Shevika had long since grown from a young pup of unique nature found within her nest, to a rather sizeable wolf with some rabbit like features that adorned her head as ears and multiple tails that jutted from her hind end.

Vodarara was rather fortunate in a sense, he had a companion that stuck beside him though he wondered if that was due to in-printing from raising the blind pup after he had exterminated the rogue band of wolves that contained her Alpha’s or if the wolf would one day feast upon his bones after killing the hunter that removed it previous family, whatever occurred however would be the fate of history.

Furthermore, the Imuchakk had at least steered away from hunting his wolf for her unique hide as a trophy, maybe that was because he was technically one of them, one that had slain a unicorn and thus completed their trails or maybe he just had luck on his side.

The growing wolf had learned many traits and grown stronger in many ways since their time together and thus this is a tale of those memories….

Shevika had long since become a growing wolf… or maybe rabbit, the huntsman could exactly be sure but the odd creature continued to grow from her originally small stature heading gradually towards the size of the Wolves of Imuchakk, though Vodarara wondered if her unique mutation or bloodline would have other effects that he couldn’t be aware of.

Like many young animals however, she was still a bundle of energy that needed to gain valuable experience in the world. Being to energetic could easily lead you into make errors and mistakes that could get you killed, though it was obvious the young creature preferred the company of groups rather than that of sheer isolationism of the winter pastures. It may have been why the creature picked up the owl fledgling rather than devouring the creature.

Sensory Perception was a key trait of any hunter. In a sense the hunter must always remember that they may become the prey, there is always something bigger, something stronger or something smarter. A creature that may exploit a moment of your own weakness to take you down with one swift strike, It is an important matter of the hunter to always maintain a strict and strong perception of the environment around them.

It decides when you strike, how you strike and if you strike. Beast’s were far more commonly greater than this than “smarter” humanoids. Vodarara would spend his time hunting with Shevika and the owl chick, keeping her in line after stay low, nearly feeling the snow in your throat as you skulked after your prey was critical and being able to act instinctively without vocal orders or even orders themselves was important. You had the act and think like a single creature that was the true power of a pack.

They would eventually begin their long return leg back towards the domain of the Imuchakk. Though they were friendly people, the huntsman always doubted his acceptance among them. His pack had become a pseudo family, he could traverse the cold wastes with them, guiding them and surviving with them in the harsh tundra that made up most of Imuchakk.

Though he had a fear of her the huntsman was somewhat enamored by the chieftain of the Imuchakk. He wasn’t sure if it was from fear of her sheer power or the respect of how she wielded her ability. He was almost certain that she was the most powerful creature of this land and rightfully so. Though, she had a touch of something odd almost an electric air much like when he and Tai had encountered wolves of pure lightning within the tower within the storms.

Maybe another would rise again, those things only brought destruction and damage to this land. It had left the Chieftain without her commanders and he wondered if the towers were omens of the spirits on nature for as quickly as the rose they fell.

Maybe, he would take his companions there. Maybe those towers were a sign of things to come and the youngsters could always do with the training and experience. Even if it was dangerous, there was little to learn without threat and danger and at least an old blood such as himself could do a few things before these frozen wastes consumed him as well.

Shevika was young and bold and had much to learn, the huntsman did not remember anything much of his youth but maybe he had been the same but who knows. All he could do was maintain his vigil and his watch over as much of the land as he could.

Time had drawn on days and nights when they stood in the fading light, the huntsman’s boot resting upon a solid lump of snow and ice as he looked in the direct of a collection of lights. It was a place of refuge and the Imuchakk proved good trade and care to those among them at the very least even if he felt at odds with his position. Shevika alongside him could hold her stamina well and could travel alongside him, the owling that had become their companion however had to at times rest within the warmth of the hunters’ hood, it was a fast growing creature like many of this land which at least soon should join them.

For the youngster’s they would be arriving at one of their many homes, for the huntsman he doubted he would ever find home…
