History:  Hiroko was born in the slums of Kina. She never knew her parents and doesn't even know her real last name. An old man found her as a baby left in the street with nothing but a blanket she was swaddled in and a note with her name scribbled on it, and he brought her home. She took his family name, Aoki, and he took care of her until she could take care of herself, he wasn’t very kind and was away a lot but Hiroko was always very appreciative that he helped her when she was abandoned.
    Then when she was 10 he said he was moving for work and he couldn’t take her with him, so they parted ways. She ate what she could find and worked odd jobs to make any money she could. She was homeless for a lot of the time, but stayed with strangers who would take her in when she could.
  When she turned 25 she befriended a man she met in a market. He was a busy worker and needed some help with errands, he offered her a live in job working for him. She cleaned up after him, brought him meals, did any task he wanted. She didn’t get payed much at all, but she had a place to stay and he kept her warm and fed.
    During her time staying there, when she was 31 she meets a beautiful woman and is in awe of her instantly. She has beautiful brown skin, big brown eyes, and kept her hair shaved. Her name was Flora and she was 4 years younger than Hiroko. Her and Flora spent lots of time together and fell in love. After dating a few years, Hiroko spends most of the money she had been saving on a silver ring to ask Flora to be her forever partner.
   Unfortunately, around this time the man she was working passed away suddenly. Hiroko was hopeless and devastated. She was closer to him than she was with the man who took her in as a baby. Although she only worked for him she spent enough time with him to consider him family. But now, it doesn’t matter where they are or how much they have. Hiroko and Flora have each other and they were able to make the best of any situation.
    The next couple decades they spent working and saving up money. When Hiroko is 80, her partner starts becoming weaker and Ill. She is always very tired and sleeps a lot of the day away. It had always been their dream to find the perfect place to live and Flora still wanted that. After a few years of being ill she convinces Hiroko to take their savings and travel to a country to check it out and to find them a property. She didn’t want to leave her wife but she would not be able to make the long trip and she promised she would be okay home resting until Hiroko was able to come back and get her.
Role-Play Sample: The raw, earthy smell of the forest after rain has always been something Hiroko has loved. Although she doesn't need an excuse to spend the morning in nature, today she actually has a reason to be walking through the wet, muddy woods; She's looking for fresh fruit for breakfast. She overheard two young women the day before in town talking about how they found fresh apples out here, and supposedly they are much better than the ones sold in the market. It was early enough to hear the birds beginning to wake up, chirping and searching for food as well. Birds aren't the only wildlife up and about in the forest that morning, a squirrel catches her attention. He doesn't seem to be too afraid of her presence, he hardly seems to react at all. Reaching into her sweater pocket, she pulls out a bag of nuts she brought along on her walk. Getting close to forest animals is always really difficult, cursing the snapping twigs underneath her, she attempt to move closer. Her raspy voice lets out a whisper, "here little buddy." surprisingly, her whisper didn't startle the squirrel, but it did catch his attention. He lifts his small head up, looking at her with a curious yet suspicious expression. She slowly holds out a small handful of the food for him, being as still as possible. Carefully crawling closer, he looks into Hiroko's eyes and then quickly snatches a large nut and sprints off. Hiroko smiles, appreciating her new little friend, and leaves the pile of nuts for him to come back to, and stands up, continuing on her search for fresh fruit.
