Personality: To start off Kasumi's personality, she is very much a quiet person when she's alone. Granted, so would most other people whom have nothing else to do, but even many other thoughts and opinions remain in her head as do they when she is spoken to. Granted other times she is very much so talkative, she is still very much more of a listener than a talker, as it helps her main idea of drawing a picture of the person whom she is talking to. Normally from another persons viewpoint, she could come off as a tom boy from her body language in the way she may sit, in more of a relaxed pose than a more lady like seated position. In one aspect that is what she is most of the time. She grew out of a more girly persona when she had lost her sight, though she is still just as good as she used to be, Kasumi is not much for wanting to express it normally as it's more of unneeded effort.
At other points there are times and situations in which Kasumi is a very serious and brutal person. Sure she has her calm relaxed nature, but she is very emotionally driven into what she does and does not like and gets very hot headed around those few things than anything else. Despite her lack of sight, she tends to use the other senses she has to pick up the slack of what she doesn't have. In most cases that can tend to become a bigger advantage than being able to see, as her mind is set to a calculative and very sadistic style of fighting. She enjoys very much to make someone suffer in a fight should it be a serious fight, and just making someone cry uncle in sparring is just as fun for her as well.
Likes: 1. Peacefulness: Kasumi enjoys the quiet alone time she's grown used to having over the years
2. Making Conversations: One of the ways Kasu can "see" a person, is through conversations where she can pick up her own version of what they possibly look like.
3. Fighting: Fighting is one of her only things she still enjoys doing, even without her sight she has fun in fights whether she wins or loses.
4. Nighttime: During the night, there is a sense of time where Kasumi feels she can actually see again, though she actually can't.
Dislikes: 1. Perversion: Being hit on or felt up or other perverse things being done to her by strangers are one of the few things she gets angry about.
2. Crude commentary about her blindness: The only other thing that annoys her beyond ANYTHING else is being made fun of because of it. It's more depressing than angering, but the former makes the latter rise quickly.
3. Sympathy: Getting sympathy over her blindness or the reason she became blind angers her greatly.
Aspirations: 1. Her biggest goal in her lifetime is that she is able to enjoy the most of out her life despite her disability and that she can only find something she enjoys and can do to the best of her ability.
2. Her second biggest goal is to find someone, no matter who it may be that she could say she could find enough in common with to be able to live out a normal life with them.
Phobias/fears: 1. Regaining her sight: Though as an odd a fear it may be, Kasumi fears trying to readjust to life if she ever gained her sight back, as her first impressions and all her made mental images would quickly crash her ideas.
2. Large crowds: As this isn't a visual fear, the idea of large crowds blocks being able to hear, and without sight she would become lost in a fray of people and would never know what she could end up doing or where she would end up after finding a way out.

Appearance: Kasumi is a more developed woman than which she realizes.. for obvious reasons. She first off has a slightly slender figure for her height and weight. Her hair is kept very long down to the bend of her back in length and is mostly always kept straight down as there's no reason for her to try and look better than her mind considers her to look already. Her eyes are an emerald colored green and when looking at them closer up, have a bit of a cloudy haze over them which may or may not indicate that she's blind to someone else. Her clothing choices are a little more.. revealing than someone would suggest, some choices seeming to be more of a lead on than others, but it's more of a comfort feeling to Kasumi than it is anything, so she has no care what people think.

There isn't very much to begin off Kasumi's life aside from the normalcy of infancy and the stages of toddler. Her parents however were very much the couple that were so polar opposite that they were perfect for one another. Her mother was apart of a bloodline called the Fanalis, while her father was a simple human man. Though she never knew what made them get together in the first place, she always remembered hearing her mother yelling and arguing with her father, even over the simplest of things. Even if the conversation seemed to be in ones favor, it never ended until either Kasumi entered the room or if either of them had conceded their side to the other. Either way it was as if every day was over something else that was easily avoidable, and it wasn't until Kasumi had gotten a little older that her parents had come to tell her the reason they had been arguing.
When it came time for that to happen, there had been a bit of an argument that had led to the two splitting up. Her mother had only mentioned that she was leaving to go back to her home country and had not mentioned a name nor did she take Kasumi with her. With the half Fanalis left with her human father, he tried his best to raise her s best he could. Though she had still taken to her mothers more girlish aspects, they had shared a few common interests that they did together was well. One of those had been a fishing trip very so often. Ecstatic to go one morning, Kasumi had raced toward the docking area and would pause to wait for her father to catch up to her before she would take off once again to a checkpoint for lack of a better term.
When she had gotten close enough to the dock, she held a bit of patience as they got a boat renal and was cleared to go to the docks just as another family had gotten out and cleared off. The little red head excitedly ran toward the dock and her giggling pushed away the warning calls from the rental clerk and her father. She darted onto the dock and toward the boat they always got when they came to fish, when she slipped on a wet section of the boat, probably from the last group before them, when she slipped head first into the side of a boat. A loud metal thud rang out before it another cracking thud of the back of her head had hit the dock before falling into the water like a led brick. Several people, her father included ran to the dock and dove in, fishing around for the girl until they found her and brought her up, giving her CPR until she had come to being able to breathe on her own and was taken to a hospital.
When she had come to, she began to freak out about not being able to see. it took her a long time to be able to adjust to the fact she couldn't see, and even longer when she was told that she would never regain her sight due to the damage that was done to her brain. Rather than pushing her into a depression, Kasumi grew an urge to want to learn things she didn't know how to do when she could see. She didn't want her blindness to become this thing that held her back from doing anything and everything she had loved to do. First off she wanted to know how to read and write in braile as well as how to fight. Though it had taken some time to try and teach her to read and write, her father had come to find someone willing to teach Kasumi martial arts and small weapon usages so that she could defend herself and to use what she had to her advantage and overcome her loss of sight. After some years, and much to her fathers dismay she decided to start roaming around and exploring the world in her new image of life so that she could learn to develop what would be like for once.
Role-Play Sample: A hefty sum of thick, gray clods clumped together and blocked out the sun, leaving the sun away from being seen by anyone. A small girl sat on a bench, her feet kicking back and forth while one hand sat on her lap and the other twirled through her crimson red hair.
"Kasssy~ I got your desert!" A voice called out. Her head turned in the direction of the voice s she smiled and pushed herself back up in her seat.
"Is it the ice cream, papa?" Her tiny voice sounded excited. He smiled and took a seat next to the girl and held out the ice cream for her.
"Yes it is. Now reach out gently, ok?" He spoke gently. She reached out and grabbed hold of the cone and took it closer to herself before leaning in to lick it, before she planted her face into it and licked.
"Oops... Sorry papa.. I made a mess again..." Her voice sounded more depressed than anything. He chuckled and wiped her face up with a napkin and set it on his lap before kissing the top of her head.
"You'll learn soon enough, it just takes time and patience is all, Kassy. Just take your time and start high then go low ok?" He sweetly spoke to her in a gentle tone, one that made her smile as she started to lick the top of the ice cream and begin to move along, enjoying her ice cream to the very last bit.
