- "A young spirited magician, known for his power and energy to move mountains. Use the magnanimous and divine force to bring society to a better state! Some say he could go toe to toe with Solomon."
He has unruly curly hair which falls over his forehead, The heavy eyelids barely opening as he placed a sinewy arm on his eyes.
"Where was I?" asked a young girl, with a smile wide smile on her face.
" You need to cut it out, Mya." the young handsome replied, as he got up from his hammock.
"Oh! yes! Use the magnanimous and divine force to bring society to a better state, You hold the power in your hand your Majesty." Mya shrieked.
"You know, I appreciate the homage but it isn't necessary, Thank you my Jack. Without you, My supervision shall be incomplete. Now, hop off before I shun you with my magic." Ghost replied as he laughed.
The day began a little late as compared to the sun.
"Where is Typhon, I want him to accompany me on my magic practice," exclaimed Ghost. He wore his new dark robe with orbs of golden blue specks and a white velvety touch.
"I think he has my wand too." he chuckled.
A squeaky little thing not more than the size of a baby rabbit came tumbling. He had a pinkish-lined stomach and the unique thing that separates him was his three heads! He was nothing else but a baby Hydra- named Typhon.
He held a wand in his claw that he was rotating and churning.
"Can I be a magician with it too Ghost?" Typhon asked. As he twisted the wooden stick.
And with a twist, the wooden stick broke in two.
"Typhon! It was the only one I have! You know It's hard to go to the black market store and bring one." Ghost snapped.
" Didn't I tell you, not to put all your eggs in one basket? I would always want the best for you. And it doesn't include giving the most precious thing you have to a baby dragon." A girl exclaimed from behind.
She had a stern face, and cross eyebrows and looked pretty serious and mature for her age.
"Moka, my Ace and my right hand, I respect your concerns but we are good, now, please settle." He said as he raised both of his eyebrows and clicked his lips.
Moka wasn't convinced. She knew the Hydra wasn't trustworthy after all how can she trust another specie of the from the Tower Of Power?
" That calls off the trip to the witch hunt and is worth a voyage to the black market." Ghost said in a low voice.
"I am sorry Ghost, You know I don't mean it. It is just too big for my wee little claws and I was just playing with it." Typhon replied. He was embarrassed, his head low from resentment.
"Don't fret, Can you carry my weight? are your wings strong enough for me huh?" Ghost replied as he jumped by Typhon. They roughhoused, laughed, and tickled each other.
"On your back here I come!" Ghost ran and tried to jumped on his back.
The scaled-back that extended to the tail, was low and sharp because he was just a baby, not any human would ride a hydra even if he was a magician. Moka's apprehensions were justified.
They set off to the far-off lands. The journey started when the sun was up on the top, the mountains glorified as the sun shone on their tops.
The mesmerizing sky amalgamated in the hues of purple, blue, and yellow. They both flew through it, shearing the horizon.
"Towards the Valley of the Dark beach." pointed Ghost. As The hydra was on Ghost back and not the other way around.
He tumbled on his back and cheered, the wind in his hair. They fluttered as Ghost looked up in the sky.
" I am getting a new wand! Woohoo!" Ghost yelled. A big grin on his face.
As they descend to the top of the mountain, where the shacks of the rumble were falling off.
"Are you sure this is the right place?" Typhon asked as he got off.
The mountain top was murky and wet, with a slope down that ended up in a lake, The lake was vast and peaceful but shallow. The corresponding waterfall also emptied in there. The whole scene was cinematic as the sun shone and the water sparkled. The rainbow effect in the reflective water made an awe-inspiring sight. Only the dark mountains were throwing it off a little.
Ghost entered the cave that opened into nothing but darkness.
"Oh! My, I have never been to any black mrket before, Ghost this will be an adventure of a lifetime. I am sorry I broke your stick but isn't the view worth it." Hydra replied as he blew some smoke off his mouth.
He dropped his head, and the smile on his face quickly vanished. He rubbed his hands in anguish.
"I know, Hey listen." Ghost reached and patted his back.
"magicians, won't like me hanging out with you, and I might never qualify for the magic wand again. So can you please sit here while I bring in the wand?" As the last words escaped his mouth. His heart sank into despair. The guilt rose in his throat for keeping a baby dragon away from some joy, just because of his existence.
Hydra's eyes turned teary as he shook his head, and sat on a rock. Ghost said this as a way to get him to stay put. After all his miscellaneous is a hand full.
Ghost stepped in further and grabbed the flambeau he saw. The Darkness grew and he could see nothing else. His mind racing with thoughts, this place was supposed to be bright he thought. It is a happy place.
Time went by, hours and then hours and there was no sign of him.
Back at camp, the knights of the Ghost rushed to and fro in escalated panic.
"I told you! That Hydra is not trustworthy! He has now eaten him! We have lost him! Do you hear me!" Moka yelled into Mya's face. Her face blowing in anger, hardly has anyone seen her lips curl into a smile.
"Stop it! You are overreacting! We have known him for so long! You need to break the cycle! He is just a dragon, he won't harm his Majesty!" Mya replied. She grabbed on an archery pack, a chain, and a dagger. All that she has learned to use at the ripe age of only ten.
" Come on! My kindred spirit we need to get there" Moka yelled, harnassing a a clearly not interested Mya.
Part: 02
The sun was halfway up, as both the girls got there. With the evening approaching and worry escalating. They both hopped off the tired, drenched horse that they stole. Typhon jumped to his feet in his pensive thoughts.
"I am so glad you knights came! I have circled the whole mountain thrice, I don't see a trace of him" He exclaimed.
Mya patted his back and calmed him down.
" Why didn't you go in! We need to go in, There is no need to be scared now, we are here." Mya replied.
"Uh... Duh... He is a hydra, magicians are not supposed to hang out with them, that's why he didn't go in. He isn't scared and that's the wisest thing he has ever done in his lifetime." Moka rolled her eyes.
Mya was frustrated as she grabbed Moka's hand and dragged Hydra in with her.
The place was so dark and pitch black. Moka and Mya held hands as they moved further. Silence fell in the entire place and only their footsteps echoed. Hydra quickly realizes his need blew fire out of his mouth and there it was nice and lit. The whole cave has markings of a double-headed ax.
"I don't think magicians live like this" Mya said as her breath quivered with fear.
A few steps further in, the way narrowed down, and the soil below was considerably sandy. The footstep marks faded as quickly as they were made. They saw a rusty old alley leading somewhere.
This was the most dangerous adventure they would ever be on.
And then was one way after the other, each way leading to multiple other destinations. Walls, the ground covered with those marks.
"Oh! my gracious Solomon! we are lost! and I won't die here." exclaimed Mya.
"Shoot! Shoot! I think I know where we are! This is a labyrinth! And not just an ordinary labyrinth, It's a Minotaur's Hub!" Moka replied.
" It all falls in place, we are in the wrong location! The double-headed ax marks are nothing but..." Mya's jaw dropped.
They saw a fierce, grown half-bull, half-man. The bull face fuming with anger huffing. The Minotaur rotated his Labrys and snuck it at them.
"Duck!" Exclaimed all of them.
And the flying ax flew over their heads on the wall.
" There is...! Ghost!! in his other hand!" shouted Mya struggling for air.
Ghost has passed out, not able to perform the best magic tricks without his wand, and then the fright of the hydra.
Hydra blew the maximum fire out of him he could, The minotaur only flinched, throwing Ghost out of his hands. His little body came down at their feet.
"Typhon! coming quickly!" Moka exclaimed.
Mya breathed some air in him and gave him a few sips of water in a hurry. The minotaur growled looking at his hand, which had hardly got a burn.
" We don't know the way back!" Mya cried. Ghost finally got up in a bit, his frail body resting by the hydra.
Everyone's mind is racing and overflowing that their end is near.
" Follow me!" Hydra said. He quickly turned around and observed that the only thing on the soil that could have tracked them out of the maze, was his tail prints.
They ran as fast as they could Ghost sat on a rock by Typhon's side. The whole ground vibrated as they could sense the Minotaur following them.
" He didn't kill me because he needs to know my powers." Ghost said out of breath shaking.
They were finally out. As soon as they stepped outside, The Minotaur grabbed the magician. His body has gone considerably weak. Nor was his brog activated.
Hydra rose to his feet and jumped in circles across the Minotaur, constantly blowing flames.
" Typhon! He has thrown Ghost under the water!" Mya shouted. They found a rock and hid behind it, and sprayed the minotaur with rocks they found.
The minotaur was furious and hurt, he didn't know where to throw his ax, as hydra kept going in circles.
"Cover me!" Said the Hydra.
Both Mya and Moka did what they could, Moka threw her scythe and Mya's dagger were thrown at him with little to no effect.
Hydra equipped a quick motion and took Moka and Mya on his back and jump down swiftly to the lake.
The minotaur was irked, he couldn't fly, he rumbled and screamed, but nothing could be done.
Ghost, struggled for air, his hands whipping to get to the surface, with the body so drained. Hydra was perplexed. He swim straight up the lake and then down, deep into the water. His eyes searching for his friend. He finally grabbed his weightless body, struggling to push past the water flow and bring him to the surface. Several tries and he was also being pulled in.
"One last push!" he said to himself,
And with a gush of water, he brought the magician to the surface. Both Mya and Moka helped them get water out of their system.
" I am so sorry, for the trouble Hydra." Ghost smiled as his eyes were still closed and he joked.
"We sent a pigeon to the magicians at the black market, to ask about you. This is definitely the wrong address." Mya said.
" I hope everyone is alright." Hydra inquires
Meanwhile, an owl drops a scroll to the magician. He read it in a quirky voice.
" I came to know you needed a wand and the reason for one is because a baby DRAGON broke one, Aren't they the cutest things, I am still reminiscent of the time we didn't interact with them, I had to relocate because of a deal with the minotaur, A pledge that he will never step a foot in the tribes and I gave my place to him. I should have told you about it to the king of the your domain. Take care, I hope you too are well" The letter read.
Ghost examined his new wand.
" This calls for a group hug!" He extended his arms. As Mya said out loud.
"Typhon, I am sorry for what I did back there, sometimes a magician can be a fool you know! And I will be ever grateful to you for your help, and your friendship." Ghost said as he held onto the baby hydra.
" I got you," Typhon replied.
The adventure of friendship will become even stronger, in many more years to come.
Seeing as Vine changed Ghost a lot. He is now more friendly than before. On that note, many people have now become dungeon beasts. Ghost would think back to Lagi as a smile came on his face.
He was just glad these three were able to work together to save him. But this was a lesson to be learned he still had a ways to go in terms of power. But adding the Hydra to his list will mostly help.
Just then Mya would say out loud to the Hydra."So are you a Dragon or bird or what are you exactly?" The Hydra looked at her and said. "I don't know but I do know one thing. I am here until the very end.
