Axel was to leave for his next assignment which would place him in the mainlands not too far from Magnostadt. It was going to be a very long and hard. From what he remembered he knew the trip was going to be a six week trip something he thought was going to be boring and dull. Axel went to the port of Reim and waited for his boat to arrive. It took about 5 or so hours before it came and when it came it took another hour for the ship to restock and get ready to take off for its next journey.
The ship was finally ready to take off and Axel was the first person on board as he was ready to take off and go. Axel was being very impatient and would have been happier the sooner the boat took off as he wanted this 6 weeks to go by as quickly as possible. Once the boat took off Axel settled into hs room and his roommate was a very beautiful female. Apparently this was the last room available and they were the last two to buy their tickets and so they had to share the room co-ed style. The woman saw no problem with this as she was obviously comfortable with her body seeing as during the six weeks she would walk around half naked.
The time they spent together was nice however they had learned a lot about each other. Axel found out that she was a mother of 2 however the father had custody of the kids. He also found out that her name was Lucy. For the most part the two of them just played cards and ate all day. During the night they would sometimes cuddle together and sleep in the same bed because Lucy was scared of the storms that occured out on the ocean. It felt like time was speeding by as 5 of the 6 weeks were up in what seemed like 3 days. Axel and Lucy had become very close in the time they spent together.
One day in the middle of the night the boat shook really hard and almost everyone knew what it meant. The boat had reached the destination and was now docking at the port. Axel said his goodbyes to Lucy and wished her and her kids the best. He then grabbed his belongings and quickly got off the boat and started making his way to his next assignment.
