The Magician's city of Magnostadt is famous for its magical studies, however even such a great metropolis of wisdom is not immune to corruption. Using ties with key figures in the Academy, a certain group has succeeded in smuggling several magic tools left over from the dungeon Marax out into the world. The rogue responsible for shipping the stolem magic goods is a young pirate named Durand. It is too late to stop him from sending dangerous magic tools out into the world as they were all spirited out of the Mainland far before anyone was even aware of the plot.

With his work in the great plain's finished, Durand is now attempting to loot and pillage the port town where his ships are docked. Citizens can be seen screaming as they run from the town towards Magnostadt for protection however no magicians would be able to make the long flight into town in time to stop Durand. The fate of this poor village rests with Durand's avarice and the good faith of any passing adventurers.

The weather is bright and sunny with almost no clouds over head to soften its harsh rays. A slightly strong breeze has the waters a bit choppy but its a good wind leading west out to sea, a perfect day for setting sail. The Port town is now empty save for Durand and a few of his men whom are currently plundering every household for valuables. Will anyone arrive at the town in time to stop them?

It was a good day around these ports, and there was really nothing to do, but look for jobs. He was all about that money, and getting anything valuable in his hands was worth everything. He couldn’t feel bad that he left his friends behind, but knew he would return to them. He needed to do something here, and he knew it wouldn’t take long for things to be done with. He could help but walk at a slow pace from how bored he was. That was when he heard screaming from a distance, and he blinked a few times as he was wondering what was happening around here.

He heard more screams coming from around the port, and it seemed like things were really serious around this place. He could only smile at this because it was time for him to do something and help the people around the port out. Yuurei was quick to have his carpet hover in the air, and he jumped on it without hesitation. He soared through the skies to have a bird’s eye view. He could see the people running away, and he could see other people taking things as if they didn’t care about anything in the world. He just took his bow, and shot three arrows out at three of the men that were here.

Yuurei could only look around at the men that were here and sighed. ”What are you guys doing to this? If this isn’t your home you should leave. I don’t think taking people stuff without them fighting back is fair,” he looked around as he was waiting for something to happen.

The men Jova had happened upon were all just dumb hired muscle brought on for the job by Durand. They didn't know who the man on the flying carpet was, but they were at least bright enough to know that riding one meant he was someone of great importance. Instead of fighting Jova, the four goons grabbed what was immediately within reach before making a run for it down an alley moving between buildings so it would be harder to pursue them from the air. As great of a plan that was, they foolishly gave their position away shouting as they ran. "Boss! We got trouble! Get tha' magic tool ready!" Apparently their pleas were heard as a signal whistle blew and all the men headed back to the ships to prepare for a pre-arranged plan in case of emergency.

As the smuggling crew followed the retreat order a lone man wearing extravagant cloths casually walked out of a nearby building and began moving towards the grunts that were calling for help. If Jova had followed them then he would inevitably end up face to face with Durand whom was flipping a coin over and over again in one hand while holding a blood covered cutlass in the other.

Yuurei had noticed that they were men who were running away from him. It seemed like they were smart enough to do so, but they didn’t let go of anything they were stealing. He didn’t like that, and he started to pursue the four. He noticed that they had rushed towards an alleyway, so he followed from above, and wondered where they would come out from. He was an archer, so his sight was well enough to see where they would come out from. There was that, and well they were screaming out loud, which gave him the opportunity to know where they were going.

He just followed them and he heard whistles blowing as it seemed like events were getting on their way. Yuurei had noticed a man who was calmer than anybody who was around here. That was interesting indeed, and he could only smile because it made him feel as if this man was behind all of this. He just looked at him and noticed that his cutlass was covered in blood. It only angered him because he could only imagine whose blood it belonged to. He took one of his arrows out, and shot it towards the man. He figured he was strong indeed, and well he figured the man knew that there was someone attacking him.

He knew the man was an enemy because there wasn’t anybody here who would be so calm with people attacking the village, and nobody going after him.

Durand didn't even look at his men as they came running out of the alley, his eyes were upwards staring right at the king candidate flying above. When the man's arrow was prepared the Smuggler didn't even flinch even as it was loosed in his direction. The arrow pierced into the man's heart and his men all shouted in a panic. However, instead of bleeding or screaming in pain, Durand simply faded into a wavey haze of light. The sound of laughter then began to echo all through out this side of town and three more Durand's suddenly appeared from the alley ways jumping up onto the roof tops behind Jova. "Fufufu~ Listen up you maggots! Time's up! Take the haul back to the ship, we've got company! Get your asses into the 'spiders' as fast as possible or I'll toss ya into the drink ma' self!" The declaration came not only from one of the Durand's behind Jova, but from several others all across the port town.

The announcement gave way to cheers from Durand's men all over the port town as the three clones behind Jova reached into their coats and threw a small throwing dagger at Jova, each one capable of dealing C-tier damage. Other than that, they simply stood there waiting for a reaction from the stranger who foolishly decided to butt his nose in where it didn't belong. These three clones were simply buying time as even more clones were on their way.

Zadi was on his way over to the ports in order to take another ship back to Balbadd. Yes, he could have taken a direct ship to Balbadd, but where was the fun in that? And the money...lots of money that Zadi was too cheat to spend. Rather than taking the direct route back home with Syma, he first went to a small port town near Magnostadt and secondly towards Balbadd...but the second ship was halted when it had all its valuables stolen. Zadi was very bewildered when he arrived at the scene. He was also upset, but eventually got over the shock of having to stay in such a place as the small port town near Mangostadt...probably because his home IS a port town, not small though. Anyway, Zadi noticed that the rest of the town was also in a bit of a panic, as if it was being raided by someone or several others. However, the ship being on emptied was not the only problem...the other problem was Zadi's assumptions turning out to be true! The small port town was being raided by a group of rough and tough looking people. Zadi didn't know what to do other than look for the raid leader. If Zadi could stop him, he could stop this whole fiasco!

Well, it seemed that Zadi would need to change his schedule a little...you know...to fit in with defeating a few bandits here and there. Zadi decided that it would be best if he made himself noticed in order to draw that attention away from all the innocent people and towards himself. His Djinn Equip did look regal to some degree, so maybe they would try and rob Zadi instead of the innocent people. If the attention thing didn't work, then Zadi would just go ahead and beat up the bandits until they learned their lesson and ran away from wherever they came from. Zadi said his chant...

"Vassago, bringer of law without ruling! She who creates order within chaos! O' Djinn of Law and Order, hear my call! Bless me with the power to save life and bring balance to this world! Vassago!"

And then he flew up at 30 meters per second in the center of the chaos that he could see and introduced himself to all the lovely bandits and robbers that were involved in the raid...or not involved. Doesn't really matter.

"Hello~ everybody! My name is Zadi Medmar and I shall end this turmoil~"

Yuurei had looked at the arrow he had shot at the man, and it seemed like he had gotten his target. That was good because it just meant he had taken one more person down. Still that was not the case as the man had simply faded from his attack. Yuurei blinked a few times as he couldn’t believe what he had seen. It was magic, an illusion to be exact. His knowledge was not great on illusion, but it was simple knowledge to know that something like that was an illusion, which could only be done my magic. He was on his carpet and he could hear several men who sounded the same all around him.

He noticed that there were copies of this guy all around him, and he was actually smiling from what he saw. This was getting interesting, and he could only chuckle. [color=blue]”It seems like I got into a difficult situation. He knew there was a man behind him, and he quickly turned around to see a dagger being through straight at him. He threw himself of his carpet to dodge the attack, and he was falling down to the sky. His carpet of course would soar through the sky to catch him in time before he hit the ground.

He was not of course done with throwing himself off the carpet though. There were three of them, and he decided to get rid of them. He shot three arrows at these clones as an arrow had went straight towards the middle of their chest. His carpet had caught him, and he just decided to keep his guard up as he was making sure that his back was covered by one of the buildings, so he wouldn’t get attacked from his back.

Sorry Jova, these aren't the sentient magic carpets from the Disney Aladdin. They are magic tools which must be steered and driven by their riders.))

With their prey fallen off his flying carpet, the clones all laughed in unison as they ran across the roof top. The time it took Jova to get off a single shot was more than enough for all three to get within striking distance. His first shot struck true piercing the chest of the center clone causing him to fade away into magoi which dispersed into the atmosphere. However the other two clones were already on top of him before he would have time to knock and release yet another arrow.

Both of the clones had drawn their cutlass and simultaneously moved to stab for Jova's legs from both his left and right sides. There was nothing inhumane or impressive about the speed of these attacks, but each would deal C-tier cutting damage if not dodged or blocked.

Zadi [Arrival Phase]

Despite the traveling magician's attempts to be noticed, his Djinn Equip transformation occurred when no one was looking and there was no one with their eyes on the sky to see him ascending above the port down. The dozens and dozens of meters Zadi had flown upwards gave him a wonderful vantage point where he would almost be able to see the entire port town. However from such a height, not a single soul would be able to hear his introduction.

The many bodies moving below him would continue to scurry about unaware of his presence. But being ignored was not the worst that could have happened. At least from here Zadi would be able to spot a trend if he paid enough attention. Many bandits were retreating to the docks, but most of the people running around below were...all the same person? Indeed, many clones of a well dressed rogue were currently the main culprits causing trouble around town. Some of the clones were setting fire to buildings and others were stealing more goods. They were all committing crimes and posted the greatest threat to law and order. It should be clear whom he needed to confront in order to end the chaos.

Alright, so it seemed that Zadi become a bit of a ghost while in his Djinn Transformation. Shame. Well, that wouldn't stop Zadi from trying to get attention from the many similar...pretty much the same...exactly the same faced people plundering and burning things. What is this!? Zadi kept looking for a different looking bad-guy but it looked like all the bandits, at this point, looked exactly the same! Well, guess that meant Zadi would have to defeat each and every one of them if he wanted to get to the boss of the fiasco. Not like Zadi could blast a powerful spell or anything, hahaha! Yeah, Zadi tried to use his Magician Spells while Djinn Equipped, but they didn't seem to work...nor his borg! For now, the only thing that would help Zadi would be the sword and his speed in the air...not so much while running. Only when flying is Zadi able to travel at 15 m/s. Oh well, better than nothing, hahaha!

"HEY! YOU! THE ONE WITH THE FANCY CLOTHES! Ah, they can't hear me...time to just go for a sneak attack to the one burning things!"

Zadi swooped over to the building burning bandit that looked like a lot of the other bandits and tried to injure his left leg! Now then, Zadi is flying at 15 m/s over to a target that is roughly 30 meters away. It would take a little over a couple seconds to reach the bandit that was burning buildings. If he were to turn around in that time, he might be able to easily dodge Zadi's slash to his left leg. Now by "left leg," Zadi is meaning to aim for, well, in the bandit's perspective...HIS left leg if he was still facing 180 degrees away from Zadi. So yeah, just left leg would have probably sounded just fine.

[Hmm kk wouldn’t have thrown myself then, but let’s continue on]

Yuurei had fell till he had hit the ground, and it seemed like he had made a mistake. He had noticed that the both of these men were both close to him, and he needed to do something before these blades would hit him. He took one of his arrows, but didn’t use it on any of the men. Instead he needed to get away from the attacks that were about to be inflicted on him. He didn’t have time to attack both of them, so he decided that he would do something else. He shot an arrow away from the two, and a bit up in the air as he was trying to get off the ground as well. ”Out of the way,” he said as he was pulled up from the floor, and away from the two. He made sure he picked up his legs as well to stop any type of wounds from being inflicted on his legs.

Yuurei would let go of his arrow before he had gotten any higher up in the sky, and shot off two of his arrows, which he made sure they would go to each of them. He landed on the ground, and sighed as he needed to get his carpet back before continuing on with what he was doing. He was wondering what was going to happen. The first guy who had gotten shot by his arrow had disperse which was interesting as it seemed like this magic was really strong.

Zadi: Encounter Phase

The djinn equipped black magician's attack came swift and from above where no one would be expecting. His blade cleaved the Durand clone's leg right off causing it to write in pain briefly before fading away into light and sound rukh. "Looks like we've got another interloper~" A mischievous voice said from behind. Stepping out of a building to the rear of Zadi were three more Durand clones, each drawing his cutlass and holding it at the ready. "I have no idea who or...what you are. But if you're going to interfere in our business we wont hold back!" All three of the clones would then rush for Zadi brandishing their blades in preparation for three different attacks. The clone in the middle would perform a perfectly vertical slash while the one to its right would try to step around to Zadi's outside for a stab to his flank. The final clone moved to the left of its central counterpart instead of moving towards Zadi at all. This one would keep some distance as he reached into his coat and revealed a throwing dagger which was promptly sent flying through the air for Zadi's neck.

The clones moved at 7m/s and were only a mere 5 meters away when they exited the building giving Zadi very little time to react. The only exception being the ranged fighter whom moved 10m away from Zadi and threw the dagger at 10m/s. Their attacks would be capable of dealing C-tier damage and were performed with a thick killing intent that would be palpable in the air.

Jova: Encounter Phase

The interloping archer's efforts would carry him upwards and out of the way of his attackers, but even as he ascended Jova was not safe. The two clones simply slashed upwards as he was carried away by the rope of his special arrow. Their cloned cutlasses would slash into either of Jova's legs. Luckily for the archer his movements were fast enough that the full force of these blows could not be dealt and instead of C-tier they imposed only D-tier cuts to each of his legs respectively. This would leave Yuurei's left thigh and right calf injured with minor cuts. The damage was not life threatening or even all that painful, however there was no means of dodging the attacks.

The two clones would turn to face the air born fighter only to both receive arrows. The damage would cause these to likewise disperse into magi just as their earlier counterpart had. With these two clones dispatched, Yuurei was now free to try and collect his flying carpet, however doing so would not be a simple task. By the time he would come in sight of the magical artifact it would be just in time to see one of the Durand clones finish rolling it up before ducking into a nearby warehouse before any arrows could be sent his way.

Inside the warehouse the clone would be waiting along with four more of his duplicates hiding about the place. The clone with the carpet would be in the middle of the warehouse 5m from the entrance with a dagger in hand waiting to be thrown while two others stood on either side of the door way with their blades drawn and at the ready only 1m from the entrance itself. The last two clones were at the back of the warehouse 3m behind the carpet carrying clone with their blades held in hand as well.

Zadi had successfully sneak attacked the fancy looking clone from behind with a slash to one of the legs. However, Zadi knew that the fight wasn't over! He did remember there being other clones all around this port town. However, he couldn't remember the exact locations. Zadi could obviously see that there were no clones in front of him as he had quickly taken care of one of them, so he turn around, only to hear a voice about 5 meters away from Zadi say something about another "interloper". Zadi knew what the word meant but not what the voice implied, due to the loud screams of the townspeople. But alas, more clones came out right after Zadi heard the word "interloper", and from the direction of the voice itself. Another three clones came out from somewhere. Two charged for Zadi and all that Zadi could do was stab forwards in hopes of hitting one of them. Another clone backed up to 10 meters away, but Zadi was too distracted to notice. One of the two clones, the one NOT in front of Zadi, stabbed Zadi in his side, which Zadi was unable to dodge from the sheer little amount of it took for the clone to do so. The other clone in front, well, that would be left up to if Zadi's sword reached further than the cutlass of said clone. To makes matters worse for Zadi, the one that was not 10 meters away threw something that Zadi could barely see, much less dodge. It cut the side of Zadi's neck with lots of blood gushing, but not spewing, from the right side of his neck. Things weren't looking too good for Zadi, so whether he had stabbed the clone directly in front of him or not didn't matter at he then swung with all his might for the clone who's cutlass was still in Zadi's side, slowly bleeding Zadi as the other injury was equally bleeding just as much form his neck.

Zadi: Encounter Phase

The difference in size between Zadi's Djinn Equipped weapon and the cutlass the clone wielded would mean that the spectre was impaled and reduced to magoi before any damage could be dealt to the magician. However the sacrifice would make an opening for the two other clones to land respective blows of their own. "Kekeke...Fighting is easy when you can use your allies as disposable pawns, isn't it?" Durand's clone which now had the tip of its blade impaled in Zadi's side snickered before a slash from the King Vessel obliterated the phantom.

The clone that had kept at range was now waiting with his sword at the ready with a wicked grin dancing across his lips that showed there was little concern clouding his judgement. The clones knew they were more effective as suicide fighters although the magoi it cost to make each one made the losses more expensive than Durand was letting on. The smiling poker faced clone would soon be joined by two more clones stepping out of the alley 3 meters behind him. These two new fighters would each draw similar daggers from before and threw them towards zadi with the same speed and ferocity their predecessor had.

Zadi was bleeding badly, so he used the one ability that he knew about...well, he might as well just say it and get it over with before anything else would attack. Thankfully, he was able to get rid of 2 of the 3 clones so he DEFINITELY had time to heal himself...while the other clones seemed to be gathering. Anyway, Zadi held up his sword like he was supposed to and said stuff that he didn't really need to say...

"Vasajh Adaalt Cheroub! Aaaaah, much better. Just gotta clean up this blood later."

After Zadi did what he did, Zadi looked over at the newly gathered clones. Being only 10 meters away from Zadi, he could clearly see that two of them held out daggers, throwing them towards Zadi. The one in the middle held a cutlass like the other two clones that Zadi dealt with earlier. As the clones swung their arms to throw the daggers, Zadi ducked, still slightly floating off the ground, dodged the daggers, then flew at 15 m/s with his sword fully lunged out like a lance, going for the clone with its cutlass out and ready.

Now, whether he hit the clone with its cutlass at the ready or not, Zadi would swing his sword around and try to hit either of the two clones that recently threw the daggers. And then he would swing for the other one, cause why not? Zadi wanted to save this town so that he could gain fame and glory! Hahaha! Not really. He just didn't like the clones for hurting him, hehehe...

Zadi: Encounter Phase

The black magician's attack was too fast for the clones to defend against, however his strategy was flawed. Apparently Zadi thought he could ignore the laws of the world regarding movement, momentum, and acceleration. When the Djinn Equipped fighter accelerated to 15m/s his blade would quickly impale the center clone dispatching it easily enough. But he would have no way to slow himself down in time to slash at either of the other two clones before the force of his charge would carry him past them and out of attacking range. Had Zadi simply attacked all the clones with a single swing of his blade then perhaps he would have taken them all out before passing them, however now he would have to stop and turn around to do so. This would give the two remaining clones time to draw another dagger each and turn to throw the blades after the flying armored mystery man.

It seemed that his swing missed the second clone that he wanted to hit after successfully slaying the first clone that was thrust with the sword. However, Zadi wouldn't give up and just stop so easily. He kept flying forward at 15 m/s, in turn "dodging" the daggers thrown in his direction. After getting 10 meters away from the clones, Zadi pulled up in a curved motion, finally ending up 20 meters away from the clones, above them obviously. However, Zadi didn't feel the need to fight just two of the clones at one time. he knew there were more around due to the continued screaming and terror all around the port town.

"Alright, mind gathering all the other clones for me? I know it seems that I can't handle just two clones right now...so why not bring in all the other clones? Hahaha! Seriously, I know there are more, just call them in form wherever and finish me off!"

Zadi: Encounter Phase

The daggers thrown after Zadi simply did not have the speed to catch up to their target before its trajectory suddenly ascended thanks to the power of flight. The two Durand clones both sucked their teeth in disappointment simultaneously. The interloper had honestly been far more powerful than anticipated and the irk it inflected was now clear as day on their expressions. This spite only grew as the flight empowered fighter hovered ahead and challenged them openly. In truth, there was a reason why only a few clones were appearing at a time. The inability to respond to the man's request in force only hurt their pride even further. "If you want to fight more of us..." One clone shouted as he and his companion both turned and began running towards the docks at full speed. The other clone then finished his doppelganger's sentence, "...Then come and chase us!" The pair then split into two lone parties by diving into the window of houses on either ends of the streets. They then used their knowledge of the town to take paths which the flying fighter could not easily pursue them. The back streets and empty homes of the towns became a high way for them to lead Zadi down several blocks.
