Seeing in how the tree that he had within his arms weren't drawing their attention, he'd dig through the pines and grab the stem to hold like a javelin. His torso pricked and having some flesh wounds, Aseroth clenched his teeth baring the pain. Positioning the tree in his hand at the incoming one directly hopping at him. Aseroth threw the tree at the incoming tree out of the five that were incoming. Attempting to kill two tree's with one throw. Aseroth sort of enjoying himself, but going down on one knee catching his breathe. Having a burning sensation on his chest, he'd go to pull the pine out so he could potentially patch himself up later to continue fighting. Steadying himself coming to his feet, Aseroth moved over to the the ice wall created by Julius, to duck and recover.

The brave warriors had all defeated part of the horde that was attacking them for the moment. Horrifying screeches and jingles could be heard from the army ahead of them. Something felt weird, however. A menacing aura penetrated the battlefield. Suddenly, the trees all stopped. Vibrating violently they dropped all their ornaments and branches, falling apart onto the ground. For a moment, it was completely silent. It would give the fighters a false hope of victory. The field would stay this way for two minutes until the ground started to rumble. All the remains of the trees, even the ashes, would be dragged towards an epicenter. It then began to form a large figure about 10m tall. The smell that filled the air was grotesque. A mixture of burning pine and spoiled milk filled the air. It was enough to make anyone gag if they didn't have a good tolerance for the smell.

The figure began to take a more visible shape and color as it underwent it's transformation. While the army of trees was gone... a more formidable foe stood in their way. It was a hunched goat-like creature with a cage on it's back. The cage contained a disgusting fleshy organism inside. After a closer look it could be seen as a bunch of children-like beings morphed together into one ball of flesh. High pitched cries could be heard from it. The monster started to move. It's chains dragged across the ice and the bells on the cage straps jingled with every step it took. The creature seemed quite slow at a glance. In both mind and physical capability. Any whom assumed this was very wrong.

"KRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!"

A loud, ear piercing screech bellowed from the goat's lungs. What it said was intelligible but it was clearly enraged. Slamming it's staff onto the ground, it caused the ice to rise up out of the ground slightly. Unless Julius and Lestacia moved away, they would be knocked 5m back from each other. It's gaze glowed red as it looked over to Aayla and Caelus. A feeling of dread filled the air as it waved it's staff in the air in a circular motion. A large star appeared above it, launching at the two fanalis. Aseroth would be left unattended to, luckily. The cage on it's back rattled with anxiousness as the monster in it cooed eerily.

At this point Aayla found herself panting rather heavily. While she wasn't physically exhausted from the fight with the tree’s, they had definitely still managed to do quite a number on her. She had been losing quite a lot of blood this entire time, trails of the once warm liquid leaving trails in the snow where Aayla fought, now even pooling around her as it continued to drip from her head and arms.

Truth be told she was having a hard time seeing at this point as well… her vision had become rather blurred from the loss, as well as the blood soaking her face. No matter how she tried to clear them, the fog within them remained. If this continued for much longer, Aayla feared she wouldn’t make it back to the capital of Kou… she’d never truly get to live the life she chose to live… well, if she died, at least she wouldn’t die a slave. She was here of her own volition wasn’t she? That had to count for something.

Just as Aayla seemed ready to give up, the tree’s stopped moving altogether, leaving an eerie silence hanging in the air around them. Had Aayla been in a better condition, she might have been able to note the ominous aura about it, but right now she was nothing but glad. She drove her sword down into the icy ground, using it to support herself as she took the moment of silence as an opportunity to try and gather herself up.

‘I’m a lot stronger than this… I have to be… I can’t let those things win, I have to put an end to this… breath, Aayla.’
She thought to herself, trying to push herself forward though her body refused. It remained perched against her sword. To those that looked at her, they might have guessed she had fallen unconscious standing up, and she might have if the silence continued.

It didn’t. Aayla couldn’t even take in what was happening to them, she didn’t pay attention to all of the details, all she could make out, was the now hulking form of a monster! The chains that rattled around it’s wrists and the cage caused Aayla to stiffen up, her bloody eyes opening wide with fear at the simple sound the chains produced.

All of a sudden, she felt like she could see clearly… she could see this monster in it’s entirety, though mainly focused on the chains, and the wailing grotesque forms of the children in carried in it’s cage. Her eyes watered as she pulled her sword out of the snow, sheathing it back onto her back quickly as she finally spoke up.

“I… I… I’m sorry..!”
She cried out, suddenly turning away from the giant beast and bolting it in the opposite direction with the full intent of running away. Normally Aayla was no coward, she had faced many dangers and enemies before but this… no. She had just escaped her slaver masters, she wasn’t about to end up like one of those things this monster carried… she wasn’t going to be chained by it...

There seemed to be a sense of horror leaving some of the fighters in a stasis. Aayla had been the bravest out of the bunch for not being frozen by fear. She was smart enough to run away to avoid getting hit by the projectile fired at her and Caelus. Unfortunately, he was hit directly with it for C tier damage to his entire body. The lad would have some intense pain when he woke up as he sustained a great amount of damage already. Krampus bleated with delight as he waved his staff around two more times to fire two stars at both Julius and Aseroth. The pirate would have a harder time dodging as his body was flat on the ground from the resulting ice fissure. A sharp screaming was heard as the cage started becoming more active. Lestacia's body was slowly pulled towards Krampus. When it got to him, she was lifted by an unknown power and shoved into the cage. She was now one with the cage and so the cage calmed down, no longer agitated. Krampus looked over to Aayla and stretched out his arms before speaking, "Cooooooooooooome baaaaaaaaaack," it whimpered creepily, tilting it's head in confusion. Krampus then slammed his staff on the ground, forcing the ice in front of her to push upwards to throw Aayla back towards him. It would only deal D tier damage if she didn't break her fall somehow.

Lestacia is now dead and may no longer post.
(Despite her quitting this already.)

Faking it was the best course of action. Either thing that would transpire to Aseroth was that a large goat man beast appeared and absorbed the only magician. Really was the one word placed through his mind at that time. Next thing was the escaping the star shot at him and Julius it seemed. Maybe or maybe not could he escape the bright star, from the start a lot of thoughts passed through his mind.

It seemed Aalya had the most likely plan of action in running away, but Aseroth wasn't a quitter. Feeling the pressure presumably to fight the beast, clutching his fist. Going left away from Julius to like a semi oval like sprinting towards the beast going around the Star. Complete haven't no kind of words to ig and if not he could damage it. Charging in from the side, pressing the platforms of his feet against the ice to jump leaving cracks in his wake. Jumping toward the torso of Krampus, attempting to punch the beast with his bare hand, than rotating to kick his right leg into its right pex.

With the star flying towards them, and Aayla running away, Caelus did the only thing that would keep her from harm. He jumped into the star, taking the full brunt of the impact to his entire body. It hurt like hell. He imagined it would be comparable to falling onto broken glass, and then immediately falling into a jug of lemon juice. Coupled with his other injuries, the pain caused him to black out for a second. But when he woke up, he stood, and shouted for Aayla.

"AAYLA!" How he knew her name, he may never understand. Perhaps he had heard it before but didn't consciously recognize it until now. "We have a chance! But we have to act! If we don't, others will perish! Our families will suffer! Summon your courage, and fight! Now!"

With that, Caelus turned on his heel, and rushed in towards the beast. The male fanalis was already dealing some damage, tearing away at the borg energy that surrounded it. Caelus twirled Ripple in his hand, and settled into his Mirror's Edge stance once again. With his left hand wrapped around Life Aura, he flooded it with Magoi, causing his eyes to shimmer with a purple light. He looked the beast up and down, searching for the point that pulsed the brightest. When he found it, Caelus moved in.

Caelus leaped high into the air, using his natural strength and acrobatic ability to send him flying. He raised Ripple in a sidelong pose, before activating Frost Mantle to shroud his reentry in fog. The icy air causing it to freeze and fall to the ground moments after, shattering against the snow below in a rainbow of colors. Just one second before striking, Caelus uses Mirror's Gambit, targeting the point on the beast that glowed most bright with life energy. He would shout, "Boreal Gambit!", unable to resist his natural showmanship before plunging the blade forward to try and strike home.

Her eyes were full of tears, just barely managing to wash away some of the blood already covering them. She barely noticed the ice come up in front of her in an arc, reacting at the very last minute by jumping onto it as if a free runner scaling a wall. A very icy, slippery wall. She didn’t do too well, her feet fumbling and sliding out from under head and thrusting her back towards the strange creature. It wasn’t by much, but it definitely stopped her from fleeing the scene.

She wouldn’t be any use to anyone, she could barely keep herself conscious as it was, and then this thing had her in full flight mode. When Caelus called out to her, she looked at him with the same panicked, desperate expression that crossed her face when the creature first appeared. She was a complete mess.

“I’m not a hero. I… I can’t fight… I don’t… have anyone to protect… and I’m n...not going to be… chained up again!”
She cried out to him, stammering up to her feet once more, wobbling as she was straight. She would quickly make her way over towards Caelus now though as she hoped she may get away with his help.

That idea was dashed rather quickly as he dashed towards the creature in an attempt to take it down. She couldn’t fight this, and she couldn’t get away… so what could she do?? Well, it might not do very much but she supposed there was one thing that might help…

She sucked in a deep breath, shifting her stance to a much wider, steadier horse stance and cried out as loudly as she could. The sound of her cry sounded like a roar to those around her. She aimed her roar towards the creature in hoped of disorienting it long enough for Caelus to take care of it.

The pirate's plans to save the blonde Mage were successful in how he carried them out, however, they would be useless at the end of it all. One second, he'd been giving her a gentle grin, the next, a giant ice wall would appear between him and fling him back to the floor. The element of surprise was a terrible weapon that he used well, but however hated when it was used against him. That's when he heard a rigid scream and something grab the magician that had been pushed to the other side of the wall. What happened next was out of the site of the pirate thankfully, or he might've puked.

Suddenly, a large star poked over the wall and shot down with a quick beam of light at Julius. The dog couldn't dodge it in time, and therefore it hit him. It wasn't enough to bring him down though. Except, it wasn't enough to stop him from groaning in pain. Adrenaline kicked in soon after and he hopped back up to his toes. He climbed the wall to see Lestacia gone and the trees as well.

Krampus, the fear of those poor German children had appeared. The creature who would take the kiddies and throw them in his back-sack. Dark days were ensured. Julius wouldn't stand Saint Nick's abominations. With both blades in hand, Julius sprinted forwards at ludicrous speeds, putting his body to the test. He shouted at the top of his lunges before leaping into the air and performing a large double-sworded critical strike(Sustained B-tier dmg), upon the Krampus.

A flurry of attacks were landed onto the unsuspecting Krampus but not without retaliation. Aseroth was the first to attack, breaking his borg with his powerful punch and going in for a kick. The vile beast screeched with anger as he slammed his staff onto the ground, creating a rupture in the ice that tossed Aayla back before she could use her roar. Caelus, Julius, and Aseroth were there before Krampus, trying to unleash a flurry of attacks. The un-jolly goat wiggled his torso, jingling his bells leaving the three warriors dazed and confused, stopping their attacks completely.

He hobbled backwards away from the four assailants to create distance while waving his staff in the air. This created three stars that came crashing at the three men. Unfortunately, Aseroth was unlucky in this instance. The star had been enough to almost kill him. However, the monster that is Krampus was now clearly fatigued. Scared as he was because he was now open to attacks, he held his staff in two hands. Ready to smack at anyone who approaches.

Krampus' borg has broken! It will be back up after this post so get your attacks in while you can! But be careful... he will attempt to smack you with his staff for D tier damage!

The sound of the bells caused Caelus' world to turn upside-down, sending him sprawling into the snow beside the other two men. The noise caused him to lose concentration on his magic tools, ending his life-sight and the fog cloud, as well as throwing him out of the Mirror's Edge stance. He was up first however, and watched as the demon shuffled backward. It became clear that without teamwork, they would never be able to take the best down. Someone to defend. Someone to break his borg, and another to strike. That's the minimum. But if someone falls... He shook himself out of his fear. There's no time for that! We will succeed! The demon spun its staff, firing more star projectiles aimed at the two beside him.

Caelus put on a burst of speed with Quickstep, getting in front of his companions before parrying all three stars into the ground with Sideswipe, twirling ripple in tight circles in front of him. "GET UP!" He shouted. "I'll handle defense, so just give him all you've got! Break his staff if you can!" He would then run up and around the demon, darting around him and doubling back in order to keep his attention. If at any time the demon turned to strike his companions, Caelus would intervene with another Sideswipe, making sure they could proceed unhindered.

Julius grinned wickedly as his foe was going to fall. Only the damned retreated from their enemies. The red-capped villain would learn that he would soon be powerful enough to take him on. This was only step one!.. The pirate was suddenly thrown onto his back. That sniveling fool of a goat-thing would pay for messing with the one and only pirate lord! Julius, with a quick flick of his feet was back on his feet and running at the Krampus at high speeds. He didn't need to dodge a mere swing of a staff. A bruise or two wasn't enough to take the dog out. His blood was pumping and running rampant.

He wanted the blood of sinners upon his wretched blades. With a quick swing of the blades, Julius performed a scaled crippling sweep to, hopefully, cleanly slice off Krampus's legs. This beast was going down, one way, or another!

Before Krampus could even react to the warriors, his legs had been cleanly sliced off by Julius' sweeping move. He screamed in agony and fell backwards onto the ground as crimson blood spurted out of the stumps. The cage on his back bent against his weight. Agitated, the cage screamed and illuminated brightly with a red aura as it started sucking in Aseroth and Aayla into it's clutches. As their bodies became one with the cage, Krampus' weight collapsed onto it, crushing it into a pool of glistening red liquid onto the ice floor. The monster's body twitched and he moaned for a while until he finally ceased to live. All of his gorey remains suddenly evaporated into the air becoming a wispy cloud of sparkles. A beautiful sight to such a horrid ending for the two unfortunate fanalis. Now, only the pirate and the warrior stood. Survivors they were in this night. Yet battles were still ongoing in other places. The sounds of discord did not cease just yet.

Aayla and Aseroth are now dead.
