost as if he was trying to study the younger man. After they meet the oiran would bow and introduce herself to Hua Yang and begin to start the meeting. "As you probably already know the Toh clan is amassing their forces near a camp of our own clan. You three will follow me and decide on one of two actions. you can distract the guards while i replace their orders or you can take care of the commander of the camp. The commander is a strong warrior so if you take that path i would use cation." She would wait to answer any questions and answer them before taking them to the location of the toh encampment. Silva would look at Hua Yang, "Which would you like to do young man?" He would ask, "I myself think that we should aim for replacing the orders. It will save the life of the commander and create confusion and possible distrust among the army and those leading them. However if I also want to hear your opinion on it as a warrior. I myself do not have much experience in this line of work." He would say. It was true that he did not have much experience when it came to dealing with armies and the such but as a former assassin he does know quite a bit about killing. However, if they were to deal with the commander he would rather have the warrior do it than Shou or himself as he did not want to be a part of that world anymore.

Tenma would bow again as Silva introduced himself and his student, Shou, who apparently was a sumo in training. The one eyed man definitely think that they were such a unique duo, a magician giving a sumo training was a rare thing as well. "It is a pleasure to meet both of you, Sir Kaida and Sir Shou." The swordsman would shift his gaze towards the older man before saying, "If you didn't tell me that you are a magician, I would have thought you were a skilled warrior based on your strong appearance."

After the pleasant introduction from the older men and the oiran, now it would be the time to listen about more details of their missions. The one eyed man already knew about the escorting mission, however, he would still listen to the woman's explanation so he could prepare more for what was about to come. As both Shikuzui and Hinamoto clan worked together in this mission and targeted Toh, although the man was not really sure about the reason why. But perhaps it was because The Toh affiliated themselves with other clans. Morihana and Kazeharu if he was not mistaken... those three clans will be a thorn for the current shogun. Shikizui supported the current shogunate, that was why they choose to affiliate with Hinamoto, however, Tenma might have to think about the worst thing that could happen... what if Shikizui was also greedy for the Shogun title. Well, no one knew at the moment... Tenma thought that he should just be extra careful for now. He would also need to stay loyal to the Shikizui, for the sake of Yoshiro and Kou...for now.

"I agree, Sir Kaida. It would be better to distract the guards for now. It would be very dangerous to go and directly attack the commander, for sure, or the Toh clan might see it as a invitation of a 'war'. Not only that, milady will definitely do a great job as well, so I will leave the commander to you." Tenma would nod as he placed his finger on his chin. "Now that we've planned on what we want to do, shall we go?"

They would start to head towads the commander's camp of Toh, however, they would be extra quiet and careful on their way there. "Please wait here for a little bit, milady. We'll open the way for you." Tenma would say towards the oiran as she prepared herself. "Sir Kaida, Sir Shou. Four patrols in front of the camp, shall we take them out?" Tenma couldn't wait to see how the other gentlemen would fight though, it was always interesting to see other people's fighting style. But unfortunately the one eyed man wouldnt be able to leisurely watch since he had to take down some enemies as well.

The swordsman would just go ahead to one of the soldiers, running towards the enemy with his exceptional speed before delivering 4 surprise cuts and took one enemy down easily. He needed to do it as fast as he could though, he couldn't stir a commotion so the oiran can do her task easily. Using his exceptional speed again, Tenma would run towards the other enemy. Although this one enemy was pretty quick as well, he was ready to perform his Strike! skill although Tenma parried it and quickly send Nakadaka Ken right at the soldier's torso, knocking him down. Well, he got his share of enemies, now it should be Silva and Shou's turn.

The man would laugh at the masked man's comment. Silva looked like a frail old man so the masked man must have been able to sense that he was more than just that. He would be amused as they followed the oiran. He was excited to try to do a mission for once without just straight up killing people. On their way to the Toh encampment he would try to observe the masked swordsman. He would have no luck though as the man was a blank slate, able to hide his emotions well it would seem.

Once at the encampment he would see the guards and tenma going ahead to take care of some of them. He would spend a few moments watching the man's moves impressed and excited to see such fine swordsmanship. He would nod to shou who would go and fight the other two that the man wasnt. Shou would go out and get in the way of the other 2 patrolmen who were on their way to attack tenma. Silva would rush to his students side raising his staff as shou covers his eyes.As silva raises his staff he will shout sunburt creating a bright flash of light that blinds the two patrolmen as Shou moves  close to one and performs his signature move One day I'll be Yokozuna! as he railroads into the patrolman striking him with the full force of both of his palms. The other guard would preform charge as he charges as the sumo. Silva would stop the man before he got to shou tho. He would activate his unique skill of becoming super buff at will as he comes at the man from the side slamming his massive fist into the patrolman As they knockout both Silva would smile as he looks back over at Tenma watching him once again.

As they are distracting the patrol the oiran is sneaking into the camp. She was trained at blending in and made quick work of getting into the camp. She would quickly switch out the orders for the troops and would make it back to the others. Once there she would congratulate them for their work before leaving. Silva would look at Tenma smiling "That was some fine swordplay young one. It was a fun mission and I am glad that i got to meet you. Since we are allied for now with our clans I am sure that we may end up crossing paths again, or with the politics of this land maybe as enemies. Either way I wish you luck on your journey. If you need me i will be near the Hinamoto most of the time." Shou would bow as Silva was talking. The two would bid their farewells and begin to flee from the camp by running. It was a good idea to not stay by the encampment for long and it was time for Shou to work out. He did wonder if they were ever going to meet again, perhaps one day. He was a quiet man but definitely seemed like he is more than meets the eye.

‘Amusing~.’ Tenma smirked happily as he saw how the teacher student duo fight the other patrols. He noticed that peculiar fighting technique that Shou was using, it was a sumo fighting technique and it would be the first time he saw someone using it in a fight. Usually people who were proficient in sumo would be a wrestler and went into that ring fighting to show off their skills, so usually they didn’t use it for a real fight. Just watching a fighting show about sumo was already entertaining enough and Tenma got to see the real technique on the 1st class seat.

Not only that, the older man showed the masked man a nice show as well with his magic power. He was always fascinated by magicians, but he knew it was not his path… wielding a sword, was his path. Well he could say it because Noir inherited the magician’s blood from their mother, so it would be fair if Tenma could follow his father’s step and here he was, on his path to be a stronger swordsman than his father. However, he thought it would be enough for nostalgia, he looked to see that the oiran had successfully blended in to do her task. It didn't take too long for the woman to do her task successfully, well, it was to be expected that she would do an amazing job, considering she might have done this several times.

Tenma would bow slightly to the woman as she congratulated them and left right after, leaving the swordsman with the older men. “You and Mr. Shou are amazing as well, I had a good time watching both of your fights.” He would let out a chuckle, “I will wish you good luck as well, Sir. I will definitely pay you a visit when the time is right.” The swordsman would bow slightly towards the other 2 men as they took their leave, watching them as they walked away.

It would be the time for him to go back as well, calling it a day for now. As he headed back to Shikizui base, Tenma wondered what kind of outcome that would happen as a result of today’s mission. He had several ideas in mind but he would prefer to just wait and see what would happen instead to be very fixated into one conclusion then found out that it was not like he thought. The one eyed man would take off his mask carefully though as he reached Shikizui’s based after making sure that no one could see him. “Well… hopefully it ends well…”
