Encounter with thieves [Skill Training]

After completing two coliseum matches Merrze thought it would be good for to know a variety of  attacks incase certain moves aren't that useful on her opponents. Before she was going to train though she wanted to go out on the town. She hadn't really explored the actually city part of Reim since she has been here. She thought that Reim was a very nice place to be, most of the people seemed nice and slavery was outlawed which was a good thing in her opinion. As she walked around she noticed vendors selling all sorts of things. She walked over to a nearby vendor and bought some food. It seemed to be some sort of meat that she'd never had before but it tasted alright. She wondered if she should settle her, she'd done a lot of things in Reim, she'd been staying at an inn for the time she's been here but she wished she had a more friendly place to stay while she was living in Reim. She just gave a slight shrug and just continued walking around looking at all of the buildings that she passed by. As she was walking by she heard a ruckus being made around the corner. When she turned the corner she noticed a group of thieves robbing a young man. Merrze rushed forward and said to the thieves. "Hey, your about to get an ass-kicking." There were four of them but Merrze could probably hold them off. One of them rushed at her and she quickly punched him in the gut when he got close, he crumbled the ground. She looked at him and said. "Was that all you had Mr.Thief." She then focused her attention on the other 3 guys. One of them started thrusting his blade at her but Merrze dodged most of the hits with ease, she'd fought weak people before but this was ridiculous. She used breaking force on him putting him to sleep in a matter of seconds. Another one of the thieves pulled out a heavy axe and started to swing it at her. She could barely avoid his swings, for such a heavy weapon the man swung it very quickly and  with the ease. She pulled out her blade and used a Curving parry on the axe causing it to curve into the ground. His blade was stuck in the ground so he'd have to pull it out if he wanted to use it. She gave a slight smirk and gave three intersecting cuts on the theifs chest and punched him in the chest. The attack stopped him in his tracks and he collapsed. "Hmmm. that doesn't feel right for some reason." She looked at the last guy and went to attack him when the bandit who she took out first stabbed her in her side, it barely went in but it was enough to make Merrze mad. She stood him up and gave him three intersecting cuts then elbowed him in the chest. During the attack she said. "Cross Attack, yeah this has a nice feel to it alright." She then turned to the other guy hat was left and noticed that he had started to run in the other direction. She chased after him. She wasn't going to let him get away with the crim her just tried to commit.

Merrze pursued the man down the streets, he was very quick but Merrze was of course faster. She had to run at a fast enough pace so she could maintain distance while also being able to keep an eye on him so that he doesn't get away from her. She wondered where he was going but it was most likely some sort of hideout for his fellow thieves or something along those lines she believed.  The streets were littered with objects as the man knocked over objects so he could lose Merrze but that wasn't going to work on Merrze. She leaped over most of the obstacles but it was starting to get very annoying at this point, she just wanted to find where this man was leading her to and then take him out. Still this was possibly one of the most tedious things that she had ever done. The insistent running had finally started to get on her nerves. She started moving faster and was gaining on the man in a matter of no time. He started to run even faster but it was going to be futile in the end, there was no way he was going to out run Merrze. The man had finally stopped and she had got a hold of him. She looked around and noticed that they were at some sort of abandoned temple. She assumed this must have been their base. She gave the man a slight smirk and punched him in the face knocking him out. She walked inside the place and noticed that it smelled terrible, it smelled as if there was an entire army that hadn't bathed for an entire month, but when she looked around the place seemed kind of empty. She walked forward until there seemed to be three people conversing near a statue of an angel. There were two men who each held a sword in both of their hands. Then there was who she assumed was their leader, he was a huge muscular man who's hands were probably big enough to crush Merrze's head. She had thought it would be a god idea to take out these guys quickly. She drew her sword and was prepared to fight, she would take out the two other guys because they didn't seem like they'd be very strong. She picked up a nearby vase and hurled it in the ground gaining the men's attention. She gestured for the men to come her way and fight. The bug man chuckled and said. "You two can handle her alright." He leaned against a column as the two men rushed at her with great speed. They were faster than she had expected as worked very well, the ran by her very quickly and slashed her multiple times. The cuts weren't very deep but if they performed enough of them then could take Merrze out eventually. This was starting to annoy her so she decided to fight back now. She was prepared for when the would next attack her.

When they got close enough Merrze grabbed one of them by the arm and slammed him into the other one. It knocked both of them down but they soon recovered. They rushed at her again but this time one used the other as a stepping stool and jumped above Merrze, she grabbed a hold of him while he was in the air and threw him away from her but when she didn't notice the other one was there and he had slashed her across the face. These men were starting to get on her nerves They were both very fast and it was hard to attack both of them at once without getting hurt herself. They bum rushed her again with great speed but she started to run letting them chase her around. She has no way of taking them both out, then an idea had struck her, if she could get them both close enough she could deal enough damage with one attack to take them out. She let them chase her around, and when she had the chance she stopped in her tracks and backflipped to get behind them. She took advantage of this and slashed their legs to try and slow them down. They were surprised by the attack but quickly turned around to try and slash her but she ducked and uppercutted the both of them. She then performed a sweeping kick knocking one of them in the other sending them both flying into a statue. She then turned around to the big guy. He didn't have any weapon so that meant he could probably produce enough damage with his body alone. She walked over to him and got into stance to fight him. He just stood there and did nothing, she rushed at him with her sword drawn and tried to slash him, he swatted her, it surprised her knocked her sword away from her. He then went to punch her but she grabbed his and threw him into the air, when he came falling down he attempted to punch her, she tried to block but it was futile and the attack landed. She went to kick him but he blocked. She leaped into the air and tried to perform another kick but this time the kick had landed and hit him square in the jaw. When she landed her tried to grab her but she rolled out of the way and punched him in the side. He responded quickly and had backhanded her into the nearby statue. She quickly recovered after the blow but it hurt like hell. He threw a pot at her but she rolled out of the way then rushed towards him. He performed two giant swings with a pot that was still there. She dodged both of the attacks but they made her lose her footing, she fell to the ground but before she landed on her hands, in the quick moment of falling she used the moment and put her head on the ground and started to spin on it. She outstretched her legs and landed a series of kicks on him. Those kicks most have been the last for him, because when she was done and got back on her feet he fell down in intense pain. She liked that attack that she just performed and thought that she was going to use it more often. She didn't know how but, taking down these thieves helped her come up with the skills that she needed.
