Job Details:

The wind was surprisingly tranquil in the Tundra, a place where storms often wailed in the receiving ears of all those who sauntered through the ever-growing mountains of snow. Though clouds loomed overhead and cast an unwelcome shadow, the freezing snow glittered brightly, looking as exquisite as ever. Trees speckled the landscaped, their boughs carrying the weight of the over-piling sleet and hanging icicles. The mountain in the distance stood proudly, allowing their majestic stance to noticed even by the farthest individual. Nothing disturbed the serene terrain, save for a lone feminine figure, clad in blue, that marched through the white frozen crystals with a sword strapped to her hip.

The girl was appealing in her own rights, and to humans and Fanalis', she could be considered a  divine giant, but her race, the Imuchakks, was not known for their outward appearance in regards to how they ranked in wooing another. No, her race was famous for their height, which made them tower over everyone else, their resistance to harsh environments, their unbeatable strength, and their overwhelming warrior spirit. However, there weren't that many Imuchakks.

The young warrior had been given the task of hunting since her tribe was low on food. She wasn't the only one, but she was the first to volunteer and venture out into the wilderness. Her tribe was small, yet her whole family, who acted like an organization, lived in it. The organization her family claimed was the Sapphire Templar. They protected anyone who needed protection, and as one of the members, the young girl had an obligation to fulfill and expectations to meet. Her name was Vavantine, and in the Sapphire Templar, she was known as the Lotus Knight.

Vavantine was alert to her surroundings, the blue eyes skirting from left to right for any sign of movement. She wondered how long she had been gone, wondered if her tribe had lost hope in her. Subsequently, a howl interrupted the silence from the north, jolting Vavantine into action as she ran in the direction of the disturbance. Upon her arrival, she gazed upon a pair of white wolves that stood about .5 meters when on all four legs. They looked at the Imuchakk and snarled, baring their fangs at her and crouched slightly on their front paws. Vavantine unsheathed her blade, Silver Lament, and prepared to fight.

Their lips curling, their fur bristled, their eyes piercing, the wolves lunged at the awaiting Imuchakk. One circled around while the other bravely attacked with its bite. Vavantine swung her blade in a Downward Strike, slicing the creature's face, but before she could attack again, the other wolf took the opportunity to bite into her leg. She cringed as it latched on, not wanting to remove its fangs from its prey, but the female brought her fist down onto the wolf's head. There was a sickening crunching sound that sounded before the beast's jaws went slack and its limp form fell into the powdery ground, sending flurries flying in the air.

The other wolf had just gotten up to witness the death of its fellow species. It snarled as it pounced, its mouth filled with saliva. However, Vavantine moved her sword in a Diagonal Strike, slashing the wolf's throat. Immediately afterward, a Horizontal Strike also slashed at the animal's throat, deepening the existing wound. It followed its brother to death as it slumped to the ground.

Vavantine exhaled sharply and cleaned her sword by using the snow that rested beneath her feet. She sheathed her sword, picked up the carcasses, then limped her way back to her tribe where they would clean the animals and prepare them in a meal.
