An open blue sky and blazing orange sun hung over Heliohapt baking the capital in heat. Thankfully dry winds blew through the city from the west and cooled the day off from being overwhelming. All in all, the weather was rather nice considering the location of the bustling city amidst desert sands and barren rocky badlands. It was a wonder to Yakuroro how they managed to survive in such a place for so long without magicians or magic tools to supply them with water. This was just one of the many ways Yakuroro was impressed with wonder by the Heliohaptan people.
The researcher Imuchakk strolled down dirt road with a cheerful smile upon his face as his eyes took in the sights. There was a small piece of parchment in his hands with a tiny charcoal tipped pencil dashing across the page. He was drawing notable architecture around the city that seemed particularly unique or interesting. The small orange lizard Akatetsu followed behind him curiously watching the intent gaze of its adoptive father as he scribbled away at his page. "Gyao~" He growled happily and waved at a passing couple whom seemed shocked and a little scared at the bone skulled beast's gestures.
Yakuroro chuckled and looked from his drawing long enough to pat the small lizard upon its boney head with a smile, "Careful not to scare people Tetsu, but good job being friendly!" Together the two wandered the city all afternoon. When the sun began to settle into dusk and the sky turned a reddish hue, the Imuchakk's walking had carried him into view of a rather interesting sight...
