Coli Opponent:

The streets of Reim were brimming with an nightlife scene. Well dressed, turban wearing, or just finely garbed men, and women moved through the torched and lit up areas of different cultures mixing. Many shops, taverns, inns, and outs were being entered and exited. The nightly soldiers found themselves at the roundtable inside one of the busiest bars known in Reim. A random name of sorts easily forgotten, nut always remembered. None could ever live down their time in this place, and always recommended them.

With such recommendation hitting the pale colored ears of Tatara, He knew he had to see it while collecting his thoughts in his free time. The next day was another debut fight, and also his first time fighting someone who was higher up in rankings. It was permitted through some questionable connections; Therefore he wasn’t going to let it slip by him.

Tatara, ran his fingers across the lining of his table just trying to get a feel for it. All of different sizes and mostly different colors passed him, and some even talked, but it was just drunken jiggerish. His mind plastered on getting rid of his gut feeling and figuring out how and what exactly was his style. Not one common style of fighting seen by his barbaric lineage, but more refined and deadly in aspects. What weapon would would make for the nastiest, gruesome, life draining weapon to get hacked, and slashed by; However, not just that crossed his mind. Tatara, face dropped along with his head to cover the anger he held upon it from bystanders.

Tapping his finger against the end of the table only seconds later the barkeep bringing forth another tankard of mead for the adolescents. Sips disappearing to the large in tank of gulps, he swallowed down into his belly.  The warmth sensation of the brew brought forth his rosy nose appearance, and the lady’s seem to compliment the boys facial expressions taken at them. Tatara, was back to back until he rubbed his nose and already releasing multiple “achoos!” from his mouth, with a flick of his tongue. Not waiting for the day to end, and not waiting for the man of sin either.

Piercing through people was still his icy glare. Why so cold he wondered, but never thought to venture to why his expression remained hinged until emotion took over. The epitome of resting bitch face was written across his eyes, and uncurling lips.

While his wait was ongoing, he would wonder who his mother had sent for him. Who was it that she stumbled upon that could meet him at such an hour to look at him, and for him to gloss over. The Coliseum would debut one and continue another's legacy, so who’s money was one who. Til making acquaintances, the tankards would soon to reach five so hopefully before the sixth arrived the person in question would arrive in this night scene of bar festivities.

Julius
Julius has traveled a long road to get here to this country of Reim, where the people were vile and corrupt.  Originally he thought it would be best to start his plan in Kou and punish the people for their year after year of war tours.  At the moment the idea was still within his head, though he knew all too well that other places in the world needed to be punished.  Reim was a prime choice, a country that had "did away with slavery" yet it was still part of their land they did nothing extra to push it out, and on top of that, they seemed to enjoy the bloodshed of others for personal enjoyment in this coliseum.

To fully understand something though one must put themselves into it and judge it from the inside. Julius knew it was easy to cast blame from the outside looking in but this was not that. This was him putting himself into the heart of the issues of the culture and seek out why those who fought did indeed fight.  It was not long after he arrived in the country and headed to the heart of it that he found himself overhearing a woman speaking about looking for another person to join a man who was attempting to climb up the rank of the coliseum, this would prove to be an interesting and perfect timed opportunity for the young magician to enter the ring.

At first, he thought of just watching and speaking to those who entered the arena to fight though with a chance like this he could talk on a more personal level with the fighters and find their true intention out as one of them. Someone cut from the same cloth, someone who was eager to wage in a battle to gain money and fame throughout this very country.

"What a chance, perhaps I should speak to her and find out more." he thought to himself while gathering himself and his belonging from the cart.  Fixing his hate and straightening his tie he would walk closer towards the woman using his cane to match his step with it opposed foot.

"Excuse me miss, but I could not help but to overhear your words.  Normally I would not insert myself into such a position being a man of class and holding myself to a higher template of society, though you see I am but a traveling man.  Perhaps we can help each other you see. "

Pausing for a moment the man's crimson eyes would look into the woman's before explaining further.  "I'm a man of business and healing, in short, I am a magician who uses magic to heal.  Now I know that might seem a bit odd for a man who says he is about healing to offer his hand in a fight with this other man you spoke of but I assure you I can do much more than just heal.  Now I know, I know that it may seem like an offer to push away but allow me to sell it to you.  Picture a newcomer to the ring escorted by an up and coming star. My skills may seem more like a supporting part, but would that not better fit your needs to make this man look better tot he crowd? You see most lack the ability to understand magic so, to most, it would be a display of this man's skill. "

Once he was done a smirk would play across his face, he was eager to allow himself every chance to sell his point to her before she could fully think it over.  He could see the thought playing out in her head and with a smile, she extended a hand and accepted his deal.  He was to meet the man at a bar the following night.  She claimed she would handle the registration and all.

The following night after getting himself familiar with the area the young man would walk into the bar where he was set to meet with the warrior he would be joining in the combat.   Upon entering the bar his cane would clank on the floors as he strolled through.  His suit was black with white leather shoes and white leather hate with a solid black wrap on the head peace where it met the bill.   His tie was white as well with a fitting cream color vest.

His crimson eyes shifted around to each member of the bar taking in their appearance before finding the man he was looking for. She was spot on.  Julius approached the man at a steady pace until he was about 1 meter away from him.  Lifting his cane to under his arm and removing his hat from his head allowing his jet black curly hair to be seen in full, he'd place the hat on the handle of his cane.

"Greetings Dear Sir, I believe you are the one the woman sent me to see about a match tomorrow."

The boy had quietly sat in his booth upon the arrival of the man. His words would fall upon ears that blocked out the noises and different sounds around him. Tatara, was in his own world compared to everyone around him, especially now that he was under the influence of “the substance”. Raising two fingers into the air clearly for the barkeep to notice, he would tap for another tankard to be brought over to him, and for the newly arrived man.

From the tap, smoothly transitioning his knuckles face down to the wood showing he would want him to sit with him. Tatara, did not want to speak to the man until the warmth of alcohol had hit his stomach. A whole hardest conversation would be best given from the man with unknown intentions. True colors could be painted in his mind once they were both there, so his lips remained still and zipped tight.

Waiting on the barkeep, his mind would remember the fresh frosty breezes of the tundra. Chilling winds against the back of his neck, and arms. Tatara, would take in the man’s attire just as he did with Imuchakks environment. The crimson in his eyes were sinister. The color correlation with the matching suit did not help with the devilish vibe giving off him. Tatara, would shrug as two new tankards would finally arrive. Given if the man would drink the tankard quickly, he would speak to address him.

One of his eyebrows rose, and a curve in his cheek formed. “ Yes that women did send you to me. That ‘women’ is my mother, Sir. Kindly put respect upon her name. “ He would sharply say with some spice behind his tongue. “ Down to business, if you can down ten tankards of this bars finest meed, I believe we shall be in great company from now on. I don’t completely trust you, but men with an iron gut surely will do. “

Tatara, looked down at his tankard and in a few seconds downed the entirely of its contents. He would wait to see how the man reacted to his request as it was simple, but also very intoxicating.

Julius
The man's demeanor was not one of which he thought he would encounter. From the way that he spoke and the actions he took in just the short time Julius had entered the building, the man seemed to be nothing but foolish.

For starters who starts drinking before their possible partner in a fight shows up. That was bad business practice alone. Then there was the demand that Julius put some respect on the gentlemen's mother's name, a name which he never got. Not to mention the rudeness he present. When someone spoke their name to you addressing themselves it was proper manners to do the same. Just where the hell did they raise this man?  Julius could not fathom even wildmen being this outdated with common practices.   The thing that really got him was him straight up telling Julius he did not trust so Julius had to drink ten of this establishment's finest piss water to gain his favor.

"I tipped my hat to this? Surely that woman must be mistaken. This man is riddled with improper social standards.  I mean seriously, he seems off the wagon with his drinking and it is closer to noon than midnight. "

His thoughts raced in his head as he looked down at the mug.  Lowering his hat back to his head Julius chuckled.

"Oh yes I see now, this must all be an act. Some kind of test right? There is no way you expect me to show respect to a woman I have a brief conversation with, nor respect a name I had not got.  And most certainly can not be serious about me slamming back ten whatever they may be just for you to feel better about me, that is absurd and simply unprofessional.  "

His voice was smooth, and calm remaining gentlemen like, but the tone could defiantly be picked up as Julius was not one for games.

"We do not have to trust each other to fight together, trust like that is gain by fighting with each other.  I feel this night should be spent discussing strategy and in a private area rather than discussing such things in a bar or all places.  As for the drinks, I do hope that is your last one because being dehydrated tomorrow will get you killed if you are not serious.

Of course, the magician was not trying to cause an issue, he was simply not allowing himself to be pushed showing that he too was something worth showing respect.

Tatara stared at this finely dressed man, from head to toe as he spoke. Deaf ears fell upon his words as he seemed to be quite upset at what the boy spoke to him. As he was not going to drink from his tankard, the boy had wrapped his index around the handle and quickly consumed the man's drink. His icy stare beamed towards the crimson eyes of the man as he slowly tilted his head back drinking the mead.

“ I will be mutual for now.

He spoke six words, and rubbed his pale chin. Peddling his fingers about, and then running them same fingers to his belly, he would seem to be quite hungry. Looking away from the mans, and around to make eye contact with the barkeep continuing to avoid the advances of strategy talk, self introduction, and overall a mild conversation.

“I do not play about my hunt. I shall never waver in battle, nor get dehydrated. Keep to your own. Looking at your weak constitution, you will surely support me from the rear. Listen carefully as well. We shall stay here, and talk. No rooms.

The boy is young, but the expectation of becoming drunk off this small amount of alcohol was not going to stop his brain from overthinking scenarios. He would let the comment of not knowing his mother's name slip his mind as he briefly goes over the opponent in his mind. ‘ This man doesn’t seem often compatible to rush the vanguard with me, nor will he get in my way during the hunt. I would toss him, before that. This woman we go against is skilled in long range, so he is a must to cover me as I charge forth. I suppose coming to common grounds is okay. ' He thought.

    “ Tatara. And You?

He would say with his brows pressed against each other curving into a menacing expression. His face resembling one of those rolled burden dogs people loved so. Not changing himself, or any of his expressions yet for the man, but he knew they should work together.

The man seemed to be folly in the sense he thought this was a good place to think battle tactics.  Julius would part his lips as his crimson hues watched as the man seemed to take his words to heart, somewhat.   "Julius. "

The mage would pull a seat up at the bar removing his hat from his head and placing it on the top of his cane over the handle.  He would then tuck the cane under his arm locking it in place preventing it from falling or being taken.   Once again Julius would prepare himself to speak, they were two vastly different people so communication was the best way to handle everything.

"You seem like a guy who is very straight forward, so I assume you are the type of fighter to charge in. I can heal you if you get hurt, but I can also summon some things up.  I can Currently summon up to 18 things at once. That's large enough to be a guild if they were not drone to my control. So, does this fit your style of combat?  I'll even make sure to not take the winning blow from you. "

It was pretty cut in dry, it did not matter who they were fighting Julius was going to take them all on.  He was going to understand the culture fully by diving right in and using this experience to cast his final judgment!

This man, Julius seemed to talk to him as if he was a simpleton barbaric. This made him quite upset with how, he assumed, but their conversation was almost over. Scratching his head, and running a couple of his fingers through his air after releasing a deep sigh at what he thought was going to happen. Since, Tatara felt the need to make not a lavish plan, but more of an area of control type of situation, he would finally express his thoughts.

With your summons you could corner someone? Or should I say you could indirectly control their placement on the battlefield is we bait, tempt, and overall agitate the competitor to acting unlike a seasoned veteran…

Pausing to catch his breath. Unsure if his point on wanting to trap the archer and lead her into traps, but he seemed like the cunning man to do something as such. Tatara would examine, Julius facial expression a little, as he began to speak again.

More or less, I want to continue on my rep as a barbaric competitor until, I’m stronger and more refined with the blade. So all I shall ask of you is that you handle crowd control, entrapping the archer, and then allowing me to deliver the final blow as you said.  I am not a glory person, so if you want the blow please signal with a right hand in the air.

Leaning back in his seat, and continuing to study the man expressions. Looking closely to try and figure out his age. Figure how what really made him different, why his complexion was so pale compared to other people from his religion. Tatara, did not know much about other countries, but he knew how to tell their native people apart, and Julius did not fit the bill of a man from Reim.

Lastly, I would like to retire after hearing your answer. But please present any questions you have before, I depart.

Tatara, would spin his fingers around in the air to order another few rounds of the meed from the barkeep. A buzz was finally about to overcome him, and he was ready to sleep it off. Hopefully, Julius would not keep him long, but would also ask meaningful questions.

Understanding fully what the man wished to do Julius nodded answering his question with body language. "That would be easy enough, I can currently gather about 80 of my creatures but I suppose a handful will be able to do what we need to control the field of battle. "

With that said the man would stand up gripping his hat from his cane nodding his head and tipping his hat before placing it back onto his head. His right palm reached to his cane gripping it firmly before setting it back up right allowing it to touch the ground. "I'll leave you to it, I shall see you tomorrow then. I'll be waiting in the staging area getting my surroundings."

After speaking the mage would turn as he headed out of the establishment and off to his room he was renting while in town. After reaching his room he would go to bed and awake about 8 hours later. After conducting his morning routine he'd get dress in a red button down shirt with a black vest over it. On his head laid a hat of the same fashion but red with a black cloth around the bucket as they called it of the hat. His pants were black as were his shoes and belt. With his black metal stave in hand he would leave his place and head straight to the arena.

It was now the day of the battle and the man could not be more ready to be honest, he was looking forward to learning from these men and how they would treat battle and the work up to the battle. He wished to learn why they kept fighting round after round.  Once he made it to the arena Julius would go to check in.  Outside the fighters entrance was a man with a clip board. His skin was dark and his hair was braided. Julius walked up to him greeting him with a bow of his hat. The man looked down at him and gave a head nod.

"Name?"
"Julius"
"Stage name?"

The man paused for a few seconds thinking. It would be a good idea to have some Alias to go by within these walls though.  Something that fit him but was also simple. Perhaps Juul would be enough.

"Juul"

With that now taken care of Julius would push forward into he locker room. As planned he removed his hat and his jacket putting it hanging within the confines of his locker.  While he would await his turn to fight and his partner to show up. Though as it came closer and closer to the time to fight he noticed the man whom had all those drinks was not around.

Julius Plageuis

Julius Plageuis

Taking in a deep breath he let it out in a long dragged out sigh. This was surely to look good on the man's reputation. This would bolster Juul's however as a planned two on one would turn into a one on one. Well At least in terms humans because Juul was going to have to bring out his pets to make this something more of a fair fight. Perhaps about 30 would be enough?  One could only hope and hope was all he really had at this point.  Walking to his entrance the shadows cast over him as the door remained closed. He could her the announcer speaking though he did not even pay it any mind as he began to get nervous. He had never fought someone like this someone so strong from what he had gathered. HE was suppose to just control the field! "DAMMIT" he thought to himself.

Shaking his doubt from his mind Juul look up and gripped his stave firmly. No, he was going to win and test his power here and now.  Casting their magic over their body while speaking to the ruhk, with the power of life magic they enhance their skin.  Scaling this spell did so four times hardening the his skin to be able to take A tier Damage.  Now that his defense was set it was time to set up his offensive plans.

Pure magic emits from the Julius' stave as it pours onto the surface on the Stave. As the Magic consumes it, it would pull from it many micro organisms and combine them into a single being of horror. This beast would be a worm like creature which travels underground. It lays about 1.5 meters long and .5meters wide. It's mouth is dressed with 12 teeth, 6 on top 6 on bottom.  Still chanting away talking to the Ruhk he'd tap the end of his stave onto the ground twice scaling this ability allowing the number of his worm beast to double twice giving him four in total.

Once they all four were summoned Juul would command them into the ground and just as they had buried them selves the door would open lifting up letting in the light from the arena.   Lifting his free hand up to his face he'd block the sunlight as he would blink a few times letting his eyes  adjust.

my equipment:

The night before was meager. Fresh smells of daybreak would enter his nostrils, before the cold, but the warm hand of his mother ran across his cheek. Such a stinging was unlike any battle wound he received in recents trials and tribulations. “ Gak! Kona. “ Speaking sum of the old tongue of his late family. Taking the harsh palm of his mother's face, he rolled over from his resting position and released such a foul yawn from his mouth. “ Við skulum gera þennan föður og afa” whispers from his lips, and donned upon his mothers ears, and his.

Rubbing her only sons back, she would shortly begin to braid his hair getting him ready for the battle thus to begin. He was going to arrive late, and he was letting his ally down. A spectacular entrance was needed, and what more would a face reveal of the young man on stage be. None had known it, and no other beside his mother knew it, and the man he was allied with. “ Kona. I shall return victorious for our ancestors and clansmen.  Fyrir Valor, hugrekki, sigur.” He would speak in their language one last time.

The last braid would take its bind. With that, water would splash his face and drizzle down his cheeks, and off his cherry lips and off the pale of his chin. Dripping onto the pavement and splattering away, the young boy would grip his spear and hold his shield before departure was taken. He took the shortest route from his point, and found the entrance to the stands. Using his swiftness to double his chances of slipping through the crowd of masses.

Sitting in the stands he would be, well armed with his equipment and hovering his arms over the railing. Hidden beneath the filth of the poor, and covered his face behind an cloak stolen from a beggar along the way. A bystander he would appear, if no one would recognize the weapons.

Tatara, would crack a cheeky smile as Julias would take the stage along as the woman archer.

Once his eyes would adjust Juul would look to the ground and smirk, all he had to do was draw the woman's focus as he got close enough to let his beast sink their teeth into her.  Once the gate was fully open Juul would start to walk out from it, the beast keeping their maximum range of 15 meters from their master.  As he entered the fighting area he soon noticed that the distance of the ring where they would be doing battle would be far greater than he would have thought initially.  After a few more steps into the arena, the roar of the crowd was echoing throughout the entire stadium.  Taking a look around, he scanned the crowd verifying for himself how many sick and twisted people came here to watch others die and fight to please them.  This was the reminder he needed to kindle his hate for this country and their sick and twisted morals even further.

He could pick up on a few words being spoken behind him from the closes chairs to the battle.  "Is he fighting alone? This guy is gonna die hahaha!" "Yea, it was supposed to be two rookies versus the veteran, guess this will be over quick. "

Juul looked over his shoulder for a moment to get a better listen to the conversation. They were foolish to even think something like that. It might be true he wasn't a veteran of fighting in this arena but he was a strong magic caster in the spells he did know.  Soon his opponent and those watching would get to know this to be true as well.

With his opponent coming out he would walk towards her as she would do the same.  They would keep walking until Julius and Sheila were about 10 meters away. This would already be close enough to allow his wickworm beast the chance to attack whenever he was ready.

The white-haired woman would look at the male and smirk. "So your little friend was too scared to show up huh? Well good luck, I will try to end this without killing you." She would then wink at him before she would turn away drawing her bow and reaching for an arrow. At this moment Juul would point his stave at her and grin.   "As well I"

With a puzzled look, she went to turn to him when out of the ground came out 2 of his wormbeast attempting to sink their teeth into her left ankle and thigh attempting to apply a total of B tier damage to a leg. These would catch her off guard as they would find their mark. With a scream of pain, she could feel the warm blood trickle down her legs and foot. Her natural speed had to be affected. All was left was the remain two beasts to find their mark, however, things were never simple for the magician.

When the next set of beast came out from the ground she would roll backward 7 meters using her Dodge Roll she had practiced since her youth.  Though his attack missed it seemed her speed was effected, which was good for Jull. Sheila would not give up with this wound of hers however, she would fire off her arrow with her special shot. Piercing Arrow, Shelia shoots an arrow up to 30 meters away, with a barbed tip, intended to inflict A-tier damage.

His body would get hit and his left shoulder pushing backward as his hat would be forced from his head and his body looking as if it was knocked off-balance.  Taking a single step backward his arms would fall to his sides as it looked as if she might have hit his heart.

The crowd had fallen silent when his beast came out the ground, they were confused. Though when she rolled backward they would scream out in a single cheer. When her arrow fired and found it marks the crowd got even louder as they thought she had won and started chanting her name.

They had no idea that his skin had been reenforced to take such a blow, and a good thing that it had or he would have died with this attack.  This would anger him, they were cheering for his death! It was time to show them what he was truly capable of doing.

Stabbing his stave into the ground he would start the flow of his magic while speaking to the ruhk "Eating Of Flesh, FESTER!" He was casting two spells one after the other.

Magic swirls around the caster as they stab their stave into the ground. Upon doing so purple magic burst from the stave and lifts into the air, black butterfly-like creatures known as ruhk sputter around in a spiral as the caster's life magic forms into a green mist that covers an 8meter diameter sphere around him, inflicting others with a flesh-eating bacteria crafted from life magic. The mist is 2m far from him upon cast. Once a person even if the caster enters, bacteria in the form of a rash will slowly eat at their flesh resulting in a slight sickly green hue to the flesh dealing D tier damage. The mist lasts for the entire post before dispersing by the next post. The rash appears where contact with the mist is made. Scaling this three times, he would increase the range to 38 meters allowing the green gas to seep out enough to reach is the target.

As the spell reached her, she was unable to move and lifted her bow hand to block the attack thinking it was something else. Instead, she felt a slight pain of her hand and a blister. She began to chuckle though it wouldn't last long. With bacteria on her hand would soon be enhanced and rapidly spread due to fester and Julius scaling it three times as well boosting it to A tier damage. The flesh eating bacteria evolves rapidly eating away at the entire Limb in the infected area applying A tier Damage. Not much is left on the bone of the infected limb, muscles cling to the bone but not very much of it remains.

The bow would fall from her hand as she would scream and cry out in pain as she could see bone and muscle tissue where her once beautiful skin was over her hand. Due to the pain and shock, she would pass out leaving Juul standing at the winner.

The crowd would fall silent again. Whispers of him being a demon of some kind were being spread, though they had no idea. He was going to do far worst to their very own country.
