[B-tier]Christmas Raid

After the magician and her comrades had finished off the remaining reindeer, Rima decided to spend her time wisely by preparing some more fruit. She crouched down to the ground and pushed away some of the snow, revealing the earth below. She placed one of her fruit seeds into it and pressed her wand against the tilled earth. "Fruit of Restoration!" Vines  erupted from the ground, leaving two Fruit of Restoration hanging from the small plant. The magician grabbed both of the fruit and placed them within her bag, and is now facing towards her allies again.

The magician's mouth opened wide as her eyes fixated on the large ball of flesh that was now floating directly above them. This was bad, very very bad, her nose had also finally caught scent of the absolutely foul creature, causing her to vomit on the snow beneath her. It took her a moment to regain her posture, but when she finally did she did her best to make some distance from the creature, leaving her 15m from both the creature and about 5m away from Diana. She readied her Headless Caster and pointed it directly above her head. "Make sure to move out of the way of my attack guys!" Rima yelled out, making sure that her attack wouldn't hit any of her fellow guardians. "Tasus Altanin!" a black flame ignited at the tip of the wand, a dragon-shaped flame then shot out towards the Flesh Abomination while also leaving a trail of black flame on the ground that would linger on the battlefield for the next three turns. Rima knew using this could potentially do more harm than good, but she had to at least try something.

The first of the group to reach the abomination and challenge it was the red head. The fanalis warrior lashed out at the foul creature but would find that his first two attacks were both intercepted by pairs of tentacles. The four total tentacles that batted away his attack were destroyed as a result however, leaving only six of them left. Unfortunately for Endolf, he wouldn't get much more time intimately close with the abomination. Only one of his follow up attacks landed cleaving a horrible gash into the sphere of flesh. But before his other attacks could land, the flesh abomination backed away out of his range in an attempt to dodge the incoming spell cast by Rima.

The flesh abomination's speed was more than enough to strafe out of the way, but it's movement placed it in the path of Diana's acid mist tornado. When the abomination chose to dodge in this direction the mist was still a lingering cloud. But suddenly it became a wild tornado that sped forward and crashed into the abomination's side. A terrible roar emanated from the various mouths covering its body as a chunk of the abomination's own body sloughed off as it pulled away from the acid tornado positioning itself 7m away from Endolf with him in between the monster and the magician.

Cyrus stared blankly at the mutant ball of death. clutching his double scythe. He sighed and began to get ready to fight again. He hadn't even caught his breath before this multi eyed abomination began attacking them. He would begin with the Headless Sky after watching his fellows begin to damage to the creature he figured that he would use his use one of his most powerful moves to help despatch the creature faster. Cyrus ran over to the ball of doom and slashed in an U just like his sister had taught him. The creature was surprisingly fast and agile so the difficulty of hitting it was increased by Cyrus wasn't daunted! After he attacked, he landed and jumped hoping to get out of the way of any potential assaults that the creature wanted to through at him and the rest of his team.

For the first time in the entirety of their war against the reindeer, Endolf found himself growing frustrated. This floating abomination of oozing flesh had been the first creature he had failed to fell in a single attack, only made more insulting by the fact that he had used several attacks against the creature in succession in the event that he wouldn’t be able to best it in one strike. Yet here it sat, floating and still “alive”. Its very existence taunting him. His Resentment lay atop the snowy valley floor, chain gripped tightly in his right fist as the fingers of his left hand gripped his Molten Strike to the point that a normal whip’s handle would shatter under the pressure.

The monstrosity was injured from what he could tell, even if it hadn’t been obliterated by the male. But he had noticed large portions of the creature had been carved away, mangled cries of pain and agony accompanying each piece that was torn away. His eyes would narrow as he came to an understanding of what he needed to do. Once more he would whistle for Raijin to join the combat, knowing the wolf had done little to nothing so far to contribute. To his surprise his new lupine companion would rush to his side, bringing his head low with electricity sparking along his back as he growled at the abomination.

“Ready buddy?” Endolf himself would get into a low crouch as well, spreading his arms wide as he did so. Seven meters separated Endolf and the abomination, giving him plenty of room to gain a running start and allowing him to keep low. “Now!”

It would be his signal to Raijin, causing the wolf to rush forward after the Fanalis. The beast would leap, hopping onto the male tamer’s back once he approached his waiting companion. Endolf would in turn use himself as a launching point for the wolf, yelling the word “Claw!” as he propelled Raijin towards the abomination. Following Raijin and his improvised aerial variation of his Static Claw attack would be Endolf himself leaping up to attack. One swing from the right, one swing from the left. The combo would continue to repeat as he lashed around his Resentment a total of six more times, adjusting his swings to account for any possible change in positioning from the fleshy mass.

"Hmm." Rima frowned at the sight of her flames missing the flesh abomination. The beast was quite large, so knowing it could dodge her spells with ease was rather frightening. "Let's find out if you can dodge multiple spells at once." the magician said, a large sadistic grin stretching across her face. She then took a moment to dig around in her bag and pulled out a single Onigiri. The girl then proceeded to devour the delicious rice treat, restoring a total of 50 magoi.

"Oh mighty rukh, grant me the power of Flight!" The magician's feet suddenly lifted off of the ground, granting the purple haired girl the ability to fly. Her plan was going to be quite reckless, but someone had to dish out damage to this creature. Rima then began to drift in circles around the beast, making sure to stay exactly 7m away from it at all times. After circling it for a few seconds and making sure that none of her allies would be in the crossfire, she finally decided it was her time to strike.

Rima tightened her grasp on Headless Caster before unleashing hell upon the creature. Her momentum as she flew around the beast also increased, making her slightly harder to hit unless it was able to begin reading her pattern. The magician would start off with her signature flame spell, "Mamnue Alshshams!" she yelled out, drawing a circle in front of her. A 76cm sphere of flame shot out towards the beast, which then would increase to 3m as Rima snapped her fingers.

The purple haired girl drew yet another circle in front of her, "Mamnue Alshshams!" Another 76cm sphere of flame shot out towards the flesh abomination, which increased in size due to Rima snapping her fingers. However, Rima still had one more attack she was going to use against the creature. She stopped moving in circles around the monster for a moment, raising her Headless Caster into the air. "Tasus Altanin!"  a large black flame in the shape of a dragon shot out towards the abomination, leaving yet another trail of black flame on the ground that would linger for 3 posts.

As the myriad attacks were levied against the flesh abomination it began to thrash its tentacles about in a mad fury, but a single instance of flames from the magician as she circled the creature saw to it that every tentacle was burned away before it could do much harm to anyone. The two warriors cut and slashed into the fleshy hide spewing acid onto the snow. Magical hounds were summoned and smashed into the creature and avian attacks helped put the finishing touches on an already dying monster.

There was one last anguished howl from the abomination just before the last reindeer making up its oozing form was killed. The entire ball of flesh sloughed off in chunks as it fell to the ground slowly melting into a small lake of gore and bile. The defenders had come out of the fight victorious!

Cyrus sighed and smiled his trademark half smile. They did it, they won. They destroyed the evil ball of doom. He could barely comprehend how hard it was to defeat the monsters. He nearly died, had that magician not given him some life restoring fruit he would be seriously injured or dead. He lay on the ground looking up at the cold winter sky. Sitting up he realized how lucky he was to be in the company of such great fighters. Though he was clearly the least experienced of them, he was able to hold is own and not die which was something he should be proud of himself. After sitting for a while he got up and made his way out of the frigid land in hopes of finding something a little bit more temperate and a lot less combat intensive. Trudging slowly dragging his weapons on the ground, he left the battle field once and for all pleased with himself at the sheer about of work he had done.
