Character: He is a relaxed, cool, casual, and calm person. Yet, yes he may be laid back, do not take Trently as a pushover, as he can cut your ass up easy peasy. His immense love for beasts and animals can maybe save you in case you have got on his bad side. Trently is a very social person and loves to help people who may be in need and even more so when huang is involved. He has a superb taste in people and who they are as a person once he has met them. The lad has made lots of friends and mates along his travels and seeks to make many more as he goes about his ventures. At times, he can be very energetic and boisterous, quite much so. Young Trently is a heroic and adventurous boy akin to the standard hero of fantasy books and novels.

Loves: Stories and tales, he has loved stories and tales for as long as he has loved his old late grandpa. His grandpa used to say that tales are legends, ones that could go on for as long as they are told. The lad also has a love for stories and tales that have brave heroes in them. He looks to one day too, also become a brave hero. Trent hopes he can have a grand tale and have that tale be told for many, many, many years to come, for as long as the tale can be told. On top of his love for whimsical stories and tales, he also loves to overcome obstacles he comes to face, overcome obstacles that stand in his way.

Hates: Seafood, he hates seafood, a lot. The smell of it to the taste of it, the boy cannot stand seafood at all. Yet, there is something he detests even more than that. What the warrior cannot stand are negative or pessimistic people. Being an optimistic person, his archenemies are those that undermine him or underestimate him and say he cannot achieve what he seeks to do. He wants to prove them wrong and fly toward his dreams, like a bird.

Aspirations: Ever since a young lad, he has been encaptivated by a vast amount of things. It is impossible to pinpoint just one great dream that he has as he is always creating more for the sake of continuing his journey, however, there are a few he could for sure dub as his true dreams. One of which is to succeed at being a brave hero who has explored all the corners of the world, gaining fame surrounding his name. Then, the other is to stop a war from tearing down the world or a nation, not just a single war but as many as he can. To do that, he sought for the role of a general. Though, he was unsure if he should actually go for it or not, or take a higher role in the world instead that can put him in a great position of power, all for the greater good, however. He hopes to create a legacy that lasts for as long as humanly possible.

Fears: The worst thing that could ever happen to Trently that he wishes to never occur is an end to everything as we know it. He strives to ensure this does not ever go down, for the people he cares for and the innocence of this world he lives in. Trently aims to keep on bettering himself and refining the person who he is. The thought of not being able to complete his dreams or the world ending is quite daunting to him. That is his absolute worst fear.

Appearance: Trently is a young and fairly skinned boy with a slight tan. He has a lean but very muscular build for a male of his age. The Yanaihara descent has blue eyes with traits carried over from a country that is not of Kou but another instead. His locks of hair also seem to carry over from someplace else but not entirely, same going again for his eyes, they are mixed with a place outside of the Kou Empire. A noticeable feature of him is that his long hair is rather wavy and somewhat straight, picked up in an adventurous ponytail. One of the other things a person may notice when looking at Trently though is that he has a scar across the bridge of his nose. The scar was received when sword training as a very young kid. He dawns a traditional samurai attire consisting of a hakama with an undershirt that is white along with a red robe that shifts into white at the edge of his sleeves with it doing the same also at the end of his torso. All of the above alongside blue hakama pants. This fashion typically found in Kina is popular in a certain part of Kou where Trently is from, and this includes geta which Trently also wears. His body language is that of very calm until he gets excited like he does often and he begins moving and talking with more spunk. When he is angry though, beware of his presence as he may start to appear quiet but in truth, he is simply just trying to suppress his rage. Unless he feels he should act upon his anger, he is not going to budge an inch.

Rukh Alignment: White

Special Traits: A demon horn of electricity resides on the side of his head if he chooses to show it. When his horn is out, a scar runs down the left side of his face and torso that resembles a lightning bolt.

History: The day that Trently was born, it had been raining in a certain part of the Kou Empire for a couple days with no signs of ending. Soldiers of the Kou Empire were attempting to patrol the streets for the four days straight that the rain had been falling but the rain only got worse and soon transformed into a storm. Once the storm had calmed down and diminished, Trently had already been born into the Yanaihara family. They were known in their local area at the time to be highly skilled warriors. Amidst the storm and the time that the mother of Trently was in labor though, the Yanaihara estate was low on food. After baby Trently's strange but fateful birth, he was marked as the storm child within his immediate and extended family due to being born in the middle of such a brutal and vicious storm. During the years that followed, a Yanaihara school of martial artists opened up, a great amount of income hit the Yanaihara estate, and the father of Trently, Kasai, he received the position as a general of the Kou Empire's military. Hundreds of young men and women began learning how to fight under the Yanaihara family. A few students were to even go on to become great and respected soldiers or mercenaries. The Yanaihara family was in their prime. As Trently had grown up, his now late grandfather, was to be the one who taught him a lot of what he knows now in terms of swordsmanship. His gramps, Yanaihara Chien, was a specially trained mercenary who was hired to carry out important missions. Due to his family's warrior background, Trently was forced to undergo intense training as a kid that only a very few select Yanaihara went through.

At age of ten in Trently's life, his grandfather was to have received a very important and special request from the upper echelons of the Kou Empire. Chien was tasked to stop an amateur group of rebels from threatening the peace of the streets of Kou. Upon going to investigate and making an attempt to stop the young rebel organization, he was killed, sadly. Chien lost his life in a rough skirmish with the rebel group. Upset by the news of his grandfather's death, Trently vowed to himself to train a lot harder, much harder than he had ever before. The death of his gramps pushed him to start seeking out the power to help and save the ones he loves from harm. There was a quote from his grandfather that was dear to him, a quote that inspired him to venture out into the world.

"Kou has become a shady and odd place as of recent, things seem to be changing, for the better or worse. Torento, I wonder what it is like in other countries at the moment. Would it not be quite exciting to have a journey across the many lands of this world, Torento Yanaihara?" Magi World
Said the elderly Yanaihara Chien before his death just two months later. The remaining close relatives that Trently had were his aunt, uncle, and mother. His father had wandered someplace else outside of the Kou Empire and into the world. The blood father of Trently had been labeled a traitor of the Kou Empire and was not welcomed back by Gao Yuan Zu. Years later now, Trently were to have aged and grown into a young man and soon to be a soldier of the Kou Empire. However, the words of his grandfather before he died were to persuade him to not become a soldier but instead, an adventurer. Taking up the katana of his grandfather, he fled from Kou in hopes to return one day with more power to protect his loved ones. In search of great riches, power, and wisdom, he departed for the vast, wondrous, and magical world that awaited.

    With a blade in hand, the user raise their blade into the air and brings forth his blade onto the foe as they bounce up 2m. Striking at the foe from above, the user forces his blade in an attempt to deal a D-Tier wound. If not and the foe defends, the user is blown back 2m. As the blade falls onto the foe, the user's feet are not touching the ground as they are forcing their weight on top of their strike.

Requirements/Drawbacks: The requirement in order to perform this defensive technique is to position the blade in a vertical position in front of his chest in order to fend off whatever incoming technique or attack is being sent at the user.     Torento must position his blade vertically and about a meter in front of his chest in order to fend off and parry incoming techniques and damage. This technique can tank and fend off techniques of the same tier and cut damage in half from a technique that is one tier higher.

The target has difficulty ignoring the damage and harm done due to the massive tearing, bleeding, and wounding of the whole technique.

    With Trently's blade sheathed and or out, he puts his hand on the hilt. In a split second, he then swipes the blade in a vertical or horizontal motion. Trently's wielded blade smacks the target's weapon out of their hand five meters away, disarming the target. Afterward, Trently's blade of choice strikes out at the opponent; dealing D-Tier damage. It does not function against targets with a higher tier than the ability. Targets who are struck by this ability are required to retrieve back their weapon if they wish to wield it again.

    With Trently's blade sheathed and or out, he puts his hand on it's hilt and motions the blade in a swift 360 cutting spin that cuts anything within it's radius. At the end of the 360 spin in which Trently finishes, Trently strikes his blade into the air to complete the Dansu Toru; dealing D-Tier Damage to anyone caught by the blade's dance.

It does not stack with the ranges of the target or ability but simply makes it travel 30m away from the user as fast at whatever tier the target or ability is in damage. Things struck by the electricity sparks are knocked back 5 meters every time each time they are hit if the user so chooses.

Requirements/Drawbacks: Target(s) have to be under the storm. The user must slash his blade twice above his head to activate the move.
Scaling: For every 10 magoi spent, the user can give 1 of his allies an eye 3m diameter also. An ally given eye acts the same as the user's own eye.

Description:

    The user conjures a storm that is stationary from where it was cast but its eye follows the user, protecting the user from the effects of the storm. The storm is overhead the user 40m but can be made lower as long as the storm stays overhead. Any and all opposing objects or opponents under the storm are susceptible to being slowed down by the strong winds occurring within the storm. The opponents or opposing objects within the first ten meters of the storm have their basic actions and abilities slowed down by 1 tier. The opponents or opposing objects within the second ten meters of the storm have their basic actions and abilities slowed down by 2 tiers. The opponents or opposing objects within the third ten meters of the storm have their basic actions and abilities slowed down by 3 tiers. The opponents or opposing objects within the fourth ten meters of the storm have their basic actions and abilities slowed down by 4 tiers. The fourth ten meters is the closest area of the storm to the user when the storm was cast while the first ten meters is the farthest area of the storm from the user when the storm was cast. The user is unaffected by the storm because he will be in the eye of the storm that is 3m in diameter. Trait Description: The user has a 32cm horn sticking out of the center-left side of their skull. The horn has an ivory look to it with a charred black tip that fades into the color. Around the horn is three silver bands, each naturally stuck to the horn. Resonating with electrical energy, building it up. The horn holds electricity but it leaves part of the body scarred, causing the person torso to and to the left side of the face to have scar tissue running down and around his form resembling a lightning bolt.
Trait Effect: The horn takes A-tier damage to break but is immune to electrical damage has whenever it is struck with it holds the energy. The horn is only capable of holding up to A-tiers worth of damage in the horn, if it takes anymore it will explode dealing damage to everyone within a 3m diameter. If the horn is damaged at all during build up it will also explode in the same size dealing damage based on how much was stored. They are also capable of generating lightning in the horn through combat, for every 2 combat actions the horn stores a D-tier worth of electrical energy. Despite its discharge effect, the player is capable of letting out the energy on their own. For 20 magoi they can let it course through them charging their attacks and power, granting an electrical aura that lasts 2 posts. It lets them use the electricity to enhance their attacks, extending their range by 1m with the electrical surges and dealing the stored up damage, disappearing when it's all been utilized.

  • Feather Mark - Feeding magoi into the paper causes it to stick to the next surface the user places it on. It will then cause the target to become weightless for 1 post. If the user places it on themselves, they can feed more magoi into it to continue the effect. This does not grant flight, however it does allow the user to to lift things they otherwise could not or jump higher than they would otherwise be able to. Unfortunately, it also makes it easier for the affected target to be blown away or knocked back making it a double edged sword if used on oneself. 10 Magoi to activate | 5 Magoi to sustain.




Cold Casket [Magic Weapon]:

Appearance: A 150 cm tall and 90 cm wide, kite shield made from what looks to be a skull encased in dry ice. Perhaps the skull is from an unfortunate dungeon challenger? The shield is 25 cm at its thickest making rather heavy and cumbersome without the use of above average strength. It has two straps and a grip for easier and more comfortable maneuverability.
Function:


  • Cold's Grip - When the user feeds magoi into the shield and blocks/touches a physical attack/object, the dry ice flash freezes 1 square meter of the physical attack/object. The flash freezing is only on the surface and doesn't deal damage, but the physical attack/object gets stuck to the shield and can't get free for 3 posts unless the shield itself or the ice is broken. Damage, if applicable, is still dealt to the shield when using this ability. 10 Magoi to activate | 5 Magoi to sustain

  • Shine Bright - Feeding magoi into this sword will create a glimmer of light that travels up and down the blade rapidly, giving the blade a "vibrating" visual effect that could potentially throw their enemies off guard. They are then able to release the light within the blade, creating a 5m "solar flare" around them. If anyone within this "solar flare" has their eyes open, including the user, they will be completely blinded for a very short period of time. After the blindness fades away, the affected people will then have to deal with extremely blurry vision for the next 3 posts.

Function:


  • Cloak -  Feeding magoi into this necklace will cause the user and all the equipment they are wearing to vanish to anyone not in a 2m radius of them. Alternatively, they could choose to make a single inanimate object they are touching, vanish.  As long as they keep their breath under control and not attempt any kind of combat-related action, their presence will have vanished completely and is not detectable by normal means. If their breath becomes suddenly unstable or they attempt to strike their enemy during the activation of Cloak, the effect will begin to fade away. An inanimate object affected by this will simply revert after 1 post.  10 Magoi to activate | 5 Magoi to sustain.

  • Mirror -  Feeding magoi into this necklace will cause the user and all the equipment they are wearing to mirror a target of their choosing within a 5m radius. The users own actions will now be cloaked in a harmless illusion of the target's own actions to anyone within 5m of the mirrored user. If their breath becomes suddenly unstable during the activation of Mirror, the effect will begin to fade away.  10 Magoi to activate | 5 Magoi to sustain.

Appearance: A standard prosthetic arm, made up of 100% pure titanium. The arm seems to adjust it’s size and weight to fit any user. The magic circle is directly on top of the hand, and will glow a faint black color when fed magoi.
Function:


  • Force - By feeding magoi into the arm, the user is then granted a powerful form of telekinesis; via strength magic. The telekinesis allows for simple radial movement but lacks the accuracy to perform any complicated tasks. Any inanimate object they may have touched within their last post becomes eligible to be controlled by them. As long as the object is within exactly 40-meters of the user, they are able to control it freely, moving it anywhere within the set range. If the object is to go past the set range, the user will lose complete control over it.
  • Handy - As long as the user has at least 20 magoi left in the current thread, this magic tool will work as a fully functional arm. If the user is below the 20 magoi threshold, the arm will no longer function until their magoi is restored. Additionally, this arm is capable of applying A-Tier basic damage equivalent to A-Tier enhanced strength. This arm does not feel pain, but will take damage like any other item would.



Universal Sheath [Magic Item]:

Appearance: Normally a 75 cm long, 10 cm wide sheathe with aesthetics reminiscent of Kou style. This sheathe probably belonged to a regular soldier of the Kou Empire who ventured too far, but now the sheathe has been altered by the dungeon's power. The strangest aspect of this sheathe, aside from the magic, is the inside; it looks like a whole universe is encased within the sheathe.
Function:


  • One Size - If the user tries to sheathe any weapon into this sheathe, the sheathe will contract, shift, and warp its shape, size, and form in order to perfectly fit the weapon. Removing the weapon from the sheathe will revert the sheathe to its original shape, size, and form. No cost.

  • Fits All - If the sheathe is not in use and the user feed magoi into the void sheathe, then a powerful vacuum is created inside the sheathe. The vacuum force is in the shape of a 5m wide fan up to 1m in front of the sheath. Anything that weighs less than paper will get sucked into the sheathe, never to be seen again. No matter the size of the objects getting sucked in, the sheathe will compensate. This is generally useless against physical attacks with mass due to the weight limit, but is very effective against intangible attacks such as flames or gases. 10 Magoi to activate | 5 Magoi to sustain.

  • This magical carpet gives a 25% word count reduction on traveling topics.
  • The carpet can fly at great speeds equivalent to an A-tier flight spell, up to a height of 60 meters. The carpet can hold up to 5 people at a time before being weighed down. This function is free in social situations but costs magoi to be used in combat or when under attack. 10 magoi to activate | 5 to sustain.

Appearance: On the outside, it is an ordinary flask that is roughly 20 cm tall and 7 cm wide. During the day, the inside is filled with a warm, fluorescent golden liquid that seems to come alive at the touch. It's warmth reminds you of the kiss of the sun on a summer day or a mother's loving embrace. In the night, the liquid turns blue and cold, shining brightly like the moon.
Function:


  • The Wrath of Apollo - After channeling magoi into the flask, keeping the flask upright, the liquid sunlight will drain out and seep into the ground. A pillar of scorching light that is 20 meters in diameter will erupt from the ground underneath the target and deal B tier damage in the form of burns as well as applying the effects of the magic type.
  • The Gift of Diana - After channeling magoi into the flask, turning the flask upside down, the liquid moonlight will drain out onto the surface below, creating an icy mirror that is 15 meters in diameter. It will show any past or present the user wishes to see. However, it will be silent and the user many only look into a maximum of 1 threads per use or sustain.



Kutter's Katana [Magic Weapon]:



Name: Kutter's Katana

Type: Magic Weapon - Sword
Magic Type: Razor (Wind + Strength)
Appearance: This 100 cm long katana once belonged to Kutter, an adventurer from Kou who lost to against Caim's traps. The body of the adventurer was swallowed up, but the sword remained, absorbing the magoi of the dungeon and eventually gaining powerful magic. With a 75 cm blade length, 1.5 cm blade thickness, 25 cm handle length, and a 15 cm guard diameter, this sword is indeed as beautiful as it is sharp.
Function:


  • Subatomic Slice - The user feeds magoi into the sword using two hands, causing the sword to coat its blade in an immeasurably sharp razor edge. The next slash of the blade will send a flying edge of razor magic up to 20m through the air severing things with A-Tier damage. Things cut with razor magic are unable to be put back together again regardless of healing spells used on them for a minimum of 3 posts.. 10 Magoi to activate | 5 Magoi to sustain.



Shuriken of Storms [Magic Weapon]:

Appearance: This shuriken is approximately .5 meters across and the magic circle is inscribed on the blue gem in the center of the blades. The blades appear to have streaks of lightning through them.
Function:


  • Stormfall - When the user throws the shuriken after feeding it magoi, it causes a 2m diameter disc of storm magic to spread from its center. The shuriken will stop above the target and the disc of storm clouds will glow brightly for a brief moment. The space directly beneath the shuriken is then struck with a giant lightning bolt capable of covering the entire 2m diameter. Anything caught by the bolt is dealt B-tier damage and electrical paralysis that lasts for one posts. The range of this attack is 10m.
  • Tempest Zone - The user activates this function by keeping the shuriken held in their hand with its center placed against their palm. Feeding magoi into the tool with that condition met causes thick storm clouds to form around the user. The clouds grow to cover a 10m diameter spreading throughout the area blocking the vision of anything within the area unless they are at least 1m away from each other. The electricity within the storm cloud detects the electromagnetic fields of living beings and informs the caster of their location.

The part of the blade closest to the hilt is curved away from the hilt to allow for opposing weapons to slide off the blade. The guard spans the entirety of the hilt, being only 3.5 cm away. However, the guard is hollowed out to allow for more space in case the wielder has a large hand which technically makes the most hollow area 6 cm away from the hilt. The guard also features protrusions to allow for extra sharp punches. The sword is made solely out of a light metal found near Magnostadt.

The tower shield stands 2m tall and 0.6m wide capable of covering a full grown Imuchakk if they crouch their profile behind it. The surface of the shield has been polished to a reflective sheen and the back is socketed with leather forearm straps allowing the wielder's hands to remain free.

Crimson cloth hangs over the front of the shield covering up a socket where an orange gem has been fitted. The gem has been cut into a perfect circle and possesses and engraving of the eight pointed star.

  • Blinding Sheen - Feeding magoi into the magic tool causes the entire front surface of the shield glows with a bright orange light. When the caster wishes, this glow bursts into a bright flash spreading in a semicircle in front of the shield. The radii of this semicircle 5m. Those caught inside the circle will be blinded for 1 post and suffer blurry vision for 2 posts. The light spreads to fill the area of effect creating countless source points for the light as opposed to releasing it in a single direction. This causes the effect to be omnidirectional so simply looking away from the shield is not enough to avoid this effect if you are inside its range. 10 Magoi to activate | 5 to sustain.

  • Sympathetic Shifting - When the user feeds magoi into the bottle, the slime inside reacts. The user must then remove the cork top, allowing the slime to escape the bottle and shape-shift into any weapon imaginable, though only up to 3 meters large. The potion bottle becomes the pommel of the weapon, keeping the slime's structure in tact. If the bottle is broken, the slime's structure cannot hold and subsequently falls apart. However, the slime itself can just reform itself when damaged. No matter the weapon created, the maximum damage output is always basic C-tier damage.
