Description: A golem settlement 10m long and 10m tall created from the Crucible artefact, Zaritan serves as the main terminal for the Aegis network. She resembles a draconic turtle with features from various sea-creatures. Resting in Tisifun under the khalifah Battutah’s care, she informs every Aegis who travel between the Amakh and Isidora regions via the Rostam road or the Trade Sea. She also hosts the Tisifuni merchant’s guild atop her back, where Battutah gathers all of Amakh’s leading merchants and craftsmen in monthly conferences. In them, they agree whether the Aegis trade-routes should change or remain, with Battutah being the sole person with access to the Crucible core - and thus able to modify them.
