It had reached the period of September, the temperatures were beginning to change a slightly more harsh spell of temperature in the winds passed over Imuchakk, though that didn't affect the natives, who could survive the climate without clothing if they had too.

This period was important to the Imuchakk, it was the time at which the Rampaging Unicorn (Southern Creature) began its spawning, during this period a large number of the Rampaging Unicorn Population migrated to the area around Imuchakk heading towards its major tributary that ran into the ocean, they would head up towards the fresh water to release their eggs before they would be pulled into the sea itself.

During this period, the hunting of the Rampaging Unicorn was prevented for the most part, after all these creatures were viewed highly as a test of adulthood and the adults during this period would not be as strong as they would be normally if a young Imuchakk aimed to hunt one, However some would wait until the end of this period once the hunting opened up again to prove there power and strength and seek their adult name as an Imuchakk.

With it being such a sacred time, it also caused some of the Imuchakk to pursue matter of romance with this time of pause before the return to gaining their name, some Imuchakk used the time to set their sights on the one that they would prove their ability to, so that they could ask for their hand in marriage.

...

Like always though it was a time for celebration from the beer keg, the Imuchakk lived in great sustenance and like always it made a good time for Vodarara to trade his wears.

The huntsman his unstrung rampaging unicorn bow strapped to his pack with much of his equipment, his pack was laden with hides, fangs and other items that the huntsman could barter and trade. To his side his companion, Shevika padded alongside keeping pace easily with the huntsman.

They moved into the primary settlement of the Imuchakk, Vodarara made his way towards the districts that were more likely to be viable for the bartering of his goods.

Today was a day like no other.

The prior night Ro had spent every waking moment drinking until he had hit his limit among many cute Imuchakk women until he had felt he could do no more. The morning he spent recovering under the screams and ecstatic cries of the people in the streets. This had been his first year within his home as the prestigious event of the spawning of the Southern Fish came into play. His father now in his gruffer years urged the male to get up and get ready to go out shopping which there had been a few displaced grunts before spears had been thrown and Ro was faced with half a spear near his nose.

Thankfully he had stopped it before things had gotten worse and he had been impaled. After getting dressed he headed out with his father to where the shops had been set up, Ro still had no weapons on him even though he had considered picking one up when he had left Kina, but since he didn't have a need at the moment he didn't necessarily care at the time. At any rate the son and his father walked the street in silence for a moment, Ro looking around through the few spots that his hair allowed him to before walking off towards the different stalls.

Vodarara made his way up to his first target trader, this Imuchakk and his family their ability to produce great smoked and salted meat produce, these items would take Vodarara significant time and resources to produce and thusly Vodarara targeted these goods, though traders knew what each other were after most of the time, the idea was to come to at least a balanced arrangement though an arrangement in your favour was always preferable.

Vodarara’s primary trading good when he approached this man was hides, Vodarara began speaking to the Imuchakk with his previous bartering, he was already aware of the mans name.

“Tatara, I have two Lupine hides of good condition and 8 Hare hides of moderate to perfect condition, I want the one and a heavy whetstone weights worth of the smoked meats”

Vodarara planted the hides on the man’s stall, Vodarara was a straight to the point-man if he was talking, he had no time to move around the point and went in head first.

The Imuchakk responded in his gruff and aged tone, “Hunter, likewise surely you know I can’t take such a trade, it’s not valuable enough for me and you are aware of the normal value of my produce and the normal cost, show me the bear hide on your pack I want to see it”

Vodarara saw no issue with showing the Imuchakk after all losing the ability to trade and barter with the man would be far more damaging, his meats made good trade for other things and Vodarara himself could feed it to Shevika and himself.

The Huntsman had used a certain items weight to judge his trades and these dealings where no different to others he had begun learning with since his recruitment into the Imuchakk Tribes.

At long last the male and his father made it to the central hub for all things Imuchakk and this little event, the trading area. The young half-ling and his father continued on their way before breaking off to take care of their own things, Rokurou however went toward the nearest place with booze because why not celebrate in your home town? The male was met with glasses aplenty as he toured the streets looking at the many wears that had adorned the area. Apart of him wished that his mother could have been here to see this, but knowing how hard it was for him to grow up here she wouldn't have liked it very much.

As he continued to walk however he picked up on the smell of freshly cured meat which to him meant free food so he strolled on over. Making quick in his pace he arrived only to see another male bartering for the food with pelts and for a moment he simply observed. After a moment or two he stepped forward and looked at the vendor only smiling slightly," I'll pay for this man's meat and a little for myself if your trade doesn't work out," his eyes flashed from one male to the next as he waited, his hands sliding into the depths of his sleeves in anticipation.

The Huntsman looked over at the boy, he was acting far to generous in this work and you don't get anything for free, maybe he pursued other objectives, this one was young however and like many imuchakk also would have a massive need to eat large volumes of food to cover their energy expenditure and their growth speed and mass.

Vodarara continued his bartering, though decided to reduce what he was pursing while removing his rabbit skins from the equation, Vodarara would rather that the young Imuchakk didn't show any pursuit in his food, hoping that allowing the youngster to have the ability to purchase some good cuts would keep his tongue distracted.

Vodarara quickly wrapped up the trade, it wasn't optimal due to the youngsters interest in the food as well, a trader after all can charge more if they have more interest and the huntsman attempted to make bid his escape with his food and his rabbit wolf.

The season came to an end and the Rampaging Unicorns spawned bringing forth their next generation, this was one part of the eternal cycle that kept the land and sea of Imuchakk fertile.

With the cycle continuing those that passed would nourish the invertebrates, which would onward nourish the other species through the cycle.

With the Rampaging Unicorns regaining their strength after spawning, the young Imuchakk could return to proving themselves in the enduring test of hunting down the creatures and slaying them by themselves, the task to reach adulthood was dangerous but it brought great rewards, Those victorious been adult with their horn in-hand.
