When it comes to the many problems that Tartarus could be facing, it was the possibility of a food shortage. People could maintain their original appetites, but the production of food had to be increased if not many others would be able to cope with such an ordeal. This was beyond simply stealing food from others or even ordering it overseas, Lagi was trying to use what he had to see if he could gain as much food as possible. However, there was a quick fix that allowed Lagi to handle the problem as quickly as possible, and it was something that involved some of the residents of the city. The Dryads that made up his city could be used in numerous amount of ways, and one of them was being able to increase the growth productivity of seeds that came from the pentax creatures. Believe it or not, Lagi did have a farming method he used a long time ago with the pentax and the boufer cows. The Pentax were creatures that produced seeds from any produce they ate, and they didn't eat much. As for the boufer cows, they created special manure that could even support vegetative growth in the sand.

As long as Lagi was able to produce that, the dryads would be able to use their magic to increase the growth almost instantly. He even used some of the dryads in his army to help out with the growth of these seeds, the conditions were perfect enough to support it and allowed the Tartarus nation to dive into their biotechnology of using the special skills of a dungeon beast to improve everyday lives.

"Well, that solves one problem."

Heading off to the field to dish out this bountiful harvest served two purposes. First, the vegetables and fruits added versatility to different diets. They didn't have to hunt or breed animals as much to save time in conflict periods, and fishing was also something that could be done with the aquatic-based dungeon beasts taking charge of that. Second, it was important to see the overlord of Tartarus wearing a chef apron and dishing out beef stew to his people, they needed to see an image of him that explained that no job was beneath him. Every role in this country had a purpose to fulfill, and he had a great appreciation of it.

"Come on now, have your fill. We're counting on you here in Tartarus, I wouldn't want the humans to become too foolish and attack us when hunger sets in. This might seem like some hard times for some of you, but it'll all be worth it if you rise to the occasion. " He was trying to inspire confidence and vanquish all of the fears that his loyal subjects had. The rare few that accepted such a change that this was their true selves and believed in the idea that they could have even better lives doing so, were the people he was fighting for.
