Mind Training (UC Training)

Today was the usually, hot and sticky with light shining on people. Even today, the hero still can't believe that he decided to go into a dungeon. Val knew that it would be an amazing experience, but he was still scared.The feeling of facing monster after monster, puzzle after puzzle made him shiver. However, he knew he still had another job to do, the Unity Corp.

He knew that he had to have to train every certain amount of days for his Corp. Val felt he needed a different type of training, something that does not include physical strength alone. He went to the nearest store to grab some paper and got his gear, including water, weapons, and the new items he has both.

He looked around the desert to see nothing but just a wasteland. The emptiness and dried bones made him feel a little sick inside. He looked around, trying to find a nice place to sit. Suddenly, he heard laughing sounds and they were exaggerated. Val drew his sword and looked to where the sound echoed. In the distance, he can see possible thief roaming around. Val sighed in disgust as he dashed toward them.

The criminals were drunk so they did not notice Val's attack. The hero even noticed they took hostages with their swords against their neck. The human thought of a strategy would could be very tricky but it could work. Val had his swords ready and went around the small wagon in a circle. The criminals tried to use bow and arrow to catch   Val, but they were so drunk out of their mind that they could not aim properly. As he was running, the hero cut off the wheels of the wagon, making sure it did not go away while he was not looking. He then jumped onto the wagon and got ready to fight.

Val stood there as the thieves tried to attack them with all their force. The hero sighed with disgust on how they are willing to fight even though they are extremely drunk. Val punched one thief to the chest while he kicked another to the ribs. To the hero, this was nothing as they had no skill whatsoever. It was also very easy to spot the alpha, with his more colored mask. The weird thing is that the mask has a weird symbol, showing a scorpion.

The hero just realized that everyone has something related to a scorpion either it be a tattoo, a mask, and even jewelry. Using these clues, Val can justify that there is another criminal organization or gang in Helio. It cannot be a popular animal or something along those lines. The hero just involved himself into something serious.

After defeated all of the thieves, including the leader, He gave the money they stole to the people hostage. He then goes back to his training and his original plan.

Val sat on smooth bones that almost felt like a bed. It took a grueling hour to find it but the hero thought it was worth it. He took out the paper and pencil out of his backpack and started to write.

He was thinking of making a plan for his mission in the Plains when he comes back after the dungeon.

This was about the Black Hand, a criminal organization. From Val and Lagi's conversation, he remembers on the info. There is something wrong in the Plains as the Black Hand's operation mostly consisted of there. They do not have a lot of info but there is an informent at the Plains which Val has to meet.

There was not a lot of info regarding the group, especially because they are not very known nor or they extremely powerful. But, regarding the different incidents that have occurred in Reim, we need to make sure the group is stopped for good. This is the only way to prevent from all the problems happening in Reim. The hero looked at the blank paper, puzzled on what to do next. He does not know the ground nor does he know anything about this organization. There are a lot of vague information in this mission. The hero then started to start from step 1 by writing Plains on the paper. That is their location but not their exact so Val thinks of ideas. Most likely, they are going to hide themselves in a secret location. They want to be kept a secret so no else can find. Val then starts to draw a rectangle box, thinking it is the base. Obviously, it will not be the exact shape and size, but it's a good replacement to the actual figure. Then he thought about security. Val was not so sure if the base was either the main base of operations or just a small camp, however, they had to expect big. There will be most likely be archers, maybe some guards, and a leader of the base. There could be more people but Val wanted to keep it this size for now. He draws them in, thinking of what else.

Val knows that he has to hone on his skills, primarily his hand combat. If he loses his weapons, he needs another way in order to fight to not be defenseless against his opponent. Val then continues drawing hours and hours, trying to find a good tactic. He worked until midnight and slept at the nearest place to sleep. Now he knows his ultimate plan to succeed in his mission.
