Zadi was getting pretty friggin bored these days. He was even making up words to pass the time. Yes, he could be taking jobs, which he was about to, but that requires time and effort. Not to mention he is in danger most of the time. However, there have been a few jobs that didn’t require any dangerous activity. But mostly strokes of luck to be honest. He could help what jobs he took sometimes. Not like he would repeat any of them, right? Well, he should. Though he gets less of a reward for every time he goes back to the same requester. He doesn’t even know why!

Anyway, Zadi stumbled upon the local job board and accidentally searched for a job, as if by second nature…instinct if you will. Zadi eventually found an interesting job involving a couple of ninja from the country of Zou. Zadi needed to take them out when they got off their vessel, ship, or whate3ver you want to call it. The point it that he needed to take them out RIGHT as they showed up so that they wouldn’t cause a war between Balbadd and the Zou Empire. That wouldn’t be any fun. Zadi liked things just the way they were. However, without battle and whatnot.

All the same, Zadi had to take care of the ninjas if he wanted to get his reward. He went over to the docks and eventually found the ship that would be carrying the ninjas. He had already gotten permission to beat the living daylights out of the ninjas for crossing Balbadd’s path, so Zadi only had to do just that, beat them up so that they wouldn’t come back again! However, ninjas were masters of sneaking around and assassination. They would most likely be quick and throw things like shadow-blades, aka shuriken. I think that’s how to translate it.

Eventually, Zadi could see two shadows moving across the docks. It seems that the ninjas have come onto Balbadd’s soil, ready to cause trouble. Zadi was a bit antsy due to this being his first encounter with ninjas. Anyway, the ninjas noticed the pink kimono-wearing Zadi and probably mistook him for a liaison of sorts. The ninjas were right in front of Zadi…and Zadi…said “hi”. He didn’t know what to do. They were being a bit friendly with him. They introduced themselves and whatnot, asking for the password. Well, Zadi obviously didn’t know. The ninjas were furious. They jumped back and threw a couple of knives at Zadi who counted with his Twist spell, redirecting the projectiles away from his person.

The ninjas were quick, trying to beat up on Zadi, but Zadi wouldn’t have it! He used his Burst spell in order to hit the two of them at the same time! And it worked. The ninjas were both out cold, but just in case, since they were sneaky, Zadi used his Push spell on the two of them to officially finishing the job. Now that Zadi’s task was complete, he got his reward. Zaid was happy that he got it…for he would need it in the future to come! However, that wouldn’t be the last he’d hear of the ninjas. No, sir. Not at all~
