Garret has recently determined that the most likely culprit to the slaying of a coastal village in Reim was due to Azix. In preparation of confronting the magician, he began to improve his weapons. If things went bad, it would be difficult to fight a King Candidate.

Though he has not learned any craftsmanship for Rampaging Unicorn Horns, the rest of the material has room for improvement. Garret will replace the material that makes up the umbrella with a tougher cloth.

Fighting against an opponent who had the capability to fly away at great speeds would be difficult. Garret determined that one of the ways he could handle such a problematic situation was to chain his opponent down before the opponent had a chance to do so. Thus the chain weapon needed forging.

A chain was not something that could work in any situation. In the event that he was already behind, Garret needed something that could travel further. Knives. Just like Bahir's idea, knives could carry bombs and the like alongside them. The speed knives could travel exceeded that of most of his other attacks, and would be a great addition to his arsenal.
