How long said security lasts, however, is a different story. Secrets leak, controversies expose, and the wool is pulled out from your eyes whether you want it or not. In the French town of Kadic, there a certain few individuals who know a simple truth. Most are mere students of the prestigious academy, who live their day to day lives in knowledge of but one simple truth of the world.

X.A.N.A. was in tatters, barely maintaining sentience, but has held on and now continues to spread it’s darkness into the hearts of others. Now it's smarter, unpredictable, dangerous, and demonstrably ruthless. It seems to treat humanity as a threat to be destroyed and humans as things to be toyed with.
But the real prize? The real prize is Lyoko. For Lyoko is the only catalyst through which XANA can interact with the material world. Why does this work the way it does? Can it be used? For some spending concern on a seemingly dormant AI is a waste, time better spent testing the limits of the virtual world. Little do they know what's in there.
