[Training] Life

Victoria stood at the centre of a small clearing. She was at the Jade Mountains, deciding that it was high time she got some training done. Ever since she got to Zou, she hadn’t been able to train or improve herself. All she spent doing in that place was getting caught up in the middle of a stupid drama and spend some time in the Zou holding cells. Well, that was an achievement though, now wasn’t it? She didn’t think there were many people that went against the almighty Tsuki Yomi and she had done just that. He was an idiot, a dictator and a fake. That’s what she got from her first encounter with him anyway.

With her staff in her right hand, she dropped her bag to the ground before sitting down, crossing her legs on the ground. For a moment, she started enjoying her surroundings. The gentle wind that blew her short hair around, the sound of running water not too far away and the faint scent of the earth under her all felt as if they were beckoning her to them. She simply enjoyed it with a small smile on her lips before she closed her eyes and started listening to their flow of life.

It all came to her in the form of moving bright light which seemed like liquid light flowing from one place to the other. No matter how emotionless she may come across as for other people, in all honesty, she was just an ordinary life mage that enjoyed the simple gifts of life and nature. A life of solitude may seem sad for others but she still loved the peace it brought to her. With that, she opened her eyes and stood up. Her eyes darted all over the place and as her grip on her staff tightened, a purple glow covering her from head to toe.

When the white rukh started surrounding her, she imagined life, thick forest, trees, plants, flowers shrubs, bushes, grass and everything that could possibly represent life inside a forest. It took her some time and concentration but in ten minutes, there was a thick forest in the making. The earth shook a little as the landscape started to change slowly but systematically. Sweat formed on her forehead as she felt energy being drained out of her. It wasn’t much but as she just started with this magic, it was difficult for her to control the growth without the usage of a little more of her magoi.
