Val slowly opens his eyes to the nice noise of peaceful crowd in the morning. He slowly brings his body to a sitting position on the bed as he yawns. Today was the first day he is going to do Unity Corp Training alone. Val picks himself off the bed as he heads into the nice shower area to get himself fresh and clean. As he does he tries to remember his goal for that day. When he fought Lagi, he had a feeling that the king was going easy on him. From that day, Val was sub consciously frightened to go on this mission but he needs to fulfill the needs of the Corp. Val knows he needs more strength and different skills but he needs to work on the original skills he has now. It may be the only way to improve himself and Val will stop at nothing to improve. He gets off the shower and gets a nice towel to dry himself off. He takes some times to change and get all his equipment ready to train. As he runs out of the door, he takes a fresh loaf of bread as his breakfast.

He runs directly to the barracks, one of the best places to get training and practice on different techniques. He gets into the changing room, getting into a nice T-Shirt with some sweatpants but he does not carry a sword. Even though swordsmanship is great, it can be a big weakness for a fighter. He remembers when his hands were immobilized and he could not move it for a long time so he had to use his body. However, he has not practiced with his body a lot so he needs to keep improving. He wants to get to his ultimate goal.

When he gets ready to train, he tries to remember his reason again for this world. Is it world peace for everyone or is it something more selfish. Then he remembers about what he wanted to do

There was a time where Val was alone. His mother died in the war and his father traveled a lot so he had to take care of himself. He would read his book all day but he was always getting bullied. Val was a very nerdy and shy kid when he was younger so many people hated him for that. He was an outcast of the village, even the adults hated him. It was like he was shunned from his village, the place he was raised and he deeply loved.

It was a nice warm day as Val was sitting underneath a nice tree for shade. He was reading his book on the "Theory of Magi". Val was so fascinated on the purpose of these people. They were sent down by King Solomon in order to make someone a king. There so many stories on this that made Val wondered if they actually exist. Maybe he should have been a Magi, to make amazing Kings and be known by generations to come. Suddenly, his book was taken way from him and thrown to the ground. Val slowly looked up to see a small gang of children. He gulped as he picked up a stick from the ground. "Can you please give me my book back?" Val asked kindly but that did not work. The pack of children grinned as they picked up Val and brought him to a nearby forest. It was a dangerous forest, where the leader of the village told everyone to not go into that forest. The name was called the Red Death Forest, as there were different creatures that were very deadly.

Because Val was very weak, he was knocked out by the shock of the children. He woke up to the children having grins again but this time with weapons in their hands. They looked like surgical tools from the horror movies. They brought them closer and closer to Val. He tried to move but he was immobilized because of the steel chains around his body. He was in fear as he was struggling and thinking What should I do? Why did this happen? He was in a huge shock to not see the red eyes on the children's faces. Then they were finally going to kill him and end his life. He was hardly eight years of age here and he is going to die. Val closed his eyes to be reassured but suddenly he hears a slashing noise. He does not feel pain or agony. Maybe he already died and is now in heaven? Val finally opens his eyes to see this girl with a sword, smaller than Val, and has bodies laying around her. She looks over he shoulder to see me. "Are you alright?" Val nodded but was scared about the bodies. "Yo-you killed them?" The girl chuckled as she flipped her hair. And that was where Val fell in love.

Then the girl explained everything: about herself, the attitude with the children, and the forest. Her name was Sarah Rose and she was raised in the Coliseum as a child. She was an amazing fighter with using a sword and she knows her monsters. She explained of how there was a type of monster, Screechers, that hypnotize children for their needs. Even though he facts were gross, Val loved everything about her. She was so enthusiastic about her work and she accepts others for who they are. Luckily, the children apologized for Val but he is still thinking why that beast wanted him. But, overall, he had a fun time with Sarah. She taught him the basics to the sword and he was able to get thinner and a lot fitter. But she helped Val realized something at that point. His goal is not to make the world full of peace, it is to protect the weak and help others. To commemorate Sarah, that is his goal.

Val stops daydreaming and looks at his target. He focuses his mind and body as one. He loads up a combo of punches and then starts. He does amazing and fast combos and he is simulating a fight in his head. He is imagining him fighting the Black Hand for Sarah. He vowed to never love but he never vowed to not remember that times he has loved. As he was getting more combinations in, he was able to add kicks and elbows. He finally ends the last punch, destroying the dummy. Val sighed as he headed for the exit, deciding his goal for living.
