Mission:

On the outskirts if the city of Heliohapt was where a single man, heavily clothed in linen and garbs had transverse through the endless desert sands that go as far as the eye can see. Delight had set in his eyes when he spotted a cavern surrounded with sturdy stones that left the makeshift monument unfettered by the sands of this lifeless plain.

Once he hurried inside, he had come across the great stone double doors in front of him, just like he was told. It was the entrance to one of the many headquarters of the Cursed Helms, an ominous place indeed; for it was filled with criminals of all kinds and known for putting the law in Heliophat on a crutch.

After he had approached the massive gate, he hesitantly raised his hand and knocked on the door. All it took was a single knock and a small opening in the gate slide back revealing bloodshot red eyes glaring at the traveler with a discerning glint in his pupils. "Xycosis." Left the traveler's parted lips. It was the pass and with it, the enigma behind the door closed the opening.

Next, the massive doors began to cave in ever so slowly just enough so the shaken male was able to slip in. The doors had closed behind him and along the straight dusty path he went, down the flight of stairs and straight into a large room that had been coated in a veil of thick spoke. Upon his entrance, all eyes ended up on him as he walked through the club past the tables layered with gold, treasures and tobacco. The tension in the air was far thicker than the smoke in the air, so much so that a man could choke and die on it.

Eventually he would sit down in a table where, Morsus, a high ranking dealer sat across the table. He was the one who handled half the number of requests, deals and money orders in the group anyway, so he was expecting one of the three when he glared at the man with steely blue eyes. The traveler removed his goggles and cowl.

"Right. I'm here to hire someone to help the Priests of the black temple take care of a certain problems. O-one of the dessert crocodiles have been acting irrationally as of late, k-killing off anything that would go near it. I wish to make sure that this does not happen again, so I ask that one of your comrades be so kind to disable the beast and bring him to the Black Kin- I mean Temple."

The traveler had explained after he broke into a cold sweat. The fear in his eyes was noted and Morsus nodded. "How much are you willing to pay for it's capture?" He would bluntly asked and the traveler reached into his bag and pulled out two things. One of the items was a bag filled with jewels worth at least three thousand Huang and the other was a small gourd filled with a strangely colored liquid inside of it. The bandit acknowledged the money and lifted his right hand to flex his two fingers back and forth to signal for someone.

It was then that a seat had moved backwards and a young looking thief stood up on to his two feet; then  picked up his weapon off the table while some of the other members chuckled. This boy then walked up behind Morsus and shot a fixed, neutral glance at the traveler.

"This is Axion Muhamodo. He'll take care of your croc problem." The man said and the traveler looked back at Axion, perplexed. At first glance, he did not seem to really be capable of taking down the mighty desert crocodiles; heck the creature was twice as big as the child. However, he dared not openly question Morsus's decision and he just nodded in agreement, wanting this whole thing to go by smoothly. "Deal. Take this poison with you. It's a special batch that one of the chief priest had concocted so it'll prove to be useful." He would explain as he held the gourd by it's red strap and Axion silently took it and glanced at it.

With that, the traveler took the bag of jewels with him and left the room quickly, earning a snicker from Morsus. "You know what you have to do." He had said casually after he glanced back at the youth who proceeded to walk out of the room without a word. On the way out, he had took a heavy cloth jacket, his black mask, thick rope, a large carpet and a travelling bird large in which he would use to move through the sandy desert.

With his sheath securely placed in his linen belt and the goggles that the traveler had left, Axion was on his way to the river near the black temple. Of course, he knew the way and after a few hours of walking in this god-forsaken desert, he would reach his destination.

So far so good, the boy then hopped off the saddled bird and took the gourd out before he plucked the cork off the top. He poured it down the river stream and the deadly liquid would soon saturate the river and seep into the mouth of the massive beast who had poked a tip of it's head out of the surface of the river when Axion arrived, watching him closely as he swam closer to him.

"Here he comes..." he had thought to himself and then he tossed the empty gourd at the crocodiles head and it erupted out of the river bank, water spreading outward when he snapped his powerful jaws on the gourd to reduce it to pieces before coming down hard on the ground.

You could have bet that the thing would have crushed Axion flat if he had not back flipped back out of the way of both the crocodile and the sand that rose after the impact. This seven foot monster was extremely grand and Axion's blood started to boil because the heat from his excitement was unbearable, even if it did not show on his face. It was then that he took his sheath out of his belt as the crocodile wobbled forward, feeling the effects of the poison coursing throughout it's body.

The boy then had hopped on top of the beast once it had gotten close enough before he drew his sword and impaled it's left eye. The sword helping him keeping his footing while the creature thrashed around, tiring itself out. The more he moved, the deeper the sword would penetrate it's skull. so he pulled his sword out to keep himself from killing the thing.

It was then that he would hop off the  beast after he re-sheath his sword. It was a good thing that the poison was doing most of the work for him, made this job all the more easier and for that he was grateful.

When he landed on the sand the creature he positioned his body to try and catch Axion with it's other eye but it would prove to be too late as the boy made quick work of the distance between them and drew his blade, slicing at the other eye before he once again sheathed his sword as he hopped back to retreat. The final attack would all he needed to finally settle the croc down who thrashed so much in agony that it tipped over it's belly and landed on it's back.

Blinded, the creature would stop his panicking. Through it's bated breathing, Axion knew that this battle was almost over and he would leap up into the air and land on it's belly in where he would draw his sword to deliver two additional diagonal cuts. One for each lower leg of the massive creature, severing the veins and disable it. This should keep it from walking for a while.

Blood trickled out of it's wounds and Axion slipped his sword back into it's scabbard before scabbard would be tucked back into his belt. Disappointed at the short battle, he walked back over to the long legged bird and unpack the rope and carpet attached to it.

He would use it to wrap the crocodile and tie it's jaw shut then he would use the remaining rope to attach the package to bird before he hoped back on top of the saddle. "Let's go girl..." He mused and they were off again, the bird dragged the large body over to the Black Temple in where he would reach them in record time. There, he got paid and left them to go about their business.
