Personality:Despite his past and serious look Xiang is still able to smile and tries to be kind and fair to those around him that have deserved it .He has a general air of peace surrounding him most of the time and prefers to always think the best of people but despite that he is not the most trusting individual when it comes to meeting new people, he won’t treat them differently but he’ll always have a though on the back of his mind just in case until they had proven they won’t betray him. Once someone has gained Xiang’s trust and become friends with him, they would find themselves with a friend for life and that there would be almost nothing he won’t do for them.
But despite being a generally nice young man Xiang is still a pureblooded Fannalis and like all of them he has a rather short temper and is quick to anger. When angered by strangers that are not that bad or people he is close to, he tends to just swat them upside the head, punch them lightly in the shoulder or just kick them in the shins and then proceed to smile sickeningly polite and hurl insults at them. His temper truly show when he is faced with people that rub him the wrong way and he really dislikes, his face twists in to a snarl and he is more likely resort to violence and lash out at them. Slavers are entirely different case because at their sight he struggles not go into mindless rage until he can confront them, when in combat with someone working with or is a slaver Xiang goes in to somewhat controlled rage since can distinguish friend from foe but he won’t stop until his enemies are dead.
Likes:Travelling-Xiang greatly enjoys travelling and exploring new places since it brings him the same sense of freedom he experienced for the first time after escaping from his tormentors.
Felines- He has a strange fascination and love for all felines from Tigers to small cats, because of that he tends to try and befriend them when he encounters one even though they all seem to have an unnatural fear of him.
Battle- While he doesn’t actively seek it out, like all Fannalis Xiang enjoys the trill of battle and proving himself against strong opponents.
Dislikes:Slavery-Because he used to be a slave, Slavery is the thing he hates the most and by extension the people who practice and endorse it.
Canines-While he doesn’t hate them he is also not too fond of them due to being attacked by one when he was very young, strangely enough dogs seem to love him.
Aspirations: It was after escaping slavery and being filled with the exhilarated feeling of freedom that Xiang decided that he was going to free other slaves so that they could also experience that same feeling. As he grew so did his goal and soon it evolved from freeing slaves to abolishing slavery as a whole throughout the world. And while he wasn’t sure how he was going to achieve it, he decided to begin with searching and removing illegal slavers camps and merchants, while freeing as many slaves as he could. He is almost fanatical in his quest to achieve his goal.
Phobias/fears: Xiang has an irrational fear of being restrained with chains or being placed in a cage. Those fears came to be, thanks to being tied with chains and put in a small cage for days until he was finally bought, when he was first captured into slavery. If one of the two things happens Xian usually reacts by first going in to a minor panic attack followed by anger that soon turns into uncontrollable rage.

Appearance: Xiang is a tall young man who has tan skin as a result from all his travelling. He has an athletic body built for both speed and power. His hair is crimson in color and reaches his ears, his eyes like most Fannalis are also red. Xiang usually wears a tunic with a dark-colored sash over his left shoulder and brown travelling cloak over it, due to being almost always on the move the cloak appears to be somewhat tattered. He also likes to wrap his Guandao with cloth and he usually carries it on his back. Despite his straight posture and somewhat serious look Xiang still has an air of tranquility around him but that changes when angered, first his eyes sharpen and his stance become more relaxed while his expression slowly changes into a scowl or a snarl.

Special Traits:History: Xiang was born to two Fanalis mercenaries who had settled in a village on the border of the Kou Empire. They were loving parents and took great care of him but sadly that was not meant to be. He was three when slavers came and raided their village. His parents tried to fight them off but they were forced to surrender when a slaver took him hostage. His parents were killed on the spot while he was tightly restrained with chains and placed in a small cage. Days had past with him being locked in the cage and receiving only the minimum water and food needed for his survival.
He was finally released from the cage once he was bought by a wealthy merchant but the improvement was minimal since he was released only in a bigger cage filled with other Fanalis. It didn’t take long for Xiang to be taken under the wing of the oldest slave there, an old Fanalis with greying hair named Fong. It was Fong that taught Xiang how to read and wright, he was also the one who taught him how to fight. When Xiang had asked once why exactly he was being trained, Fong told him about their owner’s grand ambition to make his very own Fanalis corps or at least that was the part that Xiang understood at the time. Fong also liked to tell him stories about what the outside world was like, it was during these stories that the desire for freedom formed in Xiang.
Years passed and Xiang had just turned eleven when he decided that he was going to escape. After consulting with Fong about it, he was greatly surprised to find that there was already a plan in motion for escaping. The only reason Xiang learned of the plan so late was that like most of slaves he was too young. He was somewhat mad at first but he accepted because it was true, after all he was the fourth oldest one among the slaves. With him already old enough and informed about the plan, the others decided it was time for the last phase of the plan to begin.
Three more months passed before it was time. The day they decided to escape was almost like a blur to Xiang. What he remembers was killing a few of the guards, someone betraying them and Fong entrusting him with his weapon before he was forced to escape the mansion alone. He ran for hours before realizing he was finally safe and stopping, the moment he did he finally realized he was free. The sheer wave of emotion he felt after realizing it was staggering, He was both feeling euphoric and crushed. It was that day that a new page of Xiang’s journey began.
The next four years were somewhat hard for Xiang, not only was he alone again and had to adapt to life on the move but he also struggled with finding jobs. Most of the time he ended doing odd jobs for the few people that didn’t mind he was a kid or the few travelling merchants that hired him for simply being a Fanalis. But thing were starting to look up, he had just turned fifteen and had hit a grow spurt making look more imposing and more sought out. Of course he encountered a new problem in the face of puberty and discovering the wonders of the opposite gender.
Xiang was seventeen when he got his first travelling companion in the face of Riri. It was during one of his slave camp raids that he encountered the blue haired giant. After joining hands they quickly took care of the camp and freed the slaves. Deciding that it would be more effective if they were together when freeing slave they started travelling together .As they got to know each other the partnership soon turned into friendship.
Time flew quickly after that and soon two year had passed since the forming of their partnership. In that time they saw and did many thing, from exploring strange caves to of course freeing slaved but sadly it had to come to an end since Riri had to return to his home ending their days of travelling together. Xiang soon found himself traveling alone again.
Role-Play Sample: Xiang was feeling scared and distraught. Someone had betrayed them and ruined the plan not only that but he also had to abandon the one he thought as a father. With tear in his eye Xiang continued running. He ran four hours until his legs finally gave out and making him fall. He was slowly rising on his feet when he saw the most beautiful scene of his short life. The sun slowly rising and bathing the plain he was on in golden light and as the rays of light shone down upon him it finally hit him that he was free. Hot tears slipped down his face once he realized that and soon laughter bubbled from inside him. And so he let that laughter loose and screamed in to the Havens “I AM FREEE!!!”
