Alexander had decided to meet up with Sharram on his day off to see what they could possibly do to get rid of this parasite and perhaps teach him how to train the Infinity bugs. And as far as Alex knew, Sharram wasn't in camp, which seemed to happen often. Alex sought out, Etanhol, aka 0 to find his whereabouts.
Apparently he was out by the eastern sea, he needed a break from it all and the ocean would relax him. So now it was time for a trek to go see his tutor. Alex merely took the jar of inactive yet beauteous beetles. They seemed still to be freshly out of their larvae stage and still couldn't fly despite the semblance of wings.
As he traveled, he could feel the parasite inside of him, it was almost a primal fear that started to crawl throughout him, but he persevered, but his body began to react as if he were in a life or death situation, sweating profusely and trembling, but also a large adrenaline rush, which he used to fuel his travel with his bugs, setting up a tent for the night to rest and recover from the exhausting excursion.
In the morning he could finally see the sea, and he could hear the howling of dogs, which made it easy to locate him. As he arrived, he could see Sharram with a smiling face, almost as if impressed by the young boys perseverance. "Hey Sharram, you'll keep your word, right?" The tall Helio man nodded just as he had in the tunnels.
"First, let me show you a few ways to train beasts in general. You must give them a cue, and there are many." He pointed his finger at some tree nearby and made a circling motion and the dogs did just that. Then he lifted his finger in the air, and they came straight to him. "That's a visual cue." Then he reached into his attire and opened a small cloth bag. The dogs spread out and started snarling, looking around vigorously. CLosing the bag and opening another one, the dogs seemed to be playful and almost childlike for a moment.
"That's an odor cue." Then he closed that and the dogs snapped back to their former selves. Then gave specific whistle and the dogs sprinted at 8 and tackled him to the floor, subduing him peacefully. Then another he blew into a dog whistle, which the dogs began barking, until he blew into it again and they stopped.
It was quite entertaining, he commanded them to him with a verbal cue. "You've got to understand what your beast can understand and work from there. And let me see what you have.” With that Alex brought out his glass jar full of the beetles. “You have great taste but these are quite dangerous. You did will to seek my advice. They aren't fully mature yet so I will tell you some of the things they are capable of first. There next growth point should be the ability to fly. When they grow a bit more they will be able to burrow but here is when they become dangerous, do you see the light that shines? It is actually a very combustible fluid, they do not yet produce enough for it to matter, but once they reach full maturity they can explode into flames.”
