A somber night this was. Yet, why? Ah well, you see, tis not a celebratory night for the men and women who wished for the status quo of our beloved nation of Reim, but rather, a mournful one, for their grip over this nation was to soon wane. Upon staring up at our starry night sky, one may notice the beauty that we people of this world have been so generously graced. It is splendid, truly. If we continue on our campaign of rejection of fate, where may we be led?

Perhaps to the same exact fate that befell the past worlds before us. Just where does that thousands year old war of light and dark end? Is everyone that scared to confront these shadows of our world with such cruelty as I? I hold no sympathy for those who have disgraced us time and time once more, those who lead us to ruin, with no remorse. I cannot forgive them, nor can I let them continue on. I and others must form a haven of light, a unified nation, under fate, to oppose them. It is our only choice to survive.

A bright light was to have begun to rise up from the dark depths of the night, ushering forth the dawn of the new day, bringing warmth to the land. Under the veil of his long light but luxurious red coat, his jewelry was to remain concealed, so he could try to keep low profile. However, with the plentiful of people who knew of the man, that was to be a bit harder than just donning a long coat. In his carriage was to be him, his wife, Aureus, and one other person, well, the dearest person to his heart, Nerilla. It was to be them who were to be his bodyguards, Aureus and Nerilla.

It was of no real purpose to even bring them, for the very fact that this was a secret meeting, but even so, better to stay vigilant of danger, for Angelus was now a serious enemy of a particular faction now, one who wished for him dead. Angelus was not very equipt coming to this meeting, cause having weapons at a meeting was not quite cordial, but did have his equipment with his bodyguards so he could be prepared. However, that was not what was of major concern this bright sunlit morning. Rather, his concerns lay with the actual meeting itself.

Anyhow, they had now come to their destination, the Milian Amphitheater, on Albus Grove Street. It was quite a famous and historical place. Its namesake came from that of the very famous second Emperor of Reim, Milian Augustus, son of the first Emperor, the very man who forged the Reim Empire. It was a widely famous place for the name alone. It was to now be where the historical first official meeting of the Angelist party was to be held.

An hour before the others were to have come, Angelus was to take his first step out of his carriage, gracing the few others who may have come earlier than him and his entourage. In his luxurious pastel red coat, he were to step forth, meanwhile he wove his hand through his billowing snow white hair. Angelus' grim eyes were to fixate on the few men and women who had come earlier than him. It was then that Angelus was to try and soften his gaze, so he did not scare the fellow politicians. Angelus rose his hand up to the few, greeting them.

Angelus: "I thank everyone here for coming this morning, so early too. I hope to have us a great and productive meeting. I do have much to share and discuss this morning, so I hope every person here will have a good grip on their seats, and had a fair breakfast. It is necessary for us to gather here this fateful morning, so we may lead us and this beautiful nation To The Light. Let us now start the prep for the meeting, shall we? Nerilla, may you hand me the meeting papers?"

Behind him stood Aureus, the famed Colossus, Nerilla, the sniper, and the stunning noble daughter of the late Cornelius, wife of Angelus. Rumors were that now that Angelus had married a woman who was part of the gens Senati, that he was to run for a position, to further gain a grip on the political landscape of Reim. It could not be closer to the truth, for that was exactly what Angelus planned to do now that he was within one of the gens Senati families.

However, sir Angelus was not the only one who the politicians expected to run for office. Sabina, the daughter of the widely famous late Senator, was to run too, and for the very office that her father once had. It was to take this nation by storm. It would likely be by the following morning that a vast majority of the capital were to learn of the formation of the major Angelist party that consisted of a long list of famous names.

Angelus laid his back on the chair he sat, raising his right leg on his left knee, while his chin rested on his right palm. Before Angelus and his entourage would lie an open seating where the politicians were to come and take their seats. It was a close and small oval meeting room, a particular theater for meetings or high profile viewings, with a main seat within the center with a podium for others to step up and talk out loud to the crowd. During the hour wait, plenty more faces were to show, and once every figure had taken their seats, Angelus was to begin the first official meeting of the Angelist party. May this nation be led To The Light.

Angelus: "I welcome the brave men and women here this morning to the first official Angelist party meeting! I thank every one of you for coming, for we have plenty to discuss! Our nation cannot fall, and for that reason, we, the men and women who the burdens of this nation fall to, must unite to bring upon the light to our people! It is we who must reform this nation, bring power to the people, and uproot the corruption that plagues this beautiful land!"

Fervently said the chairman, before pausing for a brief moment, then resuming.

Angelus: "So, my friends, before I delve into what we hope to do for the nation, I welcome short questions or brief introductions! However, do keep these brief, for we will discuss far more together once we share our outline for bringing forth the light unto this nation we deeply love!"

It is then, that Angelus was to open the floor, but only to those who wished to share who they were, why they came, etc. However, those who posed short questions were open to the floor too. Angelus' coat were to lie on his chair, meanwhile, his jewelry and fine toga garbs dressed his tan muscled body. Angelus' white hair flowed so beautifully, but his face was that of someone who seemed rather stoic, but prepared to face adversity.

A congregation beneath the moon bid it be a night to reveal all that is obscured by the blinding light of day. Right after the sanctity of prayer was the Aleph to attend. Her natural concern brought her before the amphitheater much before others were to grace it with their presence.

“Do you believe attending is wise?” says her brother; a man with close resemblance to herself. His stark white hair tied away from his face and a stoic rubied gaze set upon her. “This can be seen as treason, Diana.”

“I know,” she replies. “But we are here to observe and wager if the gamble is worth the risk. Nothing more.”

Preoccupied between themselves, they stuck to the shade beneath the stone shelter that hung over the entrance, held up by etched pillars — waiting. All until the rabble of a driven carriage arrives before the steps. Out of it, a boy that Diana had not seen in some time. His fame had grown and his dreams were just a few steps from realization. With him were others known for various qualities.

Apollo snorts and leans close to her, whispering into her ear.

“This man adorns himself much like your late husband. Is that what holds your interest?”

Her pale irises stab into him. If they were not among company, she swore to herself that she would have done worse to him. Such a cold, passive response left him with little consequence. Much to his hubris.

For the hour post their hosts arrival, they seated themselves among the guests within the meeting room. Never had the Corvus stepped into a political arena. What they would take was through fists and bloodshed. But through war, Diana was more learned than her ancestors.

Battles needed to be picked and calculated to the last detail. If their country was to return to a rightful order, that is what their people needed to do. All she could hope is that this plan would be their salvation.

Upon the order of introductions, she would be of the first to stand alongside her silently abiding twin:

“I am Diana and with me is my brother, Apollo. We are here to represent the Corvus as the leaders of our people," she pauses, brushing her hair behind her ear. "We are a clan of Fanalis who have planted our roots in this country for centuries. Our numbers have grown into the thousands and even larger as we welcome those plagued by the gruesome events that occurred within the capital of Heliohapt. It is in our interests to attend this discussion to gauge how our people would be able to assist this cause.”

It was to no surprise that there was a nice turnout for the angelist party. There were plenty of young politicians who wanted to change the current regime and saw promise and hope in the young man. However, there would be three that stood out of the crowd, these three were well known for their own reasons.

The First would also happen to be the oldest there. He was a large, rotund man with graying hair and beard. He was currently gorging himself as the Man spoke to the audience. He would be recognized as a notable businessman who was not a politician but was a notable member of the community and drinking friends with the more likeable senators. He was a type that was known to side with those that were portrayed well in the public eye. He would not speak as he just kept eating, his eyes looking at Angelus with a certain hunger in them. THis man was known to all as Commodus.
Commodus:

The 2nd was a man who in the center, surrounded by several of the younger senators. He was an upcoming politician who spoke solely for the people and wanted to improve the lower classes of Riem for the better. He came from a well known family that never had much power but had been around for generations. He would stand and introduce himself like the woman before him. "I am so excited to be here in the presence of so many inspiring members of Riem, all here to better imrpve the sorry state our country is in. As some of you may know, I am a fairly new senator known as Marius. It is a pleasure to finally meet some of you." He would bow before sitting back down.

Marius:

The final person would be a bit out of place compare to the first to. She was not as young as the majority nor was she a man. She was a woman who was friends with a lot of senators, young and old and as such her word held a lot of sway as people tended to trust her opinion and go to her for advice. She was seen as a great help in various ways in the recent years and was loved greatly by the people. SHe was often seen with her son but this time was only accompanied by her dutiful escorts. She would stand and announce herself like the previous, but this time directing their host. It is a pleasure to meet you at last. I have heard some great things about you from your wife my good sir. I am the lady Fulvia. While i may not have the same standing as some of the men here i would live to help in anyway possible." Like Marius she seemed passionate in her words truly eager to better the country.

Fulvia:

The others there would follow suit, repeating what Marius and fulvia had stated. They all seemed excited and eager like young puppies waiting for a treat from their master.

Notes: It is up to you how to proceed but i do want to state that FUlvia's picture shows a spear but she does not actually have one and is unarmed.

ZUZU MANSUR
As politicians and businessmen walked into Angelus’ boardroom, a woman renowned within another field entered as well. She was dressed in black and silk, drawing the attention of senators nearby, having chosen a pantsuit designed especially for this meeting. She could have chosen a dress, as other women had, but a pantsuit was new and interesting. It was the cutting-edge of fashion, of an industry she was spearheading, and Zubaidah was aware that her power in Reim was reliant on her celebrity status alone.

Indeed, she had decided that it was necessary to distance herself from her patron Flavrian, if she wanted something from this Angelus for herself. For if she wanted to negotiate with the Angelist party at all, Zubaidah could not rely upon her Senate contacts. After all, he was here to revolutionise Reiman politics, was he not? She was doubtful that the Senate would even remain integral to Reim’s framework once his vision was put to canvas. If so, then she would have to present herself distinct from those Reiman institutions, of Senate and Council.

And so, she announced herself less towards Angelus himself, and more the unknown elements within the Angelists, ‘My name is Sukhainah ibn Mansur.’ She caught sight of Fulvia entering with Flavrian, acting as though she was not aiming a knife towards his neck at every moment, ‘But I am known better under my stage-name Zubaidah.’ She locked eyes with Fulvia, smiling as if to say that she knew how to mask her intentions as well, before her smile transformed into something beautiful for the Angelist audience.

I know that many of you have attended my events and performances. Indeed, it is a pleasure to meet you all face to face. But more than that, it is my honour to be the audience for this great show.

It commenced, our forum of light, which was meant to reach for the stars, and revolutionize our great state of Reim. How may the figures unveiled upon us today decide the fate of beautiful Reim, a nation of grandeur. If the lead men and women of this land wished to have a say within where this nation was led, they must rise and stand up, rip the authority from the families that ruled us.

Angelus was but a mere commoner, one whom had not a dime to his name. However, the man could not lie idle, so the man chose to risk everything on a gamble of fate, a Coliseum match. It was there that he was able to make a name for himself. Angelus had come far, but now the time was for the nation to follow suit, to gamble on fate, to trust the light of fate.

Angelus: "It is a great pleasure to meet every one of you! I hope for us to come together, and truly revolutionize our nation! It is now we begin!"

Said the fervent white haired man, gesturing for Nerilla to hand him the first order of the historical first meeting that was to bring upon the first winds of change for this land.

Angelus: "So as to introduce who I am, for those who may not know very well, my name is Angelus, of the Spinam family. I am but a mere legion commander, but I have heard the cry from this nation for help, and I am very aware that the rest of you have as well! I am here with the lovely Nerilla, one of our finest snipers, Aureus, our famed colossus of Reim, and then, my wife, Sabina Cornelius! It will be no secret here that I am responsible for the death of two Senators! I will not pretend that I am not known over this nation twice over from the deaths of those cruel men! I have my wife, here, a witness to his atrocities! It is widely known now to countless people of this nation that there exists a sect of corrupt vile politicians!"

It was then that he paused for a brief moment, looking at the crowd of distinguished men and women. Commodus even was one who Angelus lied his eyes upon, perhaps a tad perplexed by the sheer hunger Commodus' eyes exuded. Anyhow..

Angelus: "It cannot be helped that we will have corrupt batches when our Senate is led by only those part of the gens Senati! It is pertinent to our nation that we progress onward and no longer tie our authority down to merely the gens Senati! I, Angelus, together with my dear wife, Sabina, will run for the Senate! I wish us to offer every man and woman, no matter their blood ties to the gens Senati, unto the Senate! It is our path to Senate rule, where the people can truly decide their own fates! As those here know, our nation has been ruled for the past decade by those who lack the will to change the state of Reim! It is time we challenge the corrupt class, the terrorism that hopes to fracture us, and the ones who lack the will to lead us to the light!"

Angelus paused once more, before then saying the following:

Angelus: "I welcome feedback now, but do note, those whom stand with the status quo of the Senate being closed to the gens Senati family are welcome to disagree or leave now, but I would hope every person here would believe that every person, no matter race, is born equal under fate! I beg for us to keep the discussion cordial, and to keep our discussion short, for next up on the meeting regards the holy nation called Sasan. It is pertinent we discuss their role within the Angelist party, together with one other faction within our borders. Alright ladies and gentlemen, thoughts regarding the Senate? I hope every one of you to truly be part of the cause!"

It was an offer to the gens Senati to garner further fame, but at the cost of their families years from now perhaps not being capable of being elected to what would end up eventually to be a mainly commoner bred Senate. It was to certainly garner favor with the people, and elevate the fame of the politicians that agreed with the proposed new law to open up the Senate.

Diana rises from her seat, crossing  her hands in front of her. Pale roses scan the faces of the others in attendance. For a short moment, they stop upon the so-called performer before flitting to Angelus.

If she were to test his cause, it would be here with her own words. She stared into his eyes, focusing on none  other than him. None of them mattered to her. Just the young man she had known all that time ago. There was pride to be cultivated. The question was, if it was at its prime.

And so, the spotlight would be taken:

“With the influx of crime and unlawful acts occurring within the country rising, the senate has not done as much as it could. This leaves the people to fend for themselves, furthering the commitment of such acts or forcing them to call upon the service of bounty hunters.”

Apollo begins to circle around the table, placing down copies of documents before the other members for them to review. Upon them, detailed lists of a multitude of crime accounts recorded at the hand of Corvus and receipts on bounties from local officials. Handling the crime in this country was an occupation she had assumed over the past years as a bounty hunter. Along with the others under Mars' care, she had felt the effects of injustice tenfold.

“This has spread even as far as Heliohapt at our southern borders. As the refugees come to these borders, trouble follows suit. All issues I have seen the senate fail to address nor make attempts to solve,” she explains, furthering her sear into Angelus’ gaze.  “The absence of the sole leadership of our previous Emperor has created too much indecision in our government and it causes this country to suffer.”

Diana grants a small moment of pause; waiting for Apollo to return to her side.

“I must inquire if this party of yours is up to dealing with such a task among the others that this country faces.”

Most would stay quiet as their host and the woman take turns speaking, when diana began to speak Commodus would take a great interest in the woman as he had of course heard of her before, same with the other woman that came in late. His mouth was beginning to salivate at the site of all of these fantastic prospects standing before him, all of these budding seeds that he wants to water and see blossom into mighty oaks.

Marius would stand up once again to speak, "I admire the actions you have done so far Sir Angelus but i would prefer if we try to find peaceful ways to go about change. If we bring harm to someone no matter if we are right in doing so will just bring pain to those we are trying to help and serve." He was very passionate about what he was saying but it was clear that this was the words of a young man still learning about this world.

Fulvia would abstain from speaking but she would walk up to Zub sitting uncomfortably close to the woman, "I enjoy your new outfit lady zub, it is very flattering on you" the woman would whisper so only zub could hear her. She was here for Trent but when someone she was fond of showed up she just had to talk to them.

As Diana spoke, Zubaidah would soon recognise her from Jahan's memories. That white hair, piercing gaze and voice like a general on the battlefield; she could not even pretend that it was not Jahan's wife. She understood well where he had come to such passions for this woman, but Zubaidah could also feel a twinge of jealousy pluck at her heartstrings.

Her attention was brought elsewhere when Fulvia played her usual games, however, but Zubaidah decided to lean into the woman's words rather than away. Whether she was more confident now, or simply desiring the same attention as Diana got from Jahan, Zubaidah did not shy away from Fulvia's compliments.

A finer dress than any, my dear. Perhaps I could furnish you with your own, what say you? It is a shame not to let the world see those shoulders.

As women well-versed in the art of male society, Fulvia and Zubaidah were both half-listening and half-talking, ensuring that the room did not hear or notice them. At the same time, Zubaidah was scanning the room and judging the responses from key parties. She was interesting in Marius in particular, sensing a naivety that needed to be fostered, else the Senate corrupt him as it had the rest of those politicians in the room - even her dear friend Flavrian.

She did not speak yet, however, but bided her time. There would be ample opportunity to speak, that was certain, but she needed to gauge the audience for which she was performing first.
