Name: Kinala Mindras
Tier: D-Tier
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Pansexual
Age + Birthdate: 14, born on April 17th
Nationality: Wanderer
Race: Human
Specialization: Intelligence: Life
Personality: Kinala is a pretty average person, not very standoffish or headstrong but very passionate. Her attitude is highly outwardly centered, believing that as long as other people are happy she is happy. Kinala is very passionate about her work, words, and actions. Her common way of thinking is that everything someone says should be truthful, and they should mean it with all their heart. That being said, many might confuse Kinala's overzealous belief and passion with being overly prideful. While Kinala has had her moments of believing herself to be the better person for the job she is in no way prideful. Instead she prefers to see herself as a hard worker who wants to do what she can to help out. If this means booting other people out of the way to take on a job then so be it. This should not be mistaken for an uncaring feel towards others, rather that Kinala does what she does because she feels that it is in the best interest of others. While she may sometimes be wrong, normally her actions do benefit others. Kinala also has a deep set need to protect her friends, often trying to make it so that they won't even need to enter the battle. Her strategies aren't nearly as straightforward as some might want them to be, Kinala often takes alternate paths to reach the common goal. Her wanton desire for new challenges doesn't cloud her mind, Kinala always knows when she needs to listen to others.
Likes:
The Ocean- Kinala was raised in a harbor town, always hoping on ships to learn what she could she quickly developed a taste for the sea.
A Good Friendship- Kinala enjoys being able to come back and enjoy the company of a friend, wherever her journeys may take her.
Dislikes:
The Upper Class- Rich people, or at least the one's who believe themselves to be better than the common man, simply serve to tick Kinala off.
Lazy People- Kinala's mother always taught her that people who didn't work hard were lazy, and those who are lazy don't deserve her time of day.
Phobias: Kinala's single, greatest fear is that of disease and pestilence. She has seen the ravages of plagues before and it has always remained in hr mind as the single most terrifying thing that she can come up with. To see so many people in pain, in agony that cannot be broken unless they die or are somehow cured, it is not a sight that Kinala can withstand. She can stand one or two people who are ill, but after that she simply cannot be in the same area as those with illness in their body.
Aspirations: Kinala's true motivation lies in her determination to become a legend, and as such use her power to better the world. Her talents with magic have always been a gift, and as such she wishes to repay the rest of the world by sharing her talents in a way that truly helps people. By becoming more powerful and more well known across the lands she hopes to use her power to influence the world as a whole and use that influence to change how the lands are run in a better way.
Face-Claim: Okami Amaterasu: Okami
Weight: 102 Lbs.
Hair Color: White
Eye Color: Red
Height: 4' 11"
Rukh Alignment: White
Special Traits: Kinala has an odd body formation of a tail and a pair of ears reminiscent of a wolf. However, her tail appears to have a strange look to it, almost as if it was painted. She also has strange markings on her body, hand painted by herself for some reasons she chooses not to share.
Appearance: Kinala is a tiny girl of relatively little importance overall based on her appearance. Most people wouldn't even give her a second look if it weren't for her extra appendages. She's beautiful in her own way, but not in a way that would draw anyone to her. No, she's a rather quiet in a way, never really bothering anyone unless she has need to. She commonly wears traditional clothing from Zou seeing as how that was where her family came from, and beyond that she doesn't really have any clothes to speak of. She mostly has a relaxed stance no matter what she's doing, even in combat she doesn't really bother getting tense or falling into a true fighting stance.
History: Kinala was born fourteen years ago to an average family from a small fishing village on the coast of the Zou Empire. They were a happy family, nothing truly interesting about them for the most part. And why would there be? A single mother raising two children was nothing to warrant investigation, and they lived a quiet life. They didn't garner any attention, to the world they were simply another family of hardworking fisherman who earned their keep just like everyone else in the village. Kinala was raised well, she was taught about the world as the people of Zou knew it, and she longed to see more of it one day if she was able. The lands on the outside of her borders always filled her with wanderlust as she thought about what kind of people might live there and what their customs and culture might be like. Of course, in a land where conquest and military supremacy are at the height of social requirement, things didn't stay peaceful for long as was to be expected. Being three years older than Kinala, her older brother Dao was set to be conscripted into the military soon after Kinala's fourteenth birthday. Kinala's mother had never wanted the life of pain and conquest for her children, it was not somethings she would allow to tear her family in two. And so when the military came for Dao the Mindras family was long gone into the night, hurrying for the safety of other lands. The life on the run was how Kinala was raised, and with the eventual separation from her family and her discovery of her latent control over magoi she soon began to realize that she could find her own path in life. As a wanderer she started her journey, to see many new lands and strange new places that would offer her greater insight as to how she could change the world in her own way. Her initial journeys took her far as she traveled across the lands, meeting many new people and making quite a few friends along the way. Of course, one land was always her favorite. Reim always had a special place in her heart, and thus her true journey started there.
Role-Play Sample:
- From not too long Ago:
- Kinala felt her fists collide with the sand wall that Taihele had put up at the last second, just as she had hoped he would. Taihele had divided his concentration now, and that was just what Kinala needed for him to do. Speed was not the only inherent factor in this fight, it was cunning and strategy, both of which Kinala had finally been able to develop. She normally fought recklessly because she was able to withstand nearly any blow or just dodge it, but now that she was fighting someone like Taihele she knew she needed to use her brains for once. She hadn't needed to fight like this since the Hunger Games, and back then she had been a dragon slayer and a lot less powerful. Not to mention she had been fighting people on her level, not guildmasters, but she had won then so she was sure she could do it again. Back then the key had been hiding and using her enhanced senses to defeat her foes, but now her fighting revolved around using her rubber body to trick others. And with Taihele it had become a lot easier. He was not very far behind the wall, an arms length away at least and Kinala knew she had him. As her strikes landed she abruptly stopped and grabbed into the sand before swinging herself over the sand wall using the elasticity from her punch. She appeared quickly and abruptly, there was no way Taihele could have seen her coming. And as soon as she vaulted over the wall she launched her powerhouse technique right at Taihele's body. Her fist was faster than ever before and at that distance there was no way he could even see it before it hit him. As her fist flew it was engulfed in a column of flame from the friction that it accumulated just by flying through the air. "Gomu Gomu no..." She paused until the strike landed, "RED HAWK!" The punch would leave Taihele in a heap no doubt after causing third degree burns to wherever it hit as well as breaking bones. That was the chance she had been waiting for, the chance of a lifetime.
